The Landmark is our "go to" when staying at Myrtle Beach. Excellent service and amenities to make your stay very pleasurable.

Dirty very dirty. Needs to be remodeled.It needs to be closed down .My family reunion was their. I came all the way from Maryland and didn't stay for my Reunion.Everyone the i met there was upset about their room.The LANDMARK HOTEL HAVE THE NERVE TO CHARGE TOP DOLLAR.AND everyone that work there tell you the same lie about the rooms .Would not let a Dog stay there!!!!!!

The staff we talked to were all very nice. The bed was very uncomfortable. We could feel the springs and it was very old. The indoor pool area looked very nice but the chlorine was way to strong. breakfast was very generic and not worth the money. I doubt we will stay here again anytime soon.

Big Rip Off. I knew I was in trouble during check in Rift raft was everywhere. Stayed in the executive suit. Let's just say there wasn't a single thing executive about it. Almost $300 for this? Hahaha never again.

This location is so near to the beach that you literally can see the shore from your room window. Many of our group mentioned letting the lull of the waves lure them to sleep at night. However beyond that I can't think of too many psotoves that stood out. Im under sure of what the lower floor rooms look like but the high floors definitely need to be updated. As well as the elevator. The parking garage was across the street from the hotel which left me feeling a little uneasy leaving my car there and walking back to the hotel. There were many people walking the streets at night. The food and drinks were okay but the staff was friendly. Im not sure if I would stay here again.

My go to hotel every time I go to M.B. I've been stay there for over 8 years. The room are very clean and the staff are very friendly. Best hotel by far for my family.

Never again. We've been coming here over the past year, this is our third stay within the year and it will be our last. It is NOT a family friendly resort unless that is you don't mind your hotel floor and room smelling like marijuana because it is being smoked 2 doors away and staff is aware of this. Or how about watching a few drug deals go down or a guy shooting up at the public beach access from your balcony or poolside? The room was decent but not worth what we paid, had hot tubs broken down, soda and ice machines down, saw and spoke with multiple people that had issues. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone.

During my stay staff was very friendly, seemed like they cared about their guests. Enjoyed my time there, only con that comes to mind is that the wifi was atrocious. Plan to use your phone data here when in the rooms. Wasn't too much of a problem for us since we were always out and about though. Interior pool and lazy river was nice, had dinner at their bar and grill and the food was delicious. There is security always walking along the property 24/7, including the garage across the street, so safe to say they take guest safety very seriously. Not a bad place to stay for a weekend!

Our server was AMAZING! So much food to choose from and all of it was delicious. Very clean and cozy.

We stayed June 11-14 which apparently was off season but it was perfect. No huge crowds, no lines, waiting or traffic. The hotel it s self was clean. The beds were comfy & our room was spacious. We had the ocean view standard queen. The staff was very nice and friendly. Also, the breakfast was always hot & fresh & delicious. The laundryrooms were also very clean. Only thing I wish was better was the inside pool would be a little cleaner. Other than that our stay was wonderful!

Every employee i have met has treated me kindly and gone above and beyond to see that i am enjoying myself. The DJ by the pool, the starbucks in the lobby and the many places to eat and drink have added to the fun! Amazing pools and easy beach access was the icing on the cake!

We usually enjoy our stay here but we were given a room the last time over looking the pool very big mistake, it was so very noisy and loud all day long and even up in the late night, do they not have a private quiet time at all? And our room was very warn and old didn t even appear clean, not sure if we will return anymore

My room has a Ocean View which has absolutely beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The staff is very kind,will help you in anyway.Room is kept clean no shortage of towels,and the food in lobby is good.The best way to say it is home away from home.

It wasn't the worst hotel but wasn't the best...free put put was good but there was no "free" breakfast....not bad overall

Extremely run down. It rained while we were there and there were leaks in the common areas. Unkempt. My husband's hat was taken from our room. I could not wait to leave.

The Good: friendly people, beach front access, room was clean, nice pool areas, ocean front rooms have great view. The Bad: mostly run down, certain areas of the hotel smell funny, courtyard rooms overlook greenhouse type roof covering interior pool and it had trash thrown down on it, restaurant was slow, kids running free in halls, pools really crowded. The Verdict: too expensive for what you get, won't be staying again.

Very clean friendly staff Sherman is the best. Pools and hot tubs are greats! Beds and pillows are comfy. Rooms are beautiful. Will stay again! Thanks Sherman!

