Like the sofas and pillows down in front, they were very comfortable. The show went on as planned and all was well.

I love The Loft cinema. I go here often to see movies and I am also in the Rocky Horror cast that performs every third Saturday of the month. The Loft is a Tucson staple, and the staff are helpful and kind. Plus, they sell these friggin delicious tamales and have a good selection of other concessions.
We LOVE this theatre! Great folks and mind opening flicks!
The Loft is kind of magical. My friends and I regularly drive to Tucson from Phoenix just to come here. They ve got the best selection of films and things that can t be seen nearly anywhere else.
Plus, Scream-o-Rama, Mondo Monday s, The Lost Film Festival, on and on. The Loft doesn t disappoint. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes here.
All I can say is thank goodness for The Loft. You are a treasure in Tucson!
Classic films, excellent customer service! Keeping quality with the arts! Priced right!
If you enjoy crafty artsy films far from the main stream. You have to come here! There is always something good happening here! If you're a beer and wine fan, you can purchase to enjoy with your movie, and possibly pair your beverage with a gourmet bag of popcorn, or a gourmet bar of chocolate!
Wayyyyyy better theater than I thought it would be. So many cool events and they show movies and bring special guests to talk about them. It's incredible. Check it out, believe me.
One of the best indie cinemas in the country. If you're a tourist, check it out. If you're a local and can afford it, become a member.
I have been getting used tires in here for years the place is great
The only place in Tucson for art and indie movies. Food from local purveyors i.e. Tucson Tamale. Beer and wine! Knowledgeable and gracious staff.
The Loft Cinema is a great local theater. I love going for the classic films and wonderful atmosphere. My kids love going for the free kids movies and activities hosted there. It is always a good time for all.
Great community theater they always have something fun going on
Fun theater with old time movies, new low budget films, and more. Alcohol here isn't really worth the price for what you get. I'd recommend drinking before then bringing some snacks. Seating here is close together and not super comfy, but it's worth it. Overall cheap tickets and fun experience.
Love the loft. Especially Mondo Mondays and first Friday shorts.
A very cool venue showing a variety of films. The concessions are good and fairly priced (as far as movie theaters go). The theaters themselves are small but clean and modern. I know it isn't the loft's fault, but the clientele it attracts can often be less than desirable. Ive been to several screenings with people yelling out lines of the movie and being generally disruptive.
(I get it, youve seen Fight Club fifty times, just like everyone here.) I guess her selection of flea market tattoos or dozens of piercings weren't enough to get my attention.
My first visit to the Loft- I love it! Great sound, comfortable seats and great choice of upcoming films. I can't wait to come back!
Awesome movies and great snacks! Always love coming here
the BEST movie house in town! I love it!!
Berkeley in the desert!
Loved Ram Das' film Becoming Nobody. Very transformational! Please bring more spiritual films to the theater. So important in these decisive days in our world.
Thank you for making a difference.
The Loft offers an amazing variety of films. From featured directors, to mondo Monday's, to the longest running Rocky Horror Picture show, film festivals, community showings, live broadcasts, documentaries, dramas, comedies, there are a lot of options. There are free showings and free popcorn for members and membership is very affordable. The membership pays for itself with the free snacks, shows and ticket discounts, pretty fast. I am so glad we have the Loft cinema in our community. First Friday offers First Friday Shorts, community made films hosted by Max Cannon, that will surprise and amuse. The renovations will make this theatre amazing and make it comfortable for more people, and more accessible to those with wheelchairs and disabilities.
Not usually the movies you see at the mall. Great venue doing outstanding events! A true Tucson treasure!
The Loft is a Tucson treasure that sadly, many local Tucsonans take for granted. Where else can you grab local eats and drinks and watch the latest, cutting edge films. Not to mention their virtual reality experiences! Nowhere else but The Loft I tells ya.
I love this place! They show all best and worst movies. The staff is always super nice and the snacks and beverages are top tier. Definitely consider buying a membership here, you will not regret it.
Cool place to watch independant, foreign films and enjoy beer and pop corn!
Very neat cinema! Loved the outdoor viewing of Selena! Cute little place!
I love The Loft Cinema! They offer such great events and the staff are super nice.
Independent movie theater that offers a wide variety of programming and community events. Now showing features in 70mm, on the Panovision screen that is original to the theater. Also serving up beer, wine, and other tasty snacks at the concession stand. Definitely my favorite movie theater popcorn.
Tucson's best venue for the smaller arthouse films you might otherwise miss. If you go more than a few times in a year, consider becoming a member.
Has good movies but was too crowded when showing gun control clips
We took the kids here for a free movie during the hot summer. They have a kids summer movie series each year. They gave all of use free tickets, free popcorn and provided a free kids activity before the movie started. Also, they gave each of my kids a free comic book. The theater was nice, kinda of old school but cool nonetheless. I noticed that they sell draft craft beer - will have to come back for an adults night to enjoy that. This place oozes positive energy, all the workers were really nice and accommodating. We will be back to the wonderful Loft cinema in Tucson!!!
