Service was rude room was nice restaurant and lounge were flooded and therefore completely unacceptable didn't offer room service at all might give them another try but not the top of my list

Fairly good hotel overall. Only "complaint" is the lightning in certain areas. The elevators are weirdly very dark inside and the halls to guest rooms are pretty dim too. Rooms are good though. Modern, good accommodations, walls aren't blank with nothing on them.
I loved this hotel! The location is great because you re right by the bay bridge so you can see the water from your window, and right across the street is an indoor market (Ferry Building Marketplace - Similar to Chelsea Market or Gansevoort Market in NYC) with all kinds of specialty foods and interesting things to look at and purchase.
The service was great, and I would definitely stay again.
Valet fills up with two cars so you're stuck in the street, bathroom has a decorative hole in the shower glass whose only purpose is to water the toilet while you shower, fridge was so full of mini bar liquor that it wouldn't shut and thus burned itself out, and $10 room service delivery.
Overall a nice hotel with good breakfast.. But some small things were off. The front desk staff that I delt with weren't as accommodating as expected for a hotel of this price. Small detail, but my room was overlooking the bridge but the window was so dirty I couldn't see anything. I should've complained but I didn't.. And now I'm that person writing it as a comment
Located steps from the ferry building, this boutique hotel is a relaxing, comfortable place to stay. Staff were unfailingly friendly and adept at anticipating our needs.
Lovely little hotel. High end experience, excellent service. Really appreciated 24x7 gym access and Y availability. Wish there were the little touches like a chocolate on the pillow. Wish room had a coffee maker. I need my morning brew when I'm getting ready. Valet parking but quite expensive, and it takes 20 minutes to get your car when yoi want to leave.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a work conference and was very impressed by it. It is located right across from the water and is a nice break from the hectic scene a few blocks away in the heart of downtown. Inside, the bedroom and bathroom were large and very nicely designed. My room had a great view of the water and Bay Bridge. The roof decks scattered throughout the hotel are a really creative design choice and allow for stunning city and bay views while relaxing outside. Every staff member I encountered was professional and friendly. The gym is small but they have free passes to the YMCA a block away, and that is a great place with everything you could need to workout. I d definitely recommend staying here.
Located on the pier, very central. Tasteful ambience. Friendly staff, room big and clean. Upper price segment, but highly recommended, even after several stays.
Great HH - Good atmosphere. Not a great place to meet new people.
Clean hotel but really overpriced given the rooms and decor which are quite dated. We were really underwhelmed by the experience but got the basics of what a hotel provides: a bed and a shower. Only selling points are the location and terrace otherwise I've stayed at much cheaper hotels with more sophisticated decor and amenities.
What a beautiful property! Great hospitality and a great view. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back. The property had a wonderful workout room. Attached are photos from the roof terrace
Didn't stay here. Stopped here to eat after giants game. Asked for ice water and got tepid water and no refills. Worst pesto ever and the beef in the street tacos tasted really weird so we couldn't finish. pork sliders were good.
The staff was very welcoming and eager to help. My room was spacious and came with some fun bonuses. Location was great... Right across the street from the pier. I had a great view of the bay bridge. I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn't hear my neighbors. Easter egg: Go find the button behind the Bose speaker... it's the little things.
Nice casual/relaxed hotel. The restaurant/pub Americano serves a great breakfast and the room service meal I ordered was also very good. The rooms with ocean view oversee the bay bridge and the hotel is very close to most amenities in the area.
Although marketed as a boutique hotel, it lacks charm and panache. Ok for business trips. Good location near the Ferry Building Market place. Avoid the overpriced sea view rooms unless you can get one on the 6th or 7th floors.
Here for a wedding. Its definitely boutique. Would never go there or want to if event wasnt held there. Very weird uncomfortable space.
Good food and a great place for drinks after work! I really commend the flat bread pizza
Love this place. Great location, excellent customer service, good food at the restaurant. Rooms are a bit small and pricey especially if you want a view but otherwise a super little hotel!
Quaint. Clean . Perfect if your looking for somewhere dog friendly. My dogs loved the small garden & quick walks to the beach . Yes, the rooms are small but perfect if you need an affordable place to lay your head while in the city
Not a luxury hotel ... good hotel well placed nevertheless
Favorite hotel in SF. Staff is outstanding, not overly obsequious. Rooms are great, particularly waterfront rooms. Convenient commute in and out os San Francisco and walkable to Union Square (12 mins walk) without being stuck in Union Square. Near a pile of excellent restaurants, and a great hotel to wake up in, and jog the hangover out on the embarcadero.
Speaking of hangovers, the bartenders make excellent cocktails..
Absolutely magnificent place we had a small problem with our room and they without further question upgraded us to a suite with a private terrace wonderful environment staff onsite bar and kitchen.
