We love this hotel. We come down here every November and the only time we dont stay here is when it is booked. Friendly front desk and housekeeping. Lots of indoor pools and hot tubs.

I booked a suite on Nov 8th -10 and I have a registered service Dog and was denied.you can not deny a Service animal.so I took a chance on going with out her.And most of my time was spent in my room I went downstairs to speak with someone about this and was told I could have my Dog.but at that point my Brother was on his way to stay with me. Not only was I denied my Dog I had to be moved 3 times Roaches in my room I went from 342 too 642 too 742 before I got a room that was okay for a few days. I will never stay here again. The staff is great.I thank God when I got sick someone was with me.

Room was fine. The snack bar had issues. Customer service was bad. Open sign was on so my kid went in to get a drink and they told him it was closed. The open sign stayed on for a while after that. Next day, same kid went to get a drink at about 4p and they said they didn't have change for a $20 and sent him away. The girl at the tiki bar made it right, but my shy kid tried twice at the same place and got turned away. Otherwise, we've enjoyed our stay

If you are looking for a party hotel, this is the place. We, as a church conference were not ready for the halls that smelled like marijuana, and people hanging out in front drinking beer. Very disappointed from the time we walked in to find long lines, and less than professional staff. The rooms were not bad at all, but air did not work well. Just not my idea of a good time!

Rooms are smaller than advertised. Elevator service commonly down for repair or very slow.

I have read through the reviews and am shocked. I have friends that try to come here for their anniversary every year and they love it. At the last minute in May of 2008 we met them and got a room for the weekend. The only rooms left were ocean view deluxe suites. It was very nice, A full kitchen with a seperate TV room that had a balcony facing the ocean. We travel a lot with our job as telecommunication specialists for department stores so we stay in a LOT of hotels. Most of the time we stay in extended stays that have a kitchenette. This place is more like an extended stay but with pools. The room was nice and clean, not spotless. I dont expect any hotel room to be spotless so I have my own cleaning supplies and always do a quick spray down and wipe up of the room before unpacking. Get real people its a room where many other people have stayed and cleaning ladies do not get paid a ton of money or get enough time to get rooms sparkling clean. I saw a picture on trip advisor of some wallpaper peeling of the wall a little, personally I dont mind wall paper peeling as much as I do paying a fortune for a weekend getaway. The reviewer said it was like staying in the projects...obviously they have never been to the projects if they are complaining about a scuffed table or a tiny chip in the counter. If you are searching only for reasons to not like this place then you will probably find some. This is a nice affordable place to stay, they always have some kind of special deals. Sadly I did not take any room pictures during our stay but I plan on taking plenty next time and updating this review after our next stay.

I love this place. Ive stayed here many times over the past 20 years and i have never been disappointed. Staff is always friendly. Need extra towels or coffee? Call housekeeping and they bring it to you. Its close to so much on the south end. Im not a pool person but my daughter always loved their pools.

Nice rooms but the hallways and elevators need some work. Overall a very good stay.

This stay has been fantastic. The amount of pools and jacuzzis they have is a huge plus, and being right by the beach for such a low price is something I never thought I would see. It definitely doesn't look like a cheap place!

Elevators out of order. Got a parking ticket bc I was not advised of parking in the second row of the parking and was told that they could not control what the city does about parking. I usually stay here through out the year but this will be our last time staying.

It was good but it had roaches so that wasnt good the service was very nice everyone is very helpful

Really nice place, very friendly staff. Having a parking garage is very convenient. It is in a good location for the beach and walking distance to anything you need. My only problem with the place is they water down their alcohol at the inside restaurant not sure about the outside bar. My wife bought three shots of grey goose brought them back to the room and put them in the freezer and they froze solid.

It's a really nice place to bring your family. The staff and housekeepers are real friendly. The local food stands are a little pricey and the elevator by the pool side, makes you wait 5 to 10 mins sometimes, just to use. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. We may come back again.

We have been staying at the landmark for over 10 years. We love it here and the kids love the indoor pools.

