Steak was good, sides were average.
Starter and main course took VERY long to be served.
My Lobster Mac&Cheese were kept warm for too long and ended up being so dry that got them refunded.

Overall I don't think we will be coming back any time soon :/

Such a cozy beautiful environment. Might be some of the best steaks I've had. I opted for a sampler entree to try some different types of steaks and was beyond pleased. Cooked perfectly to my liking. Crab cocktail for an appetizer was amazing as well. James, our server, made sure our visit was comfortable and well appointed. 5 stars for service and food!

So...they are trying something new at the Met. My bill, $325, included a 20% service charge that will be kept by the company in its entirety. Additionally, according to the manager I spoke with, the servers are now being paid commission (I m ok with that) at a rate of 13%. When the server brought us the check she pointed out the new service charge but omitted the fact that she was on commission. So, in fact, with a 20% tip and 13% commission she would have banked a pretty robust tip. I m all for tipping according to service received. But there s some smoke and mirrors here that most people are not throwing a fit over, but should. I did, and got the service charge removed. My meal was ~really~ $250 (see attached receipt.) The 20% service charge ($50) + a 20% tip on the entirety of the check ($65) would have totaled $105 on $250 check. This is a BAD practice and I will not return. There lots of upscale steak houses in Seattle. Oh...and that Woodford Double Oak for $14? A 1 oz pour. Simple highway robbery.

The streak is bar none. Showed up a little early for reservations and they were still able to seat us. Staff was amazing. Waiter (James) was knowledgeable and funny. Service was prompt. I got the bacon wrapped filet with lobster, dinner partner got the porterhouse. The steak was sinfully good. So tender it just melted. The mashed potatoes were great too. Wish I liked wine so I could have made use of their extensive selection.

So it's good for steaks obviously but not much for vegetarian options . It would be good if they start having it. But I went with team lunch. I am only vegetarian. So its ok. Like place , seating arrangement and lighting. Place is crowded and noice. But servers are helpful.

So this after tasting one item only available in menu. Sandwich. Horrible. All soggy , wet, bad taste. Fries cold. sandwich cold, soggy. And too much suace wet.

Absolutely delivers on their claim to the best steak in town. To the extent of my steak knowledge at least. Ambience is wonderful, wasn't as good as el gaucho but still wonderful. Our waitress was amazing and extremely friendly, I forget her name but she really did an amazing job making us feel at home. Even the people refilling water and taking plates were friendly and fun to talk to. Food was top notch of course. I got the new york strip of the double r ranch beef. Cooked perfectly and was excellent. Mashed potatoes were great although I always appreciate the option of gravy for mashed potatoes. Scallops for an appetizer were excellent and out of anything we got, i would have to reccomend it. Only complaint is that the roasted Brussels sprouts were a little underwhelming. Overall, excellent meal, great ambience, amazing service. Go here.

Love this place .. great food. 3 stars because of the unnecessary erosion in service. Unfortunately management keeps messing with staffing due to the minimum wage hike so service leaves a lot to be desired. Perhaps management should stop trying to push their senior employees out the door and get them back to their usual shifts. Only then will service make it worthy of 5 stars.

The night started off well, valet was prompt and professional. The host staff charming and the bar was great, had one of the best Manhattan's ever.
Our server Jim was fantastic, nothing but good things to say about his service.
I had the filet which was good, but my husband's steak came back twice undercooked, so I enjoyed dinner alone. After the second time his steak came out he gave up on getting it right and I was already finished eating, so he when without. We accepted the comp desserts in place of the steak, but those too where lacking. $250 is alot to spend to walk out the door hungry. For a place that prides itself on steaks we were really disappointed.
Again this review is not a reflection of the service, it's a poor review for the kitchen.

The waiter was so rude. He acted like he was doing us a BIIIIIIG favor every time he came over and would walk away while we were asking questions, answering them as he walked away and with is back turned. The ambiance was nice, but the service was worse than I could have gotten at Ruby Tuesday's.

Met a friend and his colleague here for a lunch meeting / interview, and was blown away by the prime rib! The prices while high aren't really too out of line compared to other steak houses, either, and the quality of meat was phenomenal. A must for serious steak and beef fans

Great service, the prime rib my dad ordered was a little off the temp he ordered it at. Everything else was great. Host walked us to one of the quieter corners of the restaurant which I highly appreciated!

Celebrated a birthday dinner. Started with Crab Cakes and Salad. Pretty good, I'd give them 4-stars. Had a couple versions of Moscow Mules, very well done and did-the-job 5-stars. Finally, main course was the in-bone Ribeye steak and mashed potatoes. Steak was ON-POINT! (See pics.) Great flavor and the steak melted in my mouth. My wife had the boneless Ribeye with Crab sauce. Both 5-STARS!! Bring your check book, a little pricey but if your celebrating or just want a real nice steak...next to my wife's steaks this is the best in Seattle.

I had read quite a bit about the Metropolitan grill and had, had plans to visit it for my birthday. The food was incredibly well presented. Well proportioned and flavorful.

I was unsure as to what to order and the waitress suggested a very nice steak. My guest and I split the meal because it was nearly 30oz of meat. Unfortunately it came with quite a bit of fat and bone in it. Taking up most of its total ounces.

The drinks are very, very interesting. Many flavors and items that make your mouth confused and excited. Highly recommend them.
The food was good, made us full and happy. Price was not agreeable for what we purchased though. We ended up with a nice charge for splitting a meal, $10-15 charge of some kind, I forget.

Starting with the most important thing, I was happy with my porterhouse - however I was underwhelmed by the service. I was having dinner by myself because I was traveling for work and wanted to go the most recommended steakhouse in Seattle. I felt that the waiter was really in a hurry with me as he could only expect a one-person tip. Polite but in a rush. I understand the economics behind but that kind of thinking is too transactional in my book, especially for this kind of pricey place. Also, the dessert (chocolate lava something) was just a lot of chocolat and cream and sugar. Hence 3 stars only.
