Room is somewhat old... Resort facility was okay. Given its price, I expects something better.
Rooms are spacious, restaurants are tasty and staff is friendly. Could have been eligible for a 5 stars review to me. But : We've had issues with our key cards twice (in 24 hours) , the cleaning lady came exactly at the time we told the lobby was the least convenient. And the hotel has 2 pools with 2 hot tubs, one adult only and one for families. We have a baby but the hot tub wasn't working in the family area so we didn't go to the hot tub :(
So relaxing. Huge rooms and top of the line amenities. I can't wait to go back!
we were there for spa services and I really enjoyed my deep tissue massage. my only complaint was that the lighting in the vanity area was too dim for make-up touch-ups. I would recommend mirrors with lights. other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the spa.
Misleading information about the Spa. Prepare to pay 50$ if you want to use the steam room as guest. One of our room keys did not work so we could not get back into our room after using the pool. To make it worse there were no towels at the pool. Unable to adjust shower temperature in our room. The air conditioning vents were gross and did not have a filter on them! The doormen were lazy and not at all helpful. Our room was loud and you could hear people walking around in the room above us all evening and all AM. Avoid at all costs.
Great location, beautiful rooms and the shuttle to Downtown Napa is very convenient. The Spa staff was wonderful and we loved our massages. The Village across the street is nice but I wish they would allow you to take your wine outside to enjoy the weather.
Awesome resort. Great pool area, and a gorgeous vineyard with walking trails.
Nice resort atmosphere. Front desk staff were very, very nice and helpful during the stay. Food for room service was just OK and overpriced as you would expect. Ate breakfast at the coffee shop, Blend, where the food was better but still quite over priced. 2 coffees, 2 sandwiches = $45. They were very accommodating with our dog which was wonderful. If it was closer to other restaurant options or attractions we would consider staying again.
I visited the Spa Terra at The Meritage Resort for a relaxing day with my boyfriend. While it was quite expensive (220 for 80 minutes on a weekend), the premium for the experience using their jacuzzi and steam room before and after the massage is worthwhile. The other guests are respectful and it was a very relaxing experience. You can get cheaper massages elsewhere, but for a complete and immersive spa experience, I loved Spa Terra.
Really like this place. Not really fond of housekeeping but the rooms are very nice and they really do try to make your stay a pleasant one
My stay was very enjoyable. The setting is beautiful. The complimentary wine was excellent. The room was immaculate.
The place was very nice and extravagant, but definitely on the more expensive side. But hey, it's Napa so it's expected. But all in all, a cool experience
Great place for a weekend getaway. Lots of on site wine tasting options. Pet friendly. And very accessible location for people traveling from Bay area or Sacramento.
Loved our stay. Only wish the hotel would figure out their pool towels situation and wouldn't make their guest to work for it.
Beautiful place, and fun little bowling alley! We were there with a group and were well taken care of. Recommended for a fun night out!
Not a great place to have a Buisness conference the exbo room and the key more room are very disjointed.
Great venue for business social event. Food was good and staff was friendly and professional. Atmosphere for dinner/dance was very well received by all.
Ehh.... it s not as nice as we thought. We were there for 4 days and none of the days we were able to get a spa day. Which really upset me personally. I really wanted a massage and a facial. It s just a regular hotel. Nothing special about it as so ever. Seriously.
Nice resorts but not enough amenities for the price to justify it. It's big, has a lot of pools, a free shuttle to downtown. But again, not enough to justify the price tag. Try an AirBNB before this place.
Wow food was delicious service was awesome. Can t believe the manager even came up and made sure everything was going !!!
Very unfortunate the staff parks in the handicapped parking so real people that need to use it are unable to. 3 of 6 spots taken by people without handicap endorsements. Upon checking I was also informed there was 24 hour dining. We called and that was not the case and she never even called us back to give us a final answer so we had to go to McDonald's. This place is dirty not up to my expectations very disappointed.
Went to the Siena restaurant, food was great and the service outstanding! Great experience!