This place is absolutely trash and garbage. DO NOT STAY HERE. If I could rate 0 stars I would. The staff treats you as if you're stupid. They have the people who speak and understand no English at the front. The power went out. The water stopped working. On multiple occasions my families bags were rummaged through. Thankfully nothing went missing. The pools are disgusting, I found toilet paper in both the pool and the hot tubs. They had lights out on every hallway for almost the entirety I was here. All of the ice machines and drink machines leak everywhere. They change sheets every 3 days regardless of checkouts and check in. They don't do a good job at cleaning. There was sand on my balcony the entire time I was here. I asked for sheets and the house keeping just walked out and never came back with it. They are absolutely trash. Put them out of business and send a health inspector here. In all seriousness if I didn't stay out of my room as often as I did my time in myrtle beach probably would have been ruined.

When we arrived our room was already ready so no wait. Our room we clean, nice size and the view was beautiful. It had several pools and hot tubs for everyone. Amazing! It's kid friendly and free putt putt golf. What I didn't like was the mildew hallways and water bugs. I seen white mold on one of the waterfalls at putt putt golf. I tried to call for room service and I was connected to laundry. I had no menus in the room for the restaurants in the hotel. I had to request a "Do not disturb" sign for my room which one should already be in the room. This hotel needs some TLC but had a enjoyable stay. I'll revisit a year or two from now to see if it improved.

This place is great for the money. The staff was helpful, the room was clean and the pool was amazing.

Pools were pretty gross. Especially the indoor ones. Rooms were ok. The hotel staff was very nice. I stayed there the previous year and it was much better. I don't know what happened.

The room was nice and I loved being so close to the beach. Will definitely be coming back.

First room I checked into had no power. Second room I checked into had no hot water in the morning when I woke up. I have stayed here on and off for work reasons for years. I even stayed here as a high school student myself. The rooms are in need of updating. The pools are fine but they have sections of the pool area roped off and inaccessible as well. It s been past due for an update for a long time now.

We stayed in what was billed as an Angle Executive King Suite at a cost of $123.15 per night; 4 night booking from 10/12/17 10/16/17. We d read many reviews and chalked up the poor reviews to something akin to you just can t make everybody happy. Boy, were we wrong. Heed the poor reviews! Our room number was 1546 and it truly felt like tenement housing.
The place was seedy, filthy and very very poorly maintained. The place stunk of stale cigarette smoke, the halls smelled like cat urine and other nasty funk. The refrigerator was absolutely disgusting and you had to force the door to close, the microwave was filthy and grimey, the cabinet doors did not close. It appeared as thought perhaps the cabinet base under the sink must have been damaged at some point and rather than replace it, they removed the doors and hung a cheesy curtain over the opening. The cord for the hairdryer looked as though a piranha had been gnawing on it truly a fire hazard. The table on the patio had been used repeatedly as an ashtray.
The room safe did not work I called down to the desk to ask if that could be addressed and for an extra blanket. The phone just rang and rang; that happened twice before someone answered. They said they d send someone nobody ever showed up. At this point, I felt the chances of getting moved to another suite were likely slim, to none.
The owners and management of this resort should truly be ashamed of themselves for even renting this particular suite to anyone.

The most and best pools on the beach, it's a nice place for a vacation ,oceanfront

We ate here at Latitudes bar-and-grill and I can tell you it is so worth it. The fried pickles are delicious, the Cajun chicken Alfredo is also excellent. The cheesecake with chocolate syrup was super yummy. Our server was Haley and she was top notch. Her supervisor Tammy, when we ordered to go the next night, was also wonderful. Even if you're not staying here, go check it out and eat there.

Excellent choice for us, really nice rooms, very clean and very nice staff, lots of pools inside and outside, great ocean view from our room, there s a coffee stand by the lobby, bar, laundry room, gym, game room and much more, magic shows on Sunday great for all family, thanks guys, we enjoyed our stay!!

Horrible... Horrifying... Disgusting... Ran down... Filthy... Looks like something a prostitute would stay in... I wouldn t recommend this resort/motel to my worst enemy... Hideous!!!

It's just not good experience. The rooms are not consistant in cleanliness, towels are extremely limited let alone washcloths that are in absence. The pool areas are just not sanitary, they may try their best, but there are entirely too many people to keep after.

I thought the location was very convenient I enjoyed my stay. It was easy to access and very convenient to the city.