Ridiculous wait at the front desk. Staff is very friendly. Not as clean as it could be, but is Oceanfront and has nice pools and water features. Been there twice.

Landmark has some of the finest service I have ever received. Rooms are spacious and wellkept. Staff is friendly and the guests are pleasant. I love it's location right next to the each and their indoor pool is nice to do some poolside sunbathing.

3rd time here at the landmark and it is as still as great as the times before.

Very clean facility and employees are very helpful and outgoing they make your staying very welcoming. We stay there every year with the South Carolina and my family and I are planning to return this year. I would recommend it to all my family and friends

Brian at the latitudes manager is a joke doesn't care if you wait half an hour for a drink and 45 minutes for your food that you don't get, only saving Grace is art they bartender who was a gem and very helpful

Had a great time with friends and family. Was on the off season so everything was no going in full, still was great.

I wasn t very happy at all with my stay at landmarks too crowded

This place is absolutely disgusting. They advertise as 17+ pools and spas but you should really only use one or two (the outside ones). The indoor pools were filthy and the indoor lazy river was taped off so you wouldn't be able to use it. Probably because the water was dark brown and had roaches floating in it. We were lucky to have rented an Airbnb condo within this "resort" so we didn't have to deal with the rooms that are managed by the hotel, otherwise, I'm sure we would have immediately left. All the hallways are dirty and trash isn't picked up off the floors. Truly disappointing. Do NOT stay here if you want to utilize indoor facilities.

Customer service was awesome but rooms need upgrading for price asking. I got a suite for $167 the kitchen area was extremely narrow and in bathroom you could tell they covered old single mirror with a scratched wood framed one. Also tv was way to small for it to be considered a suite. Breafast was not included with room had to pay an extra 25 for breakfast which i was never informed of until waitress asked about a breakfast voucher..apparently you have to book online with some breakfast special to have it included. I was however very happy with indoor pools and jacuziis and outside had bars and music right next to it so I was very happy and relaxed. Also housekeeping was helpful and very nice and accomodating.

This is our second time staying at the Landmark Resort and we have been satisfied each time. Plenty of water options gives everyone something to do interviews from the 14th floor make a very thrilling vacation.

It was a nice place to stay clean rooms but a little bit expensive if you ask me

Lack of luggage carts. Rooms need upgraded. Wi-Fi doesn't work correctly. Pools need cleaned. Icee selection SUCKS. Almost all hot tubs are like warm at best.

This place is awesome!! The staff is wonderful and rooms are very clean and comfortable it's close to shops and restaurants

While the staff was really nice however our room wasn't so pleasant. We got the executive suite, room 439. When we entered our room we inspected everything so we wouldn't be blamed for any damages. Our phone didnt work, the smoke detector was hanging off the wall, one of the chandelier rims was hanging off, the bathroom counter had a huge crack in it, the kitchen faucet was loose as hell. We called maintenance to fix what he could. The morning of our leave was the kicker though... My husband killed a cockroach on the floor...a few moments later while I was fixing my coffee I killed an adult cockroach. I don't think we'll be staying here again.

i was told I would get my deposit back the day of check out. I m still waiting. Other than that everything was great.

So many pools! Wow! We stayed in an oceanfront room on the 14th floor and the views were spectacular! The sunrises were gorgeous and we even got to see Dolphins playing on our last morning there!

This place is amazing. Awesome view, food, and folk. Peace.7!!!

Nice family resort. We loved the pools and the hot tub,even played around of pu pu golf. Enjoyed it very much,our room was amazing!!!

Very outdated... has its problem with pest.... will definitely do my best to not stay with landmark in the future also confirm what you book because they change it when you get there... and then give you excuses that everything you was promised is already booked

One of our faves in South Myrtle. Staff is always visible and friendly. Room 1230 is ocean front and had a king bed w a sofa pull out w mini fridge, microwave and sink. Plenty of pools, hot tubs, bar and restaurant. Things that could improve, been many times and sauna is never working (fix or get rid of), outdoor hot tub and pool could be warmer during winter stays, floor from indoor pool to elevators is very slick if you are wet. Could use signage to show how to open the pool gate from the beach side . Elderly couple couldnt figure it out, after looking for signage, gave up and had to walk around the whole building.

The Landmark is now an outdated hotel. They have completed renovations in some of the room's , but it is simply run down. Our Oceanfront Suite had a foul odor, stained furniture, and the pools/lobby were over crowded. The room I booked was $200 a night; I wouldn't have stayed if it was free. Save your time and money.

