Looking forward to a nice Father s Day.

Looking forward to a nice Father s Day.
So disappointed! Super rigid!
1. I asked to book a spa appoint while onsite. I asked for a tour of the facilities. They said no and referred me to the online videos. Wouldn t give me a tour or my family a tour.
2. Kicked us out of the pool. One of my kids was 20 and not 21. I get it but rigid?
3. Nobody here speaks English. Hola chica!
4. Shifty breakfast for $225. Cold, stale, and no service. Felt rushed. The dude brought my check 3 times as we were ordering more drinks. I asked him if he WANTED us to leave.

For $250/night you should get excellent service and spectacular rooms. You get neither. The room was nice but not much nicer than your average Marriott. The water pressure was terrible. Check in was at 4 so i arrived for a conference and had no where to get ready or freshen up before. Then the bell boy couldn't be found. Then i finally got a room at 5pm and the reservation desk lady pointed vaguely and said my room was over there. Then my key didn't work and the bell boy didn't find my room for another 45 min. The catering for the event was poor. . Not enough food, no announcements it was available. .. I'm not going to say the place is terrible. . Just not worth $250. Maybe $65

Lovely looking place but the staff was terrible and rude. Tried to call about some general questions and was redirected about three times and when I was finally able to talk to someone they were eager to rush me off the phone. Not worth the price.

The staff were exceptional. We had the best time there. The rooms were immaculate and cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable. The food was great. The grounds were beautiful. What more could you ask? We will definitely stay there again.

The Meritage is a beautiful resort. I was fortunate enough to be there for a conference for work. The staff was polite, rooms were comfortable, food was delicious (even served buffet and family style). There was a decent gym and even a little bowling alley. I especially loved that you could walk through the vineyard in the back of the hotel. It was beautiful and peaceful.

I went here and was extremely disappointed by how this place operates. The people that work here were friend and the food was descent. The Bar food as 3 out of 5... not special. I came here with 300 people for a conference and there was error after error. People getting the wrong bags to the room, food sent to the wrong room. I came back to my room at 7:30PM and my room still had not been clean and got the excuse of we haven t finish cleaning today.... seriously at 7:30 at night still not done that is really bad and I didn t see a cleaning cart anywhere on the floors. The best one was when someone walked into their room with rose peddles in the room calls down and as about it and the desk responses with they sent that to the wrong room but the champagne went to the right room. They did not send someone up to clean it up nor did house cleaning clean it up he following day. When we had our dinner outside they ran out of wine (remember they are in Napa), when processed to the bar, they were also out of wine. One thing after another. Walking into the place to start I was thinking it be a nice place to have a wedding, but totally change my mind over 6 days of being here. Need less to say I will not be returning here.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Meritage. Tiana was extremely helpful and passionate with her sales of the beautiful venue. Lisa, the catering manager was very friendly, and always willing to help us with questions or concerns. We got married in the vineyard deck, which was newly built in June 2013. The location is gorgeous, tucked in the on-site vineyards, with views of the rolling hills of Napa. Our reception was held in the Estate Wine Cave, which was a gorgeous venue. I highly recommend considering the Meritage for a Napa wedding. Many people tend to look at vineyards, but this resort had it all -- hotel, on-site vineyard, spa, entertainment rooms, bowling alley, and cafe on site!

We just go here for a company party every year, but the food is great and the place is kept clean. The staff seem helpful and when we lost an item (left in the bathroom), they were quick to track it down and we got it back! I can't speak for the rooms or anything else, but we are happy going here.

I came here with my team from work. I don't drink so I didn't taste any of the wine however the rooms were extremely big and very nice. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion they gave were very high quality as well! And I was so surprised that the food was actually good. We are breakfast lunch and dinner and I liked breakfast and lunch the best. Breakfast they had Chilaquiles and eggs and sausage along with many other choices that were really good. For lunch we had really good steak and chicken and tortellini and the tomato meat ball soup was the best part! (I came here with a team so we had catering from the hotel so we had many options to choose from but I don't think that there's a buffet normally. I would definitely come back. The hotel was beautiful, the amenities were extensive, and the food was really good

The rooms were updated but small. The customer service is hit or miss. Got horrible service from the guy handling the bowling alley at ultra lounge. There's insufficient parking near buildings 3 and 2. The resort is at the south end of Napa so expect to do some driving if you're planning on visiting any wineries.

Wow.

Wow.
2 Stars for the beauty of the resort and it's amenities. As this was the best part. 2 Swimming pool (clean), bowling alley and pool tables.
The Crush lounge's food (questionable!!) the worst stomach cramps post eating for the next 4 hours. DO NOT EAT HERE! The staff... bar and pub professionalism. Inattentive and unresponsive.
This lounge however has several tv screens for sports fans, and the bowling alley is here.
I stay in Borrdeux in the resort's BACCHUS suite. $800/a night. Upon entrance of the room itself... A doorbell for handicap service. (Noone in my party is handicapped)
Odd UNCOMFORTABLE "Murphy" bed... Chipped wood furniture everywhere.
Upstairs was spacious and beautiful. UNCOMFORTABLE couches unfortunatley, however this is where we spent most of our time. The kitchens refrigerator door was broken! Unstocked kitchen... no cups... no plates... I mean, really!!?
Apparently there was supposed to be a complimentary bottle of wine, and bottled water ( not in the room, had to call for it ) Was toldbreakfast was included, misinformation! $40/adult $19/child.
Shower somewhat spacious, but little to NO water pressure. Spacious bathroom with a double sink.
Contacted staff due to the problems encountered and what do you know.... due to my booking through Expedia, I COULDN'T BE HELPED! Whether I've booked through Meritage or a third party, on NYE and considering the amount of money I'm dishing out here, professionalism and the diligence to "WOW" a guest should be the highest priority. That's how you get return guests, and how "word of mouth" gets out. So disappointed. I'll enjoy the company of loved ones to kick off my new year, in hopes of getting some sleep, and leave this place ASAP tomorrow.