Nice resort with friendly staff and several water features including a waterpark. Great for small kids. Room was decent, great view for an "Oceanview Room". Room had mini fridge, microwave, sink with cups and utensils included. Bathroom could have been bigger and beds a bit bigger, but overall the room was good.

We stayed there for our honeymoon from 7/8/18 - 7/12/18. There do I start. We got trapped in the back elevators twice. The first time was when we first got there on the 11th floor. The fire department hadnt been gone for 20 minutes from getting someone out of them. Finally after ringing the alarm over and over for 30 minutes we have up and pryed the doors open and got out, the second time was on the ground floor the next evening, and me and another gentlemen pryed the doors open and got out. Approached the manager over it and nothing was done. Then the pool and jacuzzi water indoor and outdoor was murky and reaked of chlorine and urine, the jacuzzi with the fountain's water was green and smelled of sewage, and had trash floating all in them, not to mention the huge 2" long cockroaches they referred to as "palmetto bugs" flying and running across the floor in the indoor pool area, and the hallways that had trash bags lined up in them that also reaked of mold and mildew and rotting trash. The rooms were somewhat clean, forget room service coming to clean anything they'll drop off some towels and that'll be about it, then when you went to take a shower all the drains in the room would backup and burp, then after about 3 minutes in the shower black nasty smelling water would backup into the bath tub at you're feet, and would backup into the bathroom and kitchen sink.. nasty black sewage water. I've got pictures and video evidence of all of this and I'm contemplating on sueing them. I called guests services and they referred me to the front end manager of the hotel and she never answered and she wouldn't call me back. I do not recommend them to anyone whatsoever! They will charge you top price for a place that is unsanitary and undermaintained! I'll be sharing my evidence to the owners of the condominiums soon.

The stay itself was decent enough. The bed linens were a little dingy but appeared and smelled clean, the bathroom had hair left in it but overall was okay. My biggest issue was with the bugs. While laying down I saw a roach crawl up the wall and it was absolutely disgusting. If they can get the pest control going, this would be a great place to bring the kids.

Best Batista's!! Cat, Emma & Meredith are the sweetest girls! Always so kind whenever I come to grab a coffee. South hospitality at its best. Good job Landmark!!

Seems like a nice place to stay and eat if wanted. Much better then The Reef

Overall this place is decent. We stayed here through Airbnb. What is, in my opinion, probably the biggest missed opportunity that management has decided is that Airbnb patrons don't get access to the paid bar and the paid coffee shop. I had money that I was more than willing to give to both of these, but was turned away. Not a business major, but turning away business during a pandemic sounds like mismanagement. There was one person in the bar last night. There was no one in line to get coffee. Yet I couldn't give them money. Absurd.

Ok I stayed at the resort before and at that time I would have given them a 4/5 but this stay was 0/5. We stayed 6 nights, two of those we saw roaches, one in bathroom, one crawled up on counter while I was cooking and another one in living room. So they stated they were going to spray room which never happened but they let us switch rooms then when we got to the new room it was not service for the next two days we had dirty towels and they sent a person up who just switch the towels and left dirty towels on tub room floor. So I had to go out in hall and get the house keeper who didn't know we were in the room and ask her to clean our room which she did. Then when I checked out they only wanted to comp me 1/2 of my last night which is preposterous after seeing roaches and they stated the manager was too busy to come out and talk to me about my complaints and said she will call me later. I will be calling corporate I think after being a returning customer and now having this horrible stay I should be comp a lot more!

So here goes my opinion. After reading all the negative reviews I was skeptical of what I would find. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the accommodations were nice and clean. Don't get me wrong if you are looking for 5 stars this is not the place for you. But for the price I paid it was very nice. Breakfast buffet was hot and fresh. Wait staff seemed a little over whelmed but over all was nice. Never saw a bug of any kind. Pools were clean and warm. There were a lot of families with some unruly kids but that happens everywhere. If you are looking for a bargain this was really good.

Hotel is nice and family friendly, customer service could use some work, might be due to all the employees saying they are new and don't know anything.

Wonderful place to stay when visiting the beach! A full family resort

I love too travel and beaches are one of my favorite weekend vacation spots

Smelled like weed in the hallways, that children were running up and down screaming. Mold in the tub, checked out as soon as I saw/smelled the room. Asked for a refund and was told no, do not recommend. Credit card refunded me and used hoteltonight to find same priced five star last minute.

