Great place to see those movies that you can't find anywhere else and support a local nonprofit at the same time. Add a membership for even great benefit.

Love this place never would of gone if it wasn't for the Rocky horror picture show after my first show here I've been going every time I can

Favorite theatre in town. Only place where I can enjoys my indie and foreign films.

Always so awesome here. Cheap. Clean. Great snacks. Epic movie selection.

I wanted to leave a couple of stars open for improvements. Specifically, its just that if your going to work in a service oriented field such as entertainment, be oriented thusly! Yes, one female cashier Staffer I experienced this nite can ruin your 1st visit.
That being said, this place is kinda cool. I rarely drink but they do serve beer and wine. Tamales n pizza too.
I got in for under 7 bucks as a Sr.
The seats aren't fancy lookin but once you sit down-they're comfy. Plenty of seats for any packed movies that may be shown here.
I will be back......

I love going to the loft to see movies, The staff is always nice, The drinks are cold and The Tamales are delicious!

They offer films not often shown at other theaters, but the new seats in the main theater are pretty danged uncomfortable

The Loft has been a wonderful part of Tucson for decades. My 8 year old and I enjoyed the summer free movies on Saturday, thank you Loft!

They're a little cheaper than Cinemark and the like, have nice refreshments, and good, clean theaters.

Beautiful, big theater! Seats were better than most Indie movie theaters.

The best and only place to see indie movies in Tucson. The theaters are large newly renovated, and they offer a good selection of snacks and drinks. Look out for special events they hold such as Stephen King Halloween movie marathons, live action Rocky Horror picture show, and special premieres with directors!

The Loft is a nonprofit cinema and was recently renovated. It is the Best!

The documentary of Indigenous runners very informative. Theater seats comfortable,popcorn good.

This place is amazing! I love the aesthetics of watching movies this way.

Every time I go to see Rocky Horror, this is the place. Good drinks, good food, and not even gouging prices.

If you're a fan of MST3K, The Loft's Mondo Monday is for you. Jeff introduces wonderfully bad movies which are then shown in their entirety with no censoring. Throughout the movie, the audience comments, cheers, laughs, boos, etc. It is great fun.

If that isn't your cup of tea, they also have sing-a-long events with some of the great musicals. These are complete with introductions by Jeff and costume contests.

They also show classic, cult classic, and independent movies. For some of these events they have guest appearances from actors and others associated with the movie being shown.

All in all, it is a wonderful place for movie buffs of all types.

Very nice theatre, newer seats very comfortable. The snack bar served adult beverages, they had sandwiches, popcorn, pizza and tamales + candy, something for everyone.

It's a old fashion theater, shows educational films, as well as old western movies, it's fun & cute there.. Its not my go to place as much, but it does get really busy so it's a lot of other people's place to go,, you have to try it

Gave me and my family popcorn a soda and a movie to enjoy at the theater. The movie was free so we only paid for the popcorn.

This wonderful theater is not just great because you're supporting locally owned, they have GMO Free Popcorn, fantastic film's, and other great refreshments

I enjoy the local influence of The Loft as well as the films that they bring to their patrons. It's great to drink a decent beer with popcorn flavored to one's liking.

Quirky staple of the community. Chill place to let your freak flag fly (or just witness other freak flags). Great venue for cult movies. Awesome organic popcorn and draught beer. Get there early if you want a good seat because the shows tend to sell out.

This is definitely a great place to see a movie. Wish it wasn't so far from me. But they've always got a good selection and they're always showing special events like older classics and or B type movies a few times a week. Great snack bar with beer. The employees are very nice! I will continue to keep going here whenever I can.

A great place to air your movie/video creation. The Host and Hostess are fun and entertaining.

Unique experience as far as a theater goes. Plays movies that are culturally relevant regardless of how old. Not a lot of space to move between isles.

Authentically retro. None of the cushy bells and whistles of the newer style theaters, but I found it fun and refreshingly different. They show interesting films that might not be shown elsewhere. Good spot.

Fun place to socialize with friends or family. Cool classic or Indy films, outdoor seating where you can drink your beer from the theater concession stand. Good eclectic fun.

