Very nice hotel, good size rooms, very large bathroom. Staff were all very friendly, on site dining was good. Would stay again.

Schedule a room with a lake view, the moon over the lake from your balcony is spectacular

Really great experience. I loved the atmosphere, the staff were all friendly, and lots of cool things to do!

Happen to stay here in March'18 for couple of nights and overall it was good experience. Booked it through Expedia and upon arrival I did ask for complimentary upgrade if any but unfortunately they were not having any and they did offer junior suite for additional charge.
Staff was supportive and they did took care of the cake that I brought with us. Rooms are like new and clean and well maintained so new issues with rooms. This place has restaurant on site and serves breakfast buffet for $18 per head charged to room. ( I was double charged and glad that I looked at invoice and they did took it off).
Lake and beach is at walkable distance and you will need a ride to access other onsite attractions. Only negative or rather inconvenient thing is the parking lot which is little bit away from entrance and it was overcrowded at our stay.
Though we booked through Expedia, Garden admission was included and also they gave $10 activity credit. Overall a very good experience.

There were carpet stains on the floor, the towels were stained, and the room could use a good general touch-up.

In Pine Mountain for a quick business trip. Stayed in a JR Suite. Absolutely loved it. The soaking tub was worth the upgrade. Comfortable beds. Great linens. Staff was beyond helpful. Definitely recommend.

Originally booked a room at the Mountain Creek Inn and upgraded to The Lodge; great decision.

Cozy lodgings but the staff was I'll prepared for our conference...didnt have enough chairs.

We booked our stay at the Lodge but when we arrived we were informed that our reservation was at a sister hotel down the road. We thought ok maybe we screwed up in the planning so went to the other hotel. Omg what a dump .No refrigerator, toilet paper and $214 a night .Got to checking deeper and found out from several employees that for the last 3 week's they have been booked 30% over. I confronted them and informed them this is bait and switch. The manager at the other hotel agreed, pulled some strings and got us in a suit at the Lodge and even gave us champagne. They got busted.

A group of four had a wonderful time y'all just need to paint the streets red that way we can follow the maps easier but after 2 days of being here we finally got where we needed to go see y'all soon enjoyed every minute of this place

The Lodge was absolutely wonderful. Although the hotel was under renovation, it still looked exceptional. I would definitely recommend staying here while at the Gardens.

This place is just awesome. Awesome service, complimentary stuff, etc. The views are BEYOND BEAUTIFUL.

Love Calloway but would really like to see their culinary expansion

Overpriced food in the restaurant. Christmas decorations were beautiful.

Lodge was great but the food was not so great. The cabins were good, obvious wear and tear but still good. Beautiful grounds and great golf courses!

The entire lodge and spa area is beautiful. The rooms and common areas are clean and the staff is very polite and courteous.

Parking area needs work before someone gets injured. Staff pleasant however. My dining in the Piedmont was pleasant a for the staff. However, the food quality could use some work.

Calloway Gardens just bought the hotel back from Marriott and you can tell there is a big difference in customer service and not for the better. The gardens are nice but I recommend that you do NOT stay at this hotel.

We didn't stay here, but we ate at the Piedmont and walked the grounds. This place is rather beautiful with a nice fountain and garden, and the food was pretty good all-round. Service was also good. Ask for Glenda.

Still a fun place for the family. A bit pricey though. Nothing close by as far as a place to dine. Once there, you pretty much have to eat there. Technologically they're a bit dated. Hard wire for a laptop didn't work. Wireless got pretty slow at night. Kids loved the beach and swimming.

We have been coming to this resort for years for my Husband's birthday. Always loved the lodge with it's privacy beach. Memorial Day weekend we were not informed that the beach would be closed for the Master's activities and once we got settled we were told we would have to go to the public area. Why were we not told this when booking reservations? Also why would they charge $350 a night but limit access to their beach area as that is one of the top selling points?
Save your money and book an all inclusive trip! It's not worth the money and Management did absolutely nothing to accommodate.

Mighty opulent dining hall with very welcoming staff members and delicious food service.

Horrible customer service. Waited 3.5 hours for my room. No one communicated that the housekeepers were behind schedule so I sat and waited in the lobby. Finally spoke to a Manager who said I should have been given option to have the hotel hold my bags and I could have explored the gardens while I waited for a room. People who checked in after me received rooms before me. Manager discounted my room but I don't intend on returning

Location was very nice and staff extremely friendly. Met all of my needs. Area was beautiful and my family really enjoyed the butterfly exhibit. Food was good. Did not try restaurants on property which I imagine would be better.

Absolutely faaaaaaabulous! Truly 5-star service from the moment you walk in! The massage was fantastic and I so enjoyed the sauna and steam room. Afterwards, a nice refreshing shower! Couldn't ask for a greater way to celebrate my birthday!

This is a very lovely Resort with tasty food. We arrived quite late on Friday and had to eat at the bar, but really, the bad cover music was sooo loud the servers couldn't actually hear us even though they were very charming and helpful and finally found some place outside the bar where we could sit.
Lovely outside seating area, but everyone out there was smoking cigars, which was undesirable for the non-smokers.

Wonderful meeting place. Great service, great space. Great food. Would recommend.

My first time at a spa and I wasn't excited about it but I left feeling like a new man. Would recommend it to anyone trying to unwind

I've been here many times and never disappointed. Rooms, property and food are excellent.