Only thing good is its right on the beach. Then we got switched to an ocean front room. The view was breathtaking. The pool is spacious and they have easy access to the beach. The room was clean and you have many options for a jacuzzi in the indoor pool area.

Do not book here!!! We had two purses stolen out of our room, and I know for sure that we locked our door. The hotel is ran down and the pictures are very deceiving. The entire hotel smells like weed. Anyone is able to come into the hotel and pool area from the beach because no key card is required. They don t have cameras on every hallway. Our room was next to the main elevator to the pool, and there still wasn t a camera watches that area.

It's okay, nice location and lots of fun pools. Really the only things to complain about are that the halls, elevators, and even the pools weren't the cleanest. They serve food out near the pool area, and there was food in some of the pools floating around. There was also beer that was spilt in an elevator that wasn't cleaned up for at least an hour, along with some pizza crust. The view from the balcony was nice too, but people were outside smoking on balconies near us and that was a bummer.
We always stayed here as a a family when I was growing up, and I have a lot of fun memories here. I wish their maintenance and clean up crews were a little quicker with their cleaning, but other than the messes, it was a good time

Excellent king suite for 110 a night on priceline. Great view of beach 7 dollar bucket margaritas cant go wrong. Hotel needs love but is getting it. Great for family awesome indoor pool area.

Decent place to stay housekeeping is a little rough and can be hard to deal with not the best area either for crime but all in all a good place to stay

This hotel is in desperate need of remodeling and feels unsafe at times. They have two side entrances that anyone can access. I witnessed people from. Other hotels using our pools since the hotel doesn't enforce the pool band rule. Children are left unattended and hotel employees watch them terrorize guest. Fire alarm was pulled three times in one night and I found roaches, vomit and stray cats on the sundeck.

Great place for family fun. Made reservations and experienced no problems except getting lost in this big place

Room service was very poor. Housekeeping came to the door after 3pm while everyone was getting ready for dinner and asked what we needed. We had to gather the dirty linens and trash ourselves and request linens for the kitchen and toilet paper. We were left with 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. The beds were never made and the floors were never vacuumed except on the first day. We got stuck in the elevator and my mother fell on the slippery step going into the indoor pool and injured her foot. Even the security guard told my mother that she told them to put something on that step because it was slippery but they never did. The walkway to parking deck is nice. The hotel layout was very confusing. We got stuck in the elevator. I reported that the ice machine on our floor was broken and it was never addressed. The wall bed was way more comfortable than the 2 double beds... I felt like I was sleeping on wood. The waterpark was nice but won't be staying here again.

Went for a ceremony, and the place was nice. Would consider staying there

I have pros and cons to say, the hotel is not 4 stars, not even 3, it is neglected, needs maintenance, renew it, it looks neglected even a little dirty, the large indoor pool, the water was very COLD, the heating was broken, However, the one outside was working, there were other pools that were closed, the jacuzzis were completely full, because they were working, but in the pool there was no one who could bathe. The water park was closed too, and supposedly they said it was open. The hotel is very nice, but needs updating, attention in general, in the rooms, in the corridors, and in the pools. If you want to spend a few days at sea, or enjoy a few days in the pool, without spending much, welcome, but if you can pay a little more, look for a better place.

If you don't like the crowds and enjoy great rates this is the place to go!

This was a disaster.
When we got there to check in our room wasn't ready so we had to wait 2 hrs and they were suppose to call when the room was ready but did not call.
No luggage carts anywhere in sight and not much help to find one.
The room wasn't properly cleaned.floor was dirty and stained sheet on the fold down bed which only had the one fitted sheet on it.no other pillows or blankets for that bed.
When we checked out we couldn't find a luggage cart ....again. Then we were told the guys were hiding them out so they could make money by "finding" them for guest.
Elevaters were terribly slow and smelled like urine and wet dog.The stairwells smelled so strongly of urine it would gag you.
This was not a pleasant experience for our family.

I stayed at the Landmark recently and it was so much for my first time. First the room was flooded from the ac when I went to my room then I was transferred to another room and the refrigerator wasn't working after maintenance came and did something it stopped working a couple days later Ugh. I was surprised that rooms wasn't checked prior to check in times to avoid such mess. I paid my money for a week of vacation only to start off with foolishness that could have been avoided. Then the front desk tried to accrue taxes which started in may even thou I booked the trip in march. I wasn't even notified of the increase until the day of when I was in route to the resort. I explained it to the front desk which after awhile of discussing finally was told it was taken off only when check out time came up it actually hadn't been and I had to go over the whole thing again even thou I had already been told it was taken care of. The slow process and everybody in the resort all not knowing what is going on is very frustrating. I will not be returning to this place I was not happy and I should have look at reviews prior to because I see others have had problems with this place as well.