Great place with good personal service. Food was good too
I highly recommend this Hotel when staying in San Francisco
Friendly and accommodating staff. Went for my wife's birthday, and we got upgraded to a corner mini suite that has an in-room soaking tub with a great view of the Bay Bridge. Good location right on the Embarcadero, basically just down and across from the Ferry Building.
Excellent hotel in a prime spot, very upscale, and a lovely rooftop terrace
We stayed at the top floor suite overlooking the bay and it was amazing.
Great venue food. Great venue staff. Easy Uber/Lyft pick up
Great location. Had a nice view of the Bay Bridge. Great customer service.
just not great. Its clean, it looks nice, but really not a great hotel. to plug my phone charger in at the nightstand, I had to crawl on my hands and knees like a dog. The TV does not work. Neither room service nor the front desk would answer the room phone, so I had to call on my cell (they answered that right away). There was no coffee maker in the room. they sent one up, but did not send coffee filters with it!?! The water and coffee in the lobby seem to be perpetually empty. Basically, the place looks nice, but poor follow through in general.
We were greeted warmly from valet, reception, bar, rooom service and back again. Room service was quick and food very good. We had a beautiful view of Ferry Building and Bay Bridge with our room full of amenities and comfortable bed. The shower is large. Our only complaint is the weak lighting in bathroom. Staff was fun to talk Giants baseball with.
Had some drinks at the hotel bar after work, really nice outdoor bar. Enjoyed it very much!
Stopped in the bar and there was plenty of comfortable seating. The service was fast and attentive.
Hotel amenities are fine, but had to deal with annoying sounds (construction like sounds) that started early mornings and late evenings. I very much ranted to like this hotel, but am unlikely to visit it again. You can find better deals in this area.
Good location and that s about it. Upon entering my room and removing my shoes I stepped into a puddle in the bathroom and who knows what kind of liquid that was. I had to toss my socks. The staff is average which isn t a good thing considering how much you pay and the group it s part of.
Checked in early and got a room straight away which was a nice touch. Wifi was free which was refreshing! I didn't use the spa or gym facilities but I did go up to the roof terrace to enjoy the views both during the day and in the evening of the pier/ferry terminal and Bay Bridge. I love the location and easy walking distance to everything including the muni to Castro and Mission Districts.
The views Deluxe Panoramic Circular Suite were incredible and the suite was very luxurious
The room size is excellent and the view is beautiful
Very low quality hospitality. I would go for Hyatt or Hilton as a safe bet
Room was comfortable and service was professional. Good view of the waterfront from our room. Air conditioning in our room was broken, however.
Top notch hotel with equally top notch staff. A real treat! The soaking tub in our suite was the cherry on top!
One of the nicest places to stay in SF. Clean, well designed rooms and well placed for morning walks along the bay by the piers.
Decent private space for corporate event, but no view. Staff was cleaning up room before our party ended.
Great location, great service, but we were on the back side of the building, in a corner room and BOTH Windows had a view of a wall, terrible with such a great view of the water on the other side
Always a great stay, the restaurant was closed and there was no room service because of it (flooding) but the hotel is very nice...
Upscale place with awesome view from rooftop terrace.
The bar downstairs has great drinks and some of the best bartenders in the city.
The bar area was luxurious and the waitress was delightful!
Very centrally located on the pier, well-kept atmosphere, typical tourist hotel. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Room generous and clean. Priced in the upper segment. We recommend. For Marathonis: Only 200 m to the start and finish line!
Far from 5 stars, please don t believe any website which claims any more than 4 stars for this hotel. Cheated and disrespected. A room with nominal value of $809 is the same room that was $300 upon booking at the hotel at the front desk the night of the booking. I was on the losing end of that value chain. And treated poorly, and misguided in order to pay even more money to have the original booking.
This place sucks. You make a non refundandable reservation for a bay view. They didn't have any such room. The room they offered just looked at the ugly side of another building. They called it a "Cityscape". I said I wanted the bayview I paid for. No refund. No room.
Large, clean rooms with friendly staff. It's in a great location with easy access to so much
Beautiful views of Bay Bridge. Location is perfect.
Spent the evening on the roof with friends, very nice view of the bay and piera
Awesome place, awesome service, and I loved their sandalwood bath soap/lotion/shampoo!
Visited a friend here, staff and rooms are nice, but fairly overpriced.
I came in to visit my cousins and had a couple drinks and some snacks at the bar. The deviled eggs were killer, although pricey.
Nice location, clean large rooms, poor view if your on one half of the building.
Americano is still a solid option for Friday drinks
We stayed here four nights and loved the hotel. The location is outstanding.
Bartender was friendly enough and the drinks were good, would definitely check out staying here
Americano is under renovation but will continue to be a cool happy hour spot when it reopens.