It was clean, the emplyees were helpful and I tiik students to see a free screening of a Disney classic, nothing to complain about.

Always a treat to see movies at the loft! So glad this nonprofit venue has survived and continues to thrive.

A nice, cozy theater that has really fun events and NOT your run-of-the-mill films. Concession stand service is a bit slow, but good variety of drink and nibbles.

This is pretty much the only theatre I go to. Being a Loft is so worth it that I'll probably never not be one as long as I live here.

It was good, bathrooms were clean. Popcorn was fresh and it's nice to have beer and wine

I really liked the outdoor screening of The Blob. They made it a lot of fun!

My praises for The Loft Cinema, are quite lofty! The Loft Cinema hosts so many wonderful events, that are a staple to my schedule every year.

I am a huge fan of their Hocus Pocus event at Halloween, the Very Merry Holiday Singalong Spectacular at Christmas, the throwback movies in-between, and the over-the-top redonkulous Mondo Monday's. I mean haven't you always wanted to see a crummy movie and been able to yell out your comments and complaints audibly? Well here you can. Whenever I am at the Loft Cinema, it's never "just a movie". It's an experience, and I feel like I have found my people! It's a bit of what makes this wonderful city my home.

The Loft Cinema is a key part of the threshold of Tucson, and I hope you check it out, and/or return often!

So great! Proud to live in an area that has a solar powered movie theater with indie flicks and great events. Anxiously awaiting a day I can go in on Mondo Mondays.

A really cool place to see a classic. I don't know if it's always there but there was a Ramen truck that sold over priced but yummy Ramen. We were the last of some stragglers coming into the theatre and we thought they ran out of seats but it was just super hard to see. Next time we'll come super early as to not run into that issue again. Dont forget to buy some swag if this is your first time there. Always good to support a local business.

The theatre itself is fantastic! The movies they show and programs they offer are even better. The staff is super friendly, when you get them to pay attention. That's my only complaint. Today, there were 5 people standing behind the concession counter and it took almost 20 minutes to get a small soda, swedish fish, and pay. They kept getting distracted talking amongst themselves and on their phones. I was late to the movie and the only customer there. Also, I really wanted to get inside, I'd missed half of the film! They should have a discount on tickets if the movie is already halfway through. Most regular theaters do, but I was charged the full price. By the time I got inside there was only 51 minutes left and my soda was watered down from the ice melting since it took so long to get!

This is a great movie theater! On my trip to Tucson I stopped by here twice and had a good experience each time. Check this place out!

I think this place is too trendy for me. If you're going for just a movie, it's fine. They play old movies and cult classics, and host things like art shows, which makes it unique. The theaters themselves, in my experience, are average. Food is neither good or inexpensive.

Outstanding place to see up and coming movies. Love the have expanded and can offer more variety in movies. Great concessions and variety of beers. I also like they have good selection of wines.

Just LOVE the Loft and all it offers. Even have a year's membership and go fairly frequently. I especially love their SING-A-LONGS and personal appearances by special guests (saw Rita Moreno, Stacy Keach and Bruce Dern)! Great place!

Just visited for the first time and I really enjoyed the visit. Love the fact that it's a small theater and doesn't have the hype that the larger theaters have.

Clean, cozy, comfortable, and great selection of films. Very warm employees! But best was the prices!

New comfy seats and sound system, plus 70mm screen equals a marvelous movie experience. Although I've been here many, many times, we came to watch Dunkirk. WOW! Fantastic movie presented the way it was intended was 5-star movie watching experience.

I took my grandchildren to see Charlotte's Web. All of the staff and volunteers were so nice and helpful.

They were sold out by the time I got there. 2:10 for 2:30 show. They are popular I will say that for certain.

My best friend and I went to see The Lost Boys and it was such an amazing experience! The entire theater (INSIDE & OUT) is so beautiful! And every employee was so happy and helpful! I love this place! Thank you Loft Cinemas for such a great night. I'm coming back!

This place was amazing. I was here quite a few years ago. Staff is so much fun. Bohemian Rhapsody Sing a Long was awesome.