Check-in was quite late. Overall decent, but not worth the price.
My daughters wedding was magical at the Meritage. It was held only one week after the big fires but it was beautiful in the vineyards up the hill behind the Meritage. The wedding staff was spectacular from the beginning to end. The site was gorgeous, the reception was outdoors and the dinner was in the cave. The decorations were impeccably placed and the service was very professional and unobtrusive. The food was exquisite with short ribs and a dessert tray that ended everyone's wedding diet. Altogether a wonderful experience.
Nice resort hotel, needs food served at the pool area as well as coffee drinks.
Elegant! Has all you need! Enjoyed the adult pool.
We were very thankful for the special rate and wonderful service during the fires. My sister is handicapped and loved the handicap rooms. The fish tacos in the bar were awesome. What else could someone want?
All around great place. From wine to food. You can't go wrong with this place.
Gorgeous rooms, wonderful amenities, customer service could use some retraining
We stayed at Vino Bello. Room was lovely. Check in bumpy as our reservation was not accurate, but they worked to adjust it. The only family pool is behind this portion of the resort and parents had screaming children until 10 when the pool closed. There is an adult pool, but in the evening it was a walk to sit by the fire area. The one in Vino Bello was not an area we could go to as kids had food and garbage all around the fire pit.
There was no glassware allowed and this is wise, but there was none in the room as we went and bought some to comply. Many people had winw glasses and bottles in the area.
The bbq area was taken over everyday and families spread out in the area for the day. We were able to finallt get in at night. Suggest post signs to help encourage people to cook and then open the area up.
Parking was the worst i have ever seen it. Not sure why.
Many times we had to go to the front desk to straighten out room issues.
The resort responded nicely and it seemed fixed but somehow it just did not happen until almost our last day.
I hope that it will be better next time.
Clean rooms, great accommodations, friendly staff, outstanding customer service
Beautiful location. Awesome cave for private events. Can't beat a winery with a bowling alley
Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel is very far from my favorite Napa destinations. One additional down side is the size of the hotel; 700 rooms is massive and is inconsistent with a nice wine tasting weekend. Also, staff was pretty rude the last night we were there. Next time my wife and I will likely opt for something more intimate.
Great place and very well kept. Lots of things to do and activities
This hotel is not a 4 star. Not even close. The hotel did not check us in until 6pm. They told us to go to the bar and have a few comp'd drinks. When we get to bar, bartender looks at us like we're trying to get free drinks and sends us back to get vouchers to prove we can get free drinks. After waiting in line to get vouchers we finally just left to go to a different bar. The pool area can seat 50 people max and is tiny to say the least. The staff does not go through to clean out old towels, as such you have no idea if people are still using a chair. The staff is rude and unhelpful. When outside smoking a cigar they came and shut off all the fireplaces, at 10pm. Said we could remain outside as long as we were quiet. I'm surprised we didn't have to walk single file everywhere like school children too. The carpets outside the rooms are putrid. It might have been red at some point but it is currently a very pleasant shade of gray with spots of brown. Gross. The free valet is exactly that, you get what you pay for. It took the valet 40 minutes to get the car. Eventually, I just parked the car on the back side of the hotel and walked myself. Finally the location, and the hotel's description of it, is deceptive. It is not close to anything. If you get a room you will be looking at one of three things: the hotel parking lot, a business park and their parking lot, or the highway whose traffic is generally so bad it resembles a parking lot. To add insult to injury, they gave us a welcome packet, the day before we checked out. To be clear, incompetence, indifference, and an all around sub par experience are what you can expect here. Stay at your own risk.
Beautiful property with restaurants on site, pools games and activities. Rooms are beautiful.
We always enjoy our stay at Vino Bello. The rooms are elegant, spacious, and quite comfortable.
The experience here is awesome. Everyone has been spectacular.