We came here for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Only because the room and grounds are so beautiful will I give it 2 stars. Highly disappointed in the staff as a whole. The customer service, well lack thereof is pathetic. We had dinner at one of the restaurants on site where we saw our waitress a total of 2 times the whole time we dined. Food buffet was good but service is terrible. We later ordered a late night snack from room service only part of the order was delivered and the hamburger was still RAW!! Highly disappointed in the service we received here especially for the price. Could get better service at the holiday inn.

I stayed here for a work event. The room was comfortable and the grounds were amazing. The employees were professional and courteous. The food provided during the training was also great. The only negative thing I can think of is that I could not stay longer. I am looking forward to my next trip.

Nice place especially during social distancing. My family and I was only here for 1 overnight stay on a Monday so we didn't get to experience all that the resort has to offer. Beautiful grounds. Our room was decent I wish it was a little more upgraded we did notice some stains in the carpet and on the furniture but the bathroom was really nicely updated the beds were a little too firm for my liking. We had a beautiful view of the lake and pool area on nice patio. The lake was nice and it was private so my son and I were the only ones at the time swimming in the vicinity of the private lake you can't beat that in late july. If you want you can walk further down to where they have all the water sports and fun rentals just a short walk away where the public part of the lake is it was a little more crowded but not to bad. The pool was nice not crowded I just wish the pool side bar was open I was told it is only open on weekends. We dined at the Piedmont restaurant the food was good and reasonable. All staff were really nice and helpful also the other guest were kind and respectful of social distancing. I would definitely come back with my family and do more of the many fun activities that they have to offer.

Clean spacious, updated rooms. Even the ones on the parking lot side had a decent view. Room service available.

Stayed here during the US waterski masters. Despite some initial issues with over booking our room, the team sorted myself and my colleague out and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The bar was great and the staff were super friendly and meeting and chatting with the local Padre who frequents the bar was a real highlight. The buffet breakfast was a little pricey but was willing to give it a go to experience some southern hospitality. Looking forward to next year!

Room was nice. Liked the inclusion of separate bathtub and shower(easier with kids). Two 12 oz bottles of water included.

Loved the location. For me it was less than a two hour drive. Pool, beach, and butterfly garden for myself and the kids was amazing. Must visit again.

Nice enough place. Pretty bummed the steam room has such limited hours. Only 9 to 5pm.

Beautiful place!!!!! It's so quiet and serene. Perfect place to celebrate my birthday. I came to see Fantasy In Lights and was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations!! Larry, the bellsman, was the best!! Very friendly. You can tell he loves his job! Customer service st it's finest!!

I can't say enough good things about the employees, the accommodations, & the grounds. The only negative aspect is the food, even the junk food is priced way over the top. The smiles on the children's faces make it all worthwhile.

They have updated the hotel since the switch from being a collection Marriott hotel. Still needs some work at the hospitality front desk. Kyle, blonde, blue eyed, young man, was not as nice to people of color than the other guests that I saw him work with. I definitely would suggest ethnicity classes for staff. I been coming for over 20 years now and never had someone behave in such a manor. I could make a big mess about it, but I am not.

World class hotel situated inside beautiful Callaway Gardens.

On 9.19.92 we came here on our honeymoon. We have been coming back every 3 to 4 years since then. This is our 25th anniversary. Can't imagine spending it anywhere else. As Always the staff and gardens are excellent. My Thanks to everyone.

Welcome to the good old south! Racist staff indeed. ( a few gems here of course, but their not in management) Don't be a minority and expect exemplary service. (Was this the place Obama was refused a round of golf?) Simple courtesy??It is not to be found here. Opted 1 star because 0 is not an option.

Enjoyed the beautiful upgraded accomodations tremendously and food was a little too expensive but very good.

When we arrive at The Lodge and Spa on June 14 I was told that the A/C was out in all of the guest rooms and hoped to have it working by the end of the day. They offered to send a box fan to our room which we gladly accepted. I asked why did they not call me ahead of time that the A/C was out and given a choice to reschedule, cancel or come on. It seems the A/C had been out before the day we arrived. The clerk did not even answer the question I had asked just told me they could send a second fan to our room. When we left the next day after a hot and miserable night it was still not working. I called front desk and asked about a luggage cart and clerk told me she would let them know. Called back after approx. 1 hour and she said she would call again. We just gave up and took luggage ourselves. Saw bellmen on the way to the car and he had not even been told to go to our room. He did offer several times to help us to the car however the car was only a few steps away. I have emailed them several times since I got home and have heard nothing from them. Today I have tried several times to call them and finally got an answer however when I told her what I was calling about the clerk hung up on me. She did call be back sometime later and told me one of the managers would call me. So far no word from them. I noticed two reviews said they were given discounts but we were not offered anything.

Took a weekend trip to Callaway Gardens. The lodge is an upscale property. Great service. Has a pool and whirlpool available. Extensive walking trails. Good value.

Spacious, and clean rooms ! About a 10 min walk to the lake. Depending on which room you stay in you can actually see the lake from your balcony. Everyone was nice ! I enjoyed my stay ! Can't wait to go back.

The location is nice. The rooms are clean. They are renovating the lodge so when it is finished then it should be much nicer. The service has been great

Clean and quiet. Food is decent. Nice staff. But the beach is not impressive, just a man made beach.
