The owner took his mask off his face, wiped his nose with his hands and then continued to handle our food. He refused to give us the money back when we pointed this out. Even if this was not a global pandemic it is terribly unhygienic but during times like these you must be much more vigilant. Please avoid this place for the safety and health of you and your family.

Food is good.
Coffee is good.
Service sucked.

I always enjoy everytime I came here. The owner and his family are amazing people. I can't say it was bad experience ever. Drinks were always great, food always delicious. They have these amazing cheese balls, like a pull apart bread. You gotta try it! Always sanitary when I go, always friendly. You will never get that kind of service at a Starbucks or Tim Hortons.

Great coffee and the guy that runs it is so sweet. I stop in all the time time for a coffee after work.

Great coffee, but the kind service is what really keeps me coming back. The staff is always nice and smiling. Thank you for making Mondays brighter :)

Extremely rude owner and unsanitary establishment, masks are not an accessory to appease the public they are a necessary for the safety of the community. Definitely won't be revisiting and would advise anyone to go anywhere else at the market. Thankfully there are alternative options!

Stay away from "market blend" (dark/mild coffee). What I got it tasted like some blend of the mild coffee with water.

I have been a customer at this (and previously the Library) location for a few years now. Given the state of traffic for downtown businesses I make it a point to have lunch here at least once a week now. My experiences have always been positive with both Raf the owner and all the staff. Good quality ingredients in prepared on site meals and baked goods from other vendors locally. It's a bit like the "Cheers" of the market coffee and lunch kiosks as you become known and appreciated quite quickly as a repeat customer. Lot's of different roasts on offer and quite a good Turkish coffee to boot. Worth a lunch stop if you are nearby or make a trip downtown and enjoy the vibe of the market and area.

Best grilled cheese and omelette ever, with the complimentary cookies which were on the house.

Terrible attitude from this location's owner. I asked for a small coffee in a medium cup, as I like to put a little more milk in my coffee. He advised he would have to charge me for a medium coffee. After the brief back and forth I was able to let him know I only wanted a small sized coffee in a medium cup. His response was, "you're going to put a little more milk in right?" I confirmed. His response was "well, milk and cream cost money don't they?". Seriously man? I went to Hasbeans ten feet away where they were friendly and more than happy to accommodate a reasonable request. No need to say should have gone there first. I wish I could leave no stars here.

I was looking through the pastry display on the counter and trying to see if they had any poundcake slices left under the banana bread, when the cashier snapped at me. Their food is very good and their prices are competitive, but this is the second time I've gone there and had a rude cashier. I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day or if he's unaccustomed to workplace expectations in Ontario, but I won't be going back.

Ordered a macchiato got a mocha, asked for a macchiato when I got the incorrect drink, guy said that I said it wrong... Got the correct drink and the shots were terribly burnt. Threw it out, won't be going back.

This is a cute little part of the market. Food is simple but it's kinda what you need when spending some time in the market! I forgot to take pictures of the food. Honestly it was nothing fancy but it's a family working to make a living and they bring your food to the little table you picked out. I don't live in the area but i would stop in again if I was ever back at this market. It's good to fill that tummy!

The best place for a quick bite before work . Healthy and a quick service . The Reuben sandwich was insane . French vanilla was amazing .

I watched in horror as the owner removed his mask, wiped his nose with his bare hand then reached into a bag of chips and put them with our food. Covid aside that s gross. I get people do this type of thing without thinking, the way he dealt with it is my problem. Rather than apologize and refund the food as requested he proceeded to argue with the gentleman who purchased the food, refusing to offer a refund or acknowledge any wrong doing. This is not customer service. Shame on you.

Ordered a Chai Latte....it was overwhelmingly sweet when I tasted it and I asked if he put sugar in it, he said, "that's how it comes"....waste of $4.20. Def will NOT be supporting this business ever!