Great place on a rainy night. Smaller theater made for a more personal and cozy feel! And the popcorn was delish... was that real butter?
One of the last remaining art cinemas. A real diamond in the rough.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I am so proud to say that I went to Rocky Horror Picture Show when I was 16, many many moons ago, and was able to take my 16 year old son to the last showing. The actors were hilariously PERFECT and I can't wait to go again!!! Thank you Loft Cinema, and the local cool kids, for keeping this show alive all these years
I like the Loft because they do a great job showing old, good, little, foreign and low budget movies. Where else to see a Mondo movie (gag). I don't like the little upstairs theater, claustrophobic feeling.
Thank god there's at least one true art house theater in Tucson! Great independent films along with classics, singalongs, weekly Rocky Horror and other fun events.
Visited for my first time on 11/3/16 to watch The Trail Running Film Festival. The Show was great. The venue is cute. However, it was FREEZING in the theater. I was wearing jean pants and a sweater and was still freezing. I expected it to be cool, but that freaking cold is unacceptable. I know others felt the same way. Had the tickets not cost $20, I would have left, but 3.5 hrs is a long time to be that uncomfortable which is the reason for my rating. Will pass on the opportunity to revisit.
Clean and friendly theater. Very decent caliber of films.
Wonderful atmosphere! Friendly people! Great vibe! Classy venue for independent films! Thanks!
Went and saw a sing along version of the little mermaid. Both daughters had a blast. The theater had an Ariel cosplayer there for the kids and handed out noise makers and littler poppers to use during parts of the movie.
Great beer, great staff, great movies. What else do you need? Oh, a bag of popcorn? Yeah, they have that too. So happy to see Casa continuing and being so successful. Keep up the great work!
Great place to join lifelong learners who seek and FIND alternatives to mainstream entertainment consumption. Beer or Kombucha, popcorn or 70% cacao chocolate... ENJOY the whole experience.
Really fun place. I love the events and free member popcorn is the best.
Fun vibe. Nonprofit. Throwback movies and friendly staff. Saw Little Women and the whole theater was sniffling audibly when Meg died. Why does she have to die?
Two people talking and laughing throughout the whole movie today,Everybody Knows, they almost ruined it for everyone else. otherwise great theater and movies.
An awesome local theatre for the arts! They provide a wealth of creative opportunities to our community! And it's fun!
Best film.offerings on town. The Farewell was phenomenal!
I have attended the Loft since the early 90's. I like thei passion for good movies. They are very friendly and they kerp the theatre clean. They now seve beer and wine and this complements a great night out to the movies any night if tbe week.
Classic old school cinema perfect for true afficianados! Great selection of indie, documentary, cult classics and contemporary films
A great non main stream movie theater. Check listings as they have all kinds of films and events here. I like going to their First Friday Shorts event every month.
A comfortable theater with an interesting variety of movies and lectures. A true Tucson treasure.
Next time I go to the Loft, I will remember to take a jacket! I was trying to stay warm and would have enjoyed the show more if I wasn't so cold. Also, eat before you go, as the pickings are pretty slim.
Pretty cool idea play old movies. Very friendly staff
The offer popcorn, beer, wine, pizza and more. Comfortable seating and a great vibe!
It s Saturday 2pm, they are out of food except for the tamales, and those had pieces of plastic in it. Oh and no salsa either for the tamales.
Attended the showing of the"S" Word documentary. It was excellent.
What a treasure. The best place to see your favorite movie and new releases.
The best movies in Tucson are here. Great theaters ,happy environment, I always feel welcome here. Super staff!
Excellent independent films, great food selection, as well as beer and wine to enjoy with your movie. The Loft hosts film festivals, has weekly presentations of cult classics, classic B movies, and more. Members receive additional benefits, including discounts, free screenings, and a free popcorn at every movie.
The remodel on this place is quite nice, and the eclectic and diverse movies shown here are always worth the effort. Great independent theatre!
Great facility! Excellent selection of movies... excellent selection of beer snacks and wine! Extremely culturally relavent & necessary..
That being said..
HORRIBLE FRONT DESK SERVICE
HORRIBLE BARTENDING SERVICE
on both occasions these chics rolled their eyes when asking necessary questions for a new customer .. no matter how simple the question.. a CSR shouldn't role their eyes at a paying customer.
ESSPCIALLY ONE THAT TIPS!
They made me and my wife feel stupid, unwanted & disrespected.
Always a wonderful experience. Good food, brilliant think pieces and an awesome vibe!
The remodeled main theater is really a boost in viewing! Thanks.
Nice new, comfortable seats. Popcorn was greasy with butter, but not enough salt.
Been going to the Loft since the 70's. As a member I support them to continue bring obscure films to Tucson.
Fantastic. Ordwred yhe Zen burger was delicious. Waot sevice is great and happy.
Love old style theaters! The Loft did not disappoint. Beers, snacks, comfy seating, and a nice screen to round it up!
Overpriced concessions, pizza was old. I guess this isn't my kind of place....most of the movies are indecent. Staff was friendly enough.
