The Lodge and Spa at Calloway Gardens is a beautiful place and is very relaxing. It is a great place for weddings, honeymoons, reconnecting or a family get away to enjoy nature. The rooms are clean and very inviting. Each room has a balcony with seating; however, there aren't microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms (at least not the ones we've had there). The food in the dining hall is great. The serve is wonderful and everyone is curtious. There is close access to the gardens and other activities to include the beach and park areas. This time of year is beautiful as they have various types of trees that capture the foliage of changing leaves.

The Lodge at Callaway Gardens is a classy hotel located in the pines of Pine Mountain. It has all the amenities you'd expect in a 5 star hotel and resort. Rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. Food was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. We went for the Christmas lights and loved the trip. Only one thing wish they would have softer, less full pillows.

Callaway Gardens is equated with nature, peace, an...

Callaway Gardens is equated with nature, peace, and serenity. The gardens and dining in the Piedmont lives up that expectation. Somewhere along the way some of the staff at Callaway has forgotten that they are not just selling rooms and attractions, they are selling a customer experience. In that regard the staff at the Lodge and Spa failed miserably. The lobby was filled with people and room assignments were chaotic. In my case I waited an hour and 20 minutes for a room and was twice offered a room that was already occupied. Mind you, I had a reservation 2 months out and had confirmed my impending arrival three times a week before my arrival to include the day of arrival. To add insult to the situation the manager never apologized nor offered any concession for such gross incompetence and inconvenience.

Fantasy in Lights was equally disorganized to gain access to. The website for Callaway Gardens is totally an inept waste. You can purchase your ticket, however, no e-ticket is forwarded to you. Resultantly you must line up in lengthy traffic to park, then walk to a will call office to receive your ticket to drive your vehicle through Fantasy in Lights.

Callaway Gardens has been around too long to not have command of increased holiday traffic. Those inefficient displays of horrible customer service are unforgivable. What should have been a relaxed and magical getaway for the holidays was a frustrating and infuriating ordeal. The room in the Lodge didn't even have a hook to hang a bath robe. I think Callaway Gardens needs to regroup and develop a customer centered experience if they expect a return visit.

Wanted to do something crazy for a weekend so I came to a jazz brunch and tasting. Just wow. Absolutely fun time. Vendors from all over set up to taste wine and spirit samples. The food was amazing. Of course there was a great view!

Ate only in the Cason Tap located in the lodge. Had a chicken breast sandwich and a club soda. Live music on a Saturday night. It was a good experience. Clean bathroom in the Piedmont Room next door.

Gorgeous view. Fun family experience, fishing, paddle boating, putt putt, swimming, FREE circus, and beautiful gardens. Clean rooms, quiet pool. They are working between lodge and Robin Lake, but it wasn't annoying. Only complaint was having to call to get room serviced one day, and missing seafood buffet because we didn't have reservations.

Check-in staff we short and rude. We never received the champagne we paid for, and room cleaners came by to kick us out of our room at 9am before we even got our room service. What a joke for the money we paid!

3/5 stars. We stayed over the New Year s Eve to celebrate my wife s birthday on New Year s Day. The attractions were great and my wife enjoyed the cozy feel of the lodge and spa. I called a few days in advance to confirm my online reservation and ask for flowers to be placed in the room upon our arrival as a surprise for my wife s birthday. I have done this multiple times before at other hotels with no problem. After arriving, I noticed no flowers and kindly mentioned it to the front desk. They were unapologetic and offered no solutions to remedy this shortcoming. The front desk associate actually told me we don t have flowers to put in the rooms here ... at the lodge and spa... at Callaway GARDENS... no flowers... at an attraction specifically FOR flowers... other than the lack of service the facility itself was fine.

Plenty of out door activities:enough to keep whole family occupied. Dining was casual dress and not a great selection of food. One side menu at both Piedmont and Casons. Very limited. Expect to spend alot of money here. A ribeye will put you back $34, a mixed drink $ 11, A bike ride $40 plus $5 for helmet for just one day. Stayed on 4th floor of hotel. Neighbors we're smoking Marijuana and arguing loud. Felt like I was staying at a motel 6. Reported to staff. Nothing changed. Not what you expect when you pay $300+ a night.
Did enjoy all the outdoor adventures. Peaceful and enjoyable. In doors nit so much.
Would give hotel one more chance before I make a final decision to never come back.

I have been at the Lodge and Spa since yesterday and I am very much enjoying my experience and the hospitality. The grounds are so beautiful!! I will definitely recommend the place to my friends. I do need to make a suggestion to the management. There are so many windows that allow the guests to look out at the beautiful grounds, but they are so dirty!! I have seen maybe one or two actually clean windows. The lobby especially needs a good wipe down. The high windows in the lobby were covered with stains and spider webs. Marriott may want to consider hiring some window washers at least monthly to help keep them clean. The dirty windows has really been a turn off from the beauty inside and out at this location, and I wouldn't be surprised if its a deal breaker for future guests.

Decided on a weekend getaway for rest & relaxation, there were multiple events taking place this weekend, I was very disappointed with our room location which was located at the very end of the hallway, directly across from the storage & stairs, and outdoor view of the trash dumpsters, not exactly how I anticipated a weekend getaway, especially for the price. Best part of the weekend getaway was the Spa, great experience to start your day off right, as well as the best part for a weekend getaway.

Such and amazing experience we stayed here and it was the best option what a awesome weekend, the workers are super helpful and they made us fell welcome. The place was so pretty and clean, we enjoyed and relax in our stay.
They have such a nice restaurant not expensive at all and the food was awesome! It s a buffet but you feel in a fancy restaurant cuz the attention and the place it s just awesome.
There is a bar next to the restaurant that play live music Saturday nights we enjoyed a lot!