Incredible accommodations. The owner is a very good man. Very well worth the stay
We are here because we had to evacuate our home. They have been so amazing, I feel at home and cared for. They sent up dog bowls and a dog bed for our pup. I AM SO APPRECIATIVE. Not to mention how kind the staff is and that they go out of their way to be helpful. The room is clean and beautiful. The grounds are clean and beautiful and you are right in the heart of Napa here.
It's all great! But the freshly squeezed juice tastes like minute made
Great location and wonderful, accommodating staff. Would recommend again!
Stayed a week here in the Merlot building. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, check-in/check-out was a breeze. The adult pool behind the Meritage had limited seating, but was very relaxing and had a great poolside menu. Parking on the resort can definitely be a challenge in the evening when everyone has returned to their rooms. During our stay here they were finishing construction an another building of theirs across the street, which our balcony was facing. This resulted in some unwanted noise in the morning.
Wonderful place for a couples get away. Great cocktails at the bar. Impressive spa services. Excellent food at the restaurant.
Really nice grounds and staff. Wyndham property so there's the upsell if you want to do the presentation. Some funny quirks with the construction of our room.
My bf got us a room and spa appointment here. Its a very upscale resort and spa. We had a room with a vineyards view from our balcony. The message we had was very good but the spa esp. in the women's locker room, jacuzzi and steam room was so loud and crowded, i almost felt like i was in a movie theater restroom! So its kind of a bummer because i was looking forward to some nice relaxing me time especially since it was my birthday. The lady in the front desk is very kind and sent a bottle of champagne to our room as a compliment for my birthday.
Food and drink menu ridiculously expensive. And the adult only pool was full of parents that brought their infants in the pool. Bleh.
Rooms were very nice and the amenities around the resort were good
Love the spa very nice the rooms are beautiful and the conseiairs are very helpful.
There is a fully functional Catholic Chapel with services!
Clean facilities, pleasant happy and respectful personnel.
What a rare find!
Nice property but in a very random business park at the southern end of Napa. A great deal of new construction going on across the street. Lobby is nice with lots of friendly and attentive staff.
We attended a conference that was held at The Meritage and it was beautiful! We will definitely go back for a personal trip. Located right in Napa, this is a great resort and close to everything.
Had lunch and drinks at Crush bar. It was amazing! Food was great, service was top notch, great music, bowling alley, fun for everyone!
Our timeshare membership makes this quiet, elegant vineyard resort affordable. Facilities and staff are fine, but the front desk and housekeeping rarely answer calls; phone the concierge instead. The under-construction expansion may make the site less cozy. We'll continue to return while it's comfortable.
Gorgeous place nestled in wine country-- what's not to love?? Well- appointed, friendly staff, fine ammenities.
Superb setting but just too close to the freeway in my opinion
Nice hotel at the very south end of the valley. I was here for a corporate event, seems like they have a lot of those.
I had a corporate event here for two days so I can't speak to the quality of the rooms but the wifi was good, the staff courteous, and the place looked lovely. There was issues with cell reception for quite a few of my coworkers and me, which may be a benefit if you are there relaxing but nerve wracking if you are trying to dial into a call for a different work location. Some of the bathroom stalls had strangely short doors but other ones were appropriate length
Gorgeous venue! All of the employees are very outgoing and helpful. The common areas have a very rustic feel and the food is well prepared and not typical hotel heat lamp food!
Amazing - best experience and service I've experienced in a very long time. We checked out the bar and decided we wanted a wider spread of food, so we headed over to Sienna - my husband really wanted the grilled cheese from the bar, and the server advised it wasn't on the menu at Sienna, but after my husband jokingly asked one more time, he made it happen, absolutely stunning concept, executed naturally and flawlessly - a concept lost these days.
The spa provided just the most amazing service, and it really was such a nice day relaxing and not having to worry about anything other than..nothing.
I ve now been here 3 times in January for the Social Media Conference. Always an amazing stay and I look forward to next years trip! Crush has a bowling alley - definitely a fun way to end your evening.
I love this hotel. Very serene and relaxing. The location is tad remote but there is a shuttle that takes you to DT.