First off check in lines where long, unprofessional staff which I guess explained the long lines checked know at this point unload car go back in to get on elevator wait a minute no one told me location of them so my family had to find them on own without directions from staff one we did find was completely rude so we head

on up get to room none of the keys worked went and found a housekeeper and her key didn t as well so now maintenance comes and his worked on the 5 time let us in said he was coming back never did so it s dinner time we had to leave my husband behind so we could get back in the next day returned to front desk told the problem once more maintenance came again said key worked so we all went swimming to return and key didn t work was told was going to change battery never did at that point we took turns leaving in and out room just so we could get back in.the rooms are bearable could be cleaned better just like the common areas could be also the only nice part was the gift shop it was clean and organized.my advice is DONT stay here (enter at own risk) and those negative ones I experienced those to and the good reviews staff more likely wrote them will not be returning.....

Room 1114 They gave us an interior room at first which meant we didnt have a view of the beach but we paid for a beachside view then are keys to open the door never worked we constantly had to go to the lobby to get them fixed multiable times and our first day our safe was close front the people before us so we had to wait for 2 hours for someone to come fix it the tv and lamp didnt work then after we complained over 10 and asked for the corporates number they offered us a ocean front room so we excepted it and outta no where it was booked so they gave us a side view room room 315 and the one key didnt work then later that night we went in the pool and i look up and there is three ocean front rooms empty so they just didnt wanna lose out on money and its very hard to find your way around elevators very slow some hallways VERY hot and muggy very outdated our one bed was indented in the middle of it front desk workers helpless the only benivites are the beach is very close and the pools are nice and clean

I go to the beach at least 15 times a year with my family this is the worst hotel I have ever stay in 10 years of going not ever book with them once book they will never answer your call n the customer services when you get there is not the best

They had great customer service, but the room was not good.

Balcony was wonderful. I was there for a large function and they treated all of us fantastically. I love that we had a fridge with freezer, microwave and dishes. We did not have the big room either, just a regular 2 bed room.

I only gave 4 stars because they do not offer a continental breakfast. They do offer a breakfast bar buffet, but it was to expensive for how much I eat in the morning.

The Landmark resort is located on the oceanfront. The rooms are clean and can sleep up to 6 adults. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rates were comparable to other hotels in the off season. I would visit this hotel again.

Very nice room. Bathroom wasnt clean as i would have liked. But the suite does include cleaning stuff in case you want clean it better. So that was nice.

Beachfront does not mean beach front. After driving almost 400 miles and finding out we did have a beach front condo and seeing how dirty resort was, we got full refund and gave our business elsewhere.

If i could give this hotel a zero i would ! The worst experience and the worst service i have ever experienced! I stayed from Monday until Sunday and I couldn t wait to leave . To start off the trip to Landmark Resort we had to wait about 30 minutes to even get a cart to take our luggage upstairs and the cart was broken.They had ROACHES inside the hotel and room and when we reported the problem to management said that they had a problem in the whole building and we would only be refunded one night . The A/C in the living room area leaked all over the living room floor (tile) the whole time we were there . Everything is out dated . The pull out bed felt like a ton of bricks . Room service came 1 time to fix the toilet because it wouldn t flush . My room keys stopped working on Wednesday i still have no answer to that . The refrigerator went room temperature on Saturday and we had to throw all our food away Sunday morning. I am disgusted and completely disappointed with the service and maintenance of this hotel . We were on the 10th floor and never once was offered to be relocated to a better room . We should be refunded 50% of our stay if not the whole thing . I highly recommend going to another hotel . Save your time and money!

Nice place for the family kids pool was a little cold not heated. Overall a nice place to stay for the money

Booked an ocean front and all I can see is what you can see in the picture(Building). Just because I can go on the balcony and look over they say it's an ocean view. Room starting to look a little out dated and worn out. The refrigerator was making sounds all night and the toilet was running all the time also. I'd give a 4 star to the in door hot tub and pools the kids and myself loved it. Also the room was beside the bar, arcade room and laundry room, loud and can hear people just about all night and kids running.

Small, outdated rooms. Many items needing repair or replacement. Parking is across the street. The kids liked the pool, but the hot tubs should have been hotter.

