Beautiful place with nice walking paths. Illumination in the winter is wonderful.

A great place to get out into nature. The children's gardens are so creative, and the Trolls exhibit really got people exploring the rest of the arboretum. Great hiking for all ages. They also have a tram for non hikers who wish to see the grounds.

Beyond beautiful place! We traveled to see the trolls. They did not disappoint. We found the maps to see them confusing. And unfortunately the visitor center is closed due to covid. Highly recommend driving if you want to see them all. Especially if you have little ones.

Nice place to visit, but too pricey for a weekday. Nothing was going on, no demonstrations, food booths, etc. You can walk in any forrest preserve and see about the same things for free.

It's a beautiful peaceful area full of trees, flowers and beauty.

The trolls. You have to go see this exhibition. Take the 90 minute tram tour for $10. Very informative and fun.

Attended Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum. Great event, wonderful views, excellent and plentiful staff to answer questions or direct you.

Great paved bike paths. A fall bike ride at Morton is one of Chicagoland's best experiences.

We always love the Arboretum! Kids love the Children's Garden, Adventure forest. Today we found all the origami sculptures as part of a special exhibit. We are Members and always manage to find something new at each visit.

We were there for the light show. It was snowing and a beautiful experience.

It's places like this that should have a special six star rating. The trails are fantastic, the garden is very well kept. It's an absolutely fantastic place to go take in some nature.

Mediocre music and lights, specially compared to Lincoln Park Zoo lights. Not as crowded.

Great place to see many varieties of trees and shrubs. Their current troll exhibit on the grounds is very interesting.

I am so mad at myself for wasting $14 on this place. Should be more like $6 or $8. Or better yet, go to a free park and experience the same things. I was having second thoughts upon approaching the gate and noticing the sign that tells you what the admission price is, but of course by that time you can't turn around. Nice.

What an awesome place. I came for the holiday lights on the first time. So had to stay on the path that they designated for night time.
Came back again a few weeks later to do a gnome hunt with my grandkids. This led us into another part of the park. I will be going back often to see more.

If Disney is the happiest place on earth, then the Morton Arboretum is the most beautiful.

Went for the tree lights, it was good. Would be a good place to tank your date.

Massive and gorgeous natural preserve. Beautiful gardens as well as huge areas of natural growth. Highly recommended.

Love to visit the Morton year round. Especially fun this summer is the 2018 Troll exhibit!

Did a great job in all different stations. Our kids 4 years old and under enjoyed it. The price I wish was a little less but it was fair.

The colors this fall were great and each week it changes. Love to go for a walk here.

We love going to the arboretum. They have great classes for kids and adults. The trails are great for hiking and biking. The kids park is wonderful and has several differnt play areas.

Lots of great stuff for kids. Nice to get then to appreciate the outdoors and flora.

Illumination is great. Bummed they got rid of hot wine. Don't wear your good shoes.

We went here for the Christmas light show on a Thursday at 730. We all could not believe how busy it was. All I can say is if you have not gone here yet to see the lights you are missing out on some awesome displays.. We are going again during the summer to see the trolls and find their home base. I can't wait.

Wonderful trails! Formal plantings in the front, otherwise natural areas. Gift store was wide selection. Cafe is veg friendly. Parking can be tight.

If you don't love the arboretum, please schedule a session with your doctor to discuss your lack of a heart.

Its huge. Came for memorial for friend which was beautifully apt for are friend petey. Great place to have gathering but come early...takes a long time to get to entrance and then through it. Ty for making a place that honors trees.

Tons of wooded trails. Lots of wildlife. Deer and coyote

Beautiful place to take a walk along with nature. There are many restrooms, place to eat, and during winter they offer hot chocolate to keep you warm. It's a very big place. I quote the lady, she said there are over 9 miles? Kid friendly, adult friendly.

Very pretty but not what I expected. It would be nice to see more varieties together. For example a group of maples together to see how the varieties differ etc. its more like a nature preserve than anything but you pay for it.

The Morton Arboretum is always a peaceful and relaxing place to spend time.

We purchased a family membership just for their Children's Garden area. Toddler heaven.

Fantastic family-friendly destination! Beautiful gardens, extensive natural areas featuring a wide variety of plant species from around the world! Amazing collection of common to exotic plants! Educational Center, Children's Garden, a fun hedge-row maze, Legos sculptures, a restaurant, and more! Highly recommended!

The park is huge and very diverse. Perfect for nature lovers! There are also changing events, etc. Since the park is not free, there are only 4 instead of 5 stars.

Miles of hiking and biking trails and a wonderful place to take a walk in the woods! Fun and educational material for kids and currently, overrun with..........trolls!!!!!

Wonderful place for all. If you love being outdoors there is something for everyone of all ages. Walking biking etc. Great activities for the young children too.
