Support your nature protecting facilities! Takes my breath away every time! So many trees!

Nice green area for urban relief or to learn about trees or to hunt trolls.

Friendly staff greeted us with a smile to check in. Nice walks with a variety of plant species. Only thing that would make it perfect would be more pet days.

Nice place to visit in summer with family's. I got a free entry with my bank of america credit card.I swipe my card and the person at the counter told me that every month first week its a free entry for the bank of america credit card holders.Thanks for saving my $15/entry fee.

Beautiful area with so much to explore. Hiking, biking, running, along with a kids area with so many places for them to check out and have mini adventures. They have a cafe as well with food and drinks available.

An annual membership is the best way to experience the Morton from season to season. The miles and miles of walking trails, through landscapes designed in part by Walter Burley Griffin, are the best part, but in recent years the Morton has improved their events and educational programming as well, so there's often something of interest going on.

Bring water and snacks, the trails are long but beautiful.

I wanted to take my grandson for the troll hunt but they are so far away from each other it wasn't possible we saw 1 too expensive

1,700 acres with miles of wood chip paths to explore a variety of woodlands. Before you go check their website for entrance fees.

Could spemd days here. The fresh air makes you feel like a new person

Lots of walking trails range from easy to moderately strenuous, and many are just a short distance from the visitors center and parking lot. A newly renovated children's garden makes this a wonderful outing for the whole family. There are many different gardens with clear informational signs explaining history and facts you never would have known. The only challenge is that we found poor maps and directional signs nearer the visitors center but quite helpful ones for most of the park. This was frustrating as there are many crisscrossed trails coming together there and it made it difficult to navigate.

I attended the Illumination event at the arboretum. Let me tell you, it is far more than just Christmas lights hanging up on some trees. This was a completely interactive tour that was as informative as it was entertaining.

It's a beautiful place. Visited during the holiday Illumination. Lights are very impressive and the event is run smoothly. Loved how they had concession stands selling hot drinks.

Wonderful people, very helpful, beautifully laid out campus, and the lights for illumination were stunning!

We went for the Christmas lights show. It was gorgeous, everyone was friendly and the warm up tents were a godsend

Great family walking and exploring the Trolls. The only downside was the limited parking available.

Morton Arboretum is very well cared for and is a lovely walking venue. The plants and trees are labeled and there are unusual varieties of both.
The Kids' Garden is especially popular with kids and is spread out over gorgeous landscapes. I highly recommend the arboretum for people that enjoy nature, families and travelers who want to see the beauty that lies beyond Chicago.

I went last December with my family and enjoyed the winter lights.

Enjoy a walk thru the Arboretum. Lovely evening to enjoy a beautiful light show with accompanying music. Stop and have a cup of hot chocolate while sitting by the fire.

Very nice place. The "Trolls" are fun and this season's display are Lego exhibits. So awesome.

Get back to nature. A wonderful place to drive through the woods, take a walk or sit quietly by the side of a lake.

I can t believe it took me so long to visit this place. It s such a huge place with endless paths. Must bring walking shoes! They have a large kid-friendly area and a cafe by the main visitor center. I wasn t a fan of the troll hunt personally, but I loved the scenery.

Went to see their light show and it was beautiful! Reccomend people going to see their light show around Christmas time!

I went for the Lights show on 12/2/17. It was a very nice experience. There were tents along the way where you could buy warm beverages and snacks. There were helpful employees along the way to answer questions.

Attended a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception here. It was well organized with a beautiful setting.

Many activities and things to look at. Great way to spend your day and good source of exercise.

The Morton Arboretum is such a wonderful place to visit especially for families. You'll learn to appreciate nature as you're walking through the beautiful Woods. I love going there. It is so therapeutic!

Knowledgeable staff took their time to make sure that the kids in my son's school group learned as much as they could in the time they had available, while allowing them enough room to explore a little of the ecosystem around them.

Beautifuly maintained grounds and trails featuring a deep collection of both common and rare trees, shrubbery, and flowers from all over the world.

Awesome for walking and enjoying nature and a wonderful kids play garden. Reasonably priced as well.

THIS IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ARBORETUM! I WENT WITH MY FAMILY AND HAD A PICNIC. THE KIDS HAD A GREAT TIME BECAUSE THE ARBORETUM INCORPORATED ACTIVITIES IN THE CHILDREN'S GARDEN. GREAT PLACE FOR TAKING PROFESSIONAL PICTURES. BEAUTIFUL NATURE VIEWS EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK!

Absolutely amazing! So many things for the kids to do and the adults. We brought our lunch and ate at one of the tables. Many of the areas were closed because of it being winter so hopefully when we go back in the summer we will be able to see those areas.

with the family we spent the whole day outdoors and the children looked for trolls. nice fun if someone likes to walk, we recommend. and we will still appear there ...

Always beautiful and peaceful. Great staff and volunteers. The area would not be the same without it. Worth the price of entry and the membership as well.