A dumpster fire of a hotel. Would not recommend. First impression is that your gf is gonna get pimped out. Needs serious renovations and our experience reflected that. First room we were in had the toilet constantly run,

We loved it. From the beginning they give us not the room that we booked, but Crystal give us different one, and it was perfect. Hotel is not new, but they try to keep clean. During the stay we don t have any issue. We have ocean view room at 14 floor, was nice. We eat at both restaurants , breakfast buffet and dinner, all waitress was very nice. We have 1 year old daughter with us, all employees was nice to us. Housekeeping was good too. We stay from Sunday till Friday, and they clean pools 2 times. They have some magic show,and night show by the pool. Plus we have deal, they give us 60$ food credit. We definitely will comeback

We came during Spring break, bad idea! The hotel, pools & beach packed. Which is to be expected.
The room did offer a great view of the ocean. The room it's self could use some repairs and CLEANING. We didn't feel clean & comfy, until we went to store to purchase air fresher's and Lysol. Housekeeping didn't clean daily nor checked the trash. The day she did come she left our room door unlocked, open. She literally left it open. Other housekeeper said rude remarks/smart comments to us one day.
Kids roamed the hotel loudly banging on the door, security did nothing. The cable would go out each morning & they blamed time Warner cable. I would not recommend nor visit this location again. I have pictures of the rust to the appliances and room.

Older hotel, many amenities to engage young kids. A bit pricey considering the condition of the hotel itself, which is a much older hotel than others on the beach with far more reasonable prices.

We finally arrived at the hotel, after driving all through the night and part of the morning I went in for an early check in around 11:00 am at least to be able to use the parking garage & go to the beach
while my room is ready.
The staff at the front desk was friendly, very helpful and quick, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised when the girl that was helping me said that my room was ready, that was a big PLUS for them in my book.
Nonetheless there were two major incidents that occurred during my stay that I feel it is important to mention:
As we were walking towards my room, I couldn't help but to noticed that someone had dropped a bunch of cookies on the carpet almost in from of my room, I mentioned it to an employee that had a walkie talkie, & immediately reported it on the walkie. We had gone out for a few hours, came back to the room after sun set and no one had cleaned up the mess on the floor, I called the front desk two times about the same issue the second time i asked to talk to a manager & was told that was not available, then i requested for he/she to call me back, never got a call back.
I was embarrassing having to hear the not so pleasant comments of people passing by, when they too saw the mess on the floor, had there been in my room a broom and dustpan, I would've done it myself, it would've been much easier that way.
The second and most significant incident was on the 3rd night of our stay, we had decided to extend our stay another night at this hotel, that same night when my wife went to get an throw cover from the closet,when unfolding it, a roach was in it, she killed it and took a pic of it, went down to the front desk to reported to a manager and show evidence, I was assured that he would defiantly would take of the problem. The next morning we stopped by the ice machine on my floor before heading to the beach, when we encounter another roach right by the machine, killed it and took more pics for prove.
After the second bug encounter we lost all confidence on the staff and more than sure we knew we were at a place where thorough cleaning is not a priority, might appear clean on the surface, but the cleaning is evident that is only superficial.
For my troubles I was credited back a minimal amount. I wish I had read the reviews about this place & never had to deal with any of this.

Nice Beach resort for the price. In house restaurant has really good food. Indoor pool and hot tubs are a plus in the off season!

When we checked in my wife used the bathroom in the room and it didn't flush, they came and fixed it. They didn't tell us that for the next 2 days the pools, lazy river and jacuzzi wouldn't be open. on the fourth day the plate on the door lock was coming off due to screws gone. They never fixed it after being informed twice 2 days before we checked out. Also 2 days before we checked out the glass dome light on the celling in the living room fell off and shattered over the table and chairs. Luckily no one was around it. They came and cleaned it up but never fixed it. I expected more, got less, with no response from management. We won't be staying their again.

The hotel is nice the only thing I didn't care for is the beds were horrible and the hot water took for ever to heat up overall nice hotel

A lot of stuff in the hotel are broken really slow room service and a bad smell in the room. The hotel has no air conditioning in the halls so it's always super hot and sticky. Probably the worst hotel I have ever been in.

