Metro is a great place for breakfast, lunch and an early dinner. Never disappointed with anything on the menu. Breakfast served all day long!

Metro diner It s on point every time! The food is amazing. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends anytime!

Really good food! The place was packed when we were there but got seated quickly. Friendly staff and great variety on the menu.

I always have a good experience at this location. The food is served qyickly, and it consistently delicious. The wait staff are always super friendly.

Generally, I visit the Jax Beach location, but came to this one to meet friends visiting in town. My frittata was charred, and the service was subpar. I won't return to this location.

Cook skipped putting my order in oven so I had to wait a bit longer but it was still yummy and they gave me a discount.

I've gone to this location since it opened, you can order breakfast,lunch, or dinner at any time! The food is phenomenal! Waitresses and cooks are always available to help with a great attitude and smile. The best part is knowing you come in for a hot meal and leave with a warm, full belly and possibly leftovers because their portions are gigantic!

An overdue critique of the Metro Diner Baymeadows location. First time being at this location and much like the other locations, I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and our waiter, Larry, was outstanding! That being said, I was there with my friends for about an hour of dining when another friend joined us to eat. We waited patiently for our friend to finish her meal and we were enjoying some coffee and chat. Our waiter, being ever so polite, expressed to us that he was getting pressured for us to leave because they needed the table. I don't know about you but if I'm a paying customer, I don't enjoy the thought of being asked to leave. We were all very cognizant of how busy Metro Diner can become and I did not feel that we were being inconsiderate to incoming diners. We were merely waiting for our friend to finish with her meal. I consider it rude and of poor business practice. Hopefully, this critique may help you change Metro's algorithm of handling a busy Saturday.

Much better on return visit! Food and customer service was what I have come to expect it to be. In mho, the Baymeadows location is the best location, followed by Julington Creek.

This is the third time we have eaten at this location. Service is fast. Atmosphere is friendly. The first time we came here we were greeted at the door. There was no one there this time; however, the staff is welcoming.... from the the person seating us, to the waiter taking our order, to the kitchen staff bring our food. This place is very busy. They all worked well together as a team to make sure we were taken care of. We did not have our drinks refilled. Maybe because it was mid-afternoon and we only saw a few waitresses/waiter.
We ordered the chicken and waffles. The strawberry butter that comes with it is very tasty and delicious! The chicken was crispy on the outside and some pieces were dry on the inside. Not sure if it's because it was about 1:30 at this time and if the chicken had sat. The others ordered breakfast items. Each in the party said it was very good.

Overall a good experience and will come again. Aside from the dry fried chicken, our drinks not refilled once and some of the condiments were empty, overall the experience was good.

Had crab cakes benedict. Really cool spot, great staff.

Very good food for half our party. My dish was good. My son's was had a dried out biscuit, greasy cheese and cold egg- also brought to the table way later from the rest of the order. My husband's eggs were cooled off when delivered. The sausage gravy was very good Portions were quite large. We had more than enough to eat. Service was good.

It a was late in the evening 2 of 3 meals were pretty bad.

Had an awesome experience at Metro tonight with a very nice and incredibly attentive waiter, Bryan. The food was delicious as always and everyone was great. Thanks Metro @Baymeadows!

Poor service. my wife food came out food after a 45mins.

The chicken and waffles was so awesome. My husband loved the shrimp and grits with fried grits. They were amazing.

Always good food, no matter what I order. From chicken and waffles to patty melt, always leave with a full and happy belly.

My wife and I stopped here while traveling for lunch. The place was busy but we got seated right away. My wife has some allergies and the staff was wonderful in helping her out. They even made up a special tartar sauce without any ingredients she is allergic to. My lunch and her fish tasted great! If we are ever in the area again we will for sure stop here again.

Awesome server! He made it fun! The food was fresh, flavorful, and filling! Hefty portions for reasonable prices!

As mentioned in their tag line, "where the locals eat," they are true to their name. Service is always spot on, but make sure you get there early before breakfast or lunch rush. The cooks and wait staff are only human after all. The specials are always killer so make sure you look at what they have before ordering anything from the regular menu, although I would recommend the chicken and waffles to anyone the first time through!

Get here early, very busy place. Great food. Great service. Great variety.

Metro Diner is the place to go as a couple or a group. The menu is large and varied. Everyone can find something they will love here.

Metro is the place to eat good service friendly staff, fresh food n best of all they give u alot if food for ur money,

Very nice place to eat. It can get noise inside Staff is friendly too. But the best time to go here is Monday though Friday because Saturday and Sunday they are really busy

I have had heard great things about this diner however I must say I am extremely disappointed. I rated this diner with one star for the one star item on the menu- chicken and waffles. This was excellent! However anything else has zero flavor! I bought the steak and eggs and my steak tasted like pure pan! My grits were reminiscent of playdo and my scrambled eggs may has well have been fried. If your going to try this place stick with the chicken and waffles. You'll be wasting your money with anything else.

This is an awesome place to eat, great food, great service, and new specials all the time.

Excellent, friendly service. And consistently delicious food! Good portions and reasonable prices. We only recently moved to the area and have eaten here several times because it is seriously good eats! We will return with any of our out of town visitors.

Always have a good meal and great service there...a group of us ( 10) had a great lunch and our server was great. We were at the Metro Diner on Baymeadows.

Awesome for breakfast. Very reasonably priced and you will not leave hungry. The quality of the food is great too. The icing on the cake is how friendly the staff is. Was in Jax on a trip and ate breakfast here. Liked it so much, went back again the next morning. I'm sure it's good for lunch/dinner too, just from looking at their menu.

I've been to other metro diners and the service at this one was terrible and the food was just ok. It doesn't change how I feel about the chain(which is I love them) but I definitely wouldn't be in a rush to return to this location!

Overall ok. Nothing special, but it can be hit and miss at times with attitude at times.

Cheapest place you can ever image. Waiting outside and trying to get a coffee placed outside . Was stopped saying the coffee outside along the strip mall isle was only for paying customers. Cheap and cheap.

Loud music, open atmosphere, sort of college feel. Good food, breakfast anytime, greasey spoon kind of menu. Pretty good service. Good prices. Part of a big strip mall, free parking, in s busy area. Not busy while we were there.

The food at Metro Diner is amazing. It has a wide selection of breakfast choices. It was has to decide on one. I ended up getting the cinnamon raisin french toast which I would highly recommend. Great atmosphere and service. I would definitely come back again.

My friend got sick while at lunch and threw up in the bathroom from his hamburger. He kept saying the burger doesn't taste right. I had the turkey and it was very salty. I am a no return.

Awesome lunch with my friend Nicole. I ordered the signature plate of meatloaf & Nicole had the very tasty chicken pot pie. She said it was the best she had ever had & thanked me for treating her to lunch @ THE METRO DINER on Baymeadows !

We each got the avocado toast w/egg, but we could've split it because it was two pieces of toast per order! Great breakfast spot.