**Update 1/2/18
I had the pleasure of speaking with the Resort owner today. He expressed his apology after reading my review, and then going into the suite and acknowledged the truth of my concerns. I'm so thankful to have spoken with him, I only wish he was there during my stay. All is well, Meritage has redeemed themselves. I'm happy to consider giving the resort another chance the next stay I can in Napa.
Thank you again for you time, Craig.

I want to start this review by saying I typically ...

I want to start this review by saying I typically do not write reviews, yet this establishment was bad enough that I felt compelled to share my story in hopes this will help others to be more informed of this misleading establishment.

It was my girlfriend's birthday. I booked a room well in advance for a nice relaxing weekend for the two of us and a deserving spa getaway that was supposed to help both of us relax. When I booked a room, I also spoke with the head Concierge, Sharon Triste, about arranging champagne and flowers for our arrival, so that my girlfriend would get them when we checked in. The Head Concierge was very helpful and got my CC to arrange flowers and champagne with a local florist. After speaking with her, she informed me that the flowers would not be delivered until 2pm the day of our arrival. She continued with the reassurances that when the flowers arrived, they would be collected and put at the front desk with a bottle of champagne from in-room dining as I requested. She continued to say that if we arrived earlier than 2 pm, she would have them delivered to our room. I was more than satisfied with that arrangement and thanked her for all her help.

Day of arrival:
We drove into NAPA a little later than I had originally planned. I wanted to arrive after the 2 pm floral arrival time. I definitely wanted my girlfriend to be surprised. It was 4:30 pm when we pulled up, we were met with a barrage of employees (valets, bellmen) and they handled our needs of luggage and vehicles very efficiently. They grabbed our things and we walked into a minimally occupied lobby. There was about 3 guest being helped at the counter and 3 employees behind the counter standing around. The time waiting wasn't an absorbent amount of time, but standing there watching the employees it definitely felt like there was a lot of confusion amongst the employees but at the very least very unorganized. Finally, after standing there for about 5 minutes, a manager (Ricardo) asked us had we been helped. When he learned he had not, he whisked us up to an employee who was just standing at the desk doing nothing. She grabbed my identification and began the check-in process. While she was working, I asked Ricardo (Manager On Duty) about the floral arrangements and champagne that was assured to be waiting for us by 2 pm. Ricardo went to try and find the items in the back and the front desk employee continued checking us in. While we were waiting for Ricardo to come back, I asked the young lady if there were any rooms available that had a bathtub in them, as we do not have one at home and it would have been a nice luxury to have this item while on vacation. She informed me that they were totally booked and she had no availability for that request. (Remember this, it's important later) I thanked her for checking. After a few minutes, she finished checking us in. NOW, we are still waiting for MOD (Manager On Duty) to return with our flowers and champagne. The MOD returns to ask me my name again and to confirm if it might have been under another name and the heads off to the back again in search of my package. Finally, after 30 minutes with the bellman and my girlfriend just standing in the lobby...I told them to go ahead to the room and I will follow shortly. Finally, after still waiting on the MOD, I called the Head Concierge. I informed her of the situation and she met me in the lobby. When she arrived, the MOD (Ricardo) happen to be returning from the back and we all conversed in the lobby. Ricardo then informed me that the reason it was taking so long was that the florist didn't have a confirmation of a delivery for our check-in date, but for the following day. He informed me that had spoken with them and they would deliver an arrangement that evening and he would put it into our room after dinner. Not exactly how I wanted her to start her birthday weekend but sometimes things happen. SO much more, but cant put all here..go to trip advisor.

Stayed here this place had terrible customer service, beds were uncomfortable. If you have a question they never pick up the phone. I also left something in the room and I still have not received a call it's been two weeks. I would not stay here again and do not recommend.

Misleading information. This is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are sparse, poorly appointed, small closets and bathrooms. The sink didn't work when we arrinved, the keys didn't unlock our room. The quality of the bed/blankets/pillows/products is like a Holiday Inn. You must drive through an industrial park to get here, and the entire place feels like a corporate meeting place, not a lovely get away in Napa Valley. If you just come here for a meeting, its probably OK, but this is NOT a resort or a spa.

This is a beautiful resort that has so many amenities for both adults and children. We were so happy to see that the village was located just across the street. The prices are great for the luxury feel of this hotel. But truly it is the kind and accommodating staff that puts the cherry on top. THANK YOU for such a beautiful experience.