Perfect spot for everything. Beach was awesome and so wasn't the pools. The room was disgusting and run down. Maids missed spots when asked to clean again. Door had an opening on the bottom that any time the wind blew it would make a loud whistling noise. Staff was friendly. Will probably find a cleaner hotel with the same view.

Friendly, clean, easy to get to, lots of good free parking, lots of swimming pools, a great min-golf course- free. Ocean out the back door. You could spend time here, be entertained and never leave the property.

Do not trust the pictures on the website! We checked in at 11 pm after a long drive and upon arrival, the dinginess of the exterior, main lobby, and hallways made us leery. Then, upon getting to our room, we were so disgusted by the urine-stained toilet, food-baked-on microwave, and stench, that we immediately checked out. They refunded us for our second two nights but said we couldn't be refunded for the first night due to "not having the VIP plan"...which I would understand if it was a change on OUR end and not an unsanitary problem on THEIR end. A call to the GM as instructed to inquire about a full refund has gone unanswered. Icing on the cake was going to a new hotel and them immediately acknowledging that this "resort" presents itself much fancier than it really is.

We have a great time , the only thing i was upset about was that for some reason i was charge an additional charge after i had pay my full amount. It was hard for someone in the fromt desk to answer. Never call me back. There was no manager available to explain me why i had an additional charge... never experience that before at any other resorts.

We ordered a handicapped room with a fill-in shower. Got a regular room with tub and not a single grab bar. I was not pleased.

Upon arrival at the hotel the front desk was rude. We knew we were early and wasn t expecting the room to be ready. We pay for our room and fill out the paperwork. We arrive back after the check in time and they give us the wrong room. After over an hour of describing our situation and complaining to staff we finally are given the correct room. The pools were beyond disgusting. When checking out we had to wait over 45 minutes because someone was reported to have a gun on the floor we were staying. Overall we did not feel safe the entire stay. We would not recommend to anyone.

Resort is pretty good
Needs brochures for local restaurants, and their own restaurant. Wait time for elevator is bit too long. There are lights on hallway don't work. Smell in hall way is BAD!. Room was satisfactory. I have stayed 2x so far.

My family stayed here for 4 nights for my sons birthday (9-27/10-1) had a blast. The room was great after they took care of a problem. We had no bugs or any other problem. The only bad thing was the waterpark closed way to early and my kids were upset. The pools had warm water and a lot of kiddie pools which was great since my 3 kids are all under 7 years old. I will be coming back to stay here again.

I truly enjoyed my visit at Landmark Resort. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the food was good, the cocktails at the Tipsy Turtle were superior. The room was clean and the view was beautiful. My Auntvwas so happy for a Oceanfront View. I loved it and will be back again.My overall experience was great. Check on was only 10 minutes.

Awesome Place! Family environment! Differently kid friendly!

Stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip during a on off peak trip in the middle of the week, the hotel was clean, the staff were incredibility nice and always made sure to make sure you where comfortable. if you can get an ocean view its recommended the room, had a small fridge and microwave and a number of small kitchen items. The hotel grounds and the pools were always kept clean. From the pool deck you can walk right out to the beach, they have a few washing stations to come back in from the beach to clean off sand.

Its really hot but its nice and its cool inside the rooms

This place is not a resort. It is a poorly maintained, disgusting property that better resembles a project building. There was garbage everywhere. I am shocked to read people enjoying the indoor amenities. The lazy river was broken down with caution tape around it. The water looked toxic. There was a ton of police activity from all the people smoking weed in the open.The front desk Manager was rude and said if you dont like you can leave. This place is a joke. If you have any standards I would stay far away from this place.

This place is trash the security will approach your kids at the pool and will tell them to get out just for jumping in the floats! The rooms are not clean the management is disrespectful staff not friendly! They have us a key to a room that was occupied and we walked in on them DONT EVER STAY HERE THIS PLACE OS TRASH ALONG WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES NO RESPECT FOR THEIR GUESTS! I would have gave 0 stars but had to put a 1 to leave a review

Beds a are rock hard...didn't get daily maid service. Could have been cleaner. People were friendly

Great hotel, cheap in off season, right on the ocean... Only I found a used condom in the pool. Yuck!