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before I stayed at this resort, if I had I probably would have chosen another place to stay. Check in was friendly and easy. Hallways are filthy, smell bad and walls dirty (water stained carpet and extremely filthy) not a good first impression. The room didn't appear dirty but had a smoke smell in it. The front desk let me exchange rooms. The second room initially felt better, however, after getting settled later that day saw the first roach, and it kept going from there. In less than 24hrs I experienced 7+ roaches (horrifying)Saree was the rep who helped me and she has the best attitude and customer service was excellent. New room and more roaches...checked out and calling corporate office. Never again!

Let me get straight to the point about Land mark Resort this is not a resort by any means. First and last time staying here. Handicap people stay away there are very few parking available for the handicap customers. The manager needs training because she doesn't even knows the laws of the state of South Carolina as to how much handicap parking is required for the over 500 rooms in the building.
Also you have to keep your laugage off the floors because of roaches. We had to cover the couch with sheets and also the bed in fear of taking any bugs back home with us. Some of the staff looked like they worked round the clock. Yes it's close to the beach but be careful pictures on their website are very deceiving. One star resort.

Some rooms are great and others not so good. Beautiful view if you are Ocean front and lots of activities are a plus!

Been coming here for the pass 3 years and this year didn't get ocean front view, got ocean view. They would not consider moving us to ocean front. They are remodling rooms And of course it was a room beside our room so it wasn't a very enjoyable day. Plus they shut down ice machines and had to go down to lobby to get ice. Don't think will come back to this place again, will get somewhere else. Must have new management and new rules.

Landmark is a good family vacation spot. Has a bar and good food for adults as well.

I love that it's by the beach. Soothing to hear the waves coming in while relaxing. Nice hotel with a lot to do.

The only thing positive about this hotel was that housekeeping is very prompt and polite. I did however hear over one of the housekeepers radios that there was a possible bedbug situation which made my experience even more stressful because the room that was being inspected was close to ours. If you aren't worried about looks this place could be for you. Everything looks cheap and unfortunately there were lots and lots of stains all over the carpets through the hallways. Expect very rowdy crowds when using this hotel especially around the pool areas. On a positive note they do provide a dj for the outside pool and it does have good access to the beach from the hotel.

This place is pretty sketchy! Our stay was free but if it wasn't I would have been pretty upset to spend our money on this "resort" its in a bad need of upgrading! Seen roaches (not in our room thankfully) but seeing them at all is unpleasant. The water park is not a water park and the rooms in the pictures are not what you are going to get. The only thing nice was the beach access and being close to everything but you could have that at any place in the area. I recommend you dont spend your money here!

Great Hotel with lots of amenities. Loved the Starbucks. There's a Bar inside with food options that stays open late, 7 days a week. There's also poolside Bar and a Snack stand with limited hours. Usually 12-6. Friendly staff with good parking Garage.

Convenience TURN Inconvenience!!!
Hotel has lots of immunities but becomes pointless when unable to use. Ice machine broken or empty on several floors. Change machine broken in laundry room. Fitness center out or order. Elevator out of order. Dial " 0" rings and rings and rings. No answer. Asked for clean sheets four times within a two hour span. Never received them. Night desk staff unfriendly when I asked for change to do laundry. Internet connection terrible. All of these issues were between 10pm-1am. So no excuse for peak hours can be used. Convenience is a must when traveling with small children for vacation. Will NOT be back.

The staff is great and definitely the selling point of the resort. As far as updated rooms and the cleanliness of the balcony it could've been better. Friendliest resort? Yes.

We had plumbing thumping in the walls.We had drains slow and gurgling. We took the stopper out to let the water out.The main outside pool was out of order most of the time.Slowest elevators ive ever seen.We waited over twenty minutes one time.We never complain but it was necessary this time.We will not come here again.

Terrible experience! From walking in the lobby and taking the elevator to our room, we knew this was going to be a bad experience. The elevator was dirty and there were wet towels and crumbs all on the floor. We made it to the room which was very outdated, holes in the sheets and dings all along the wall. The shower didn't work properly; the shower spray didn't come on, you were only able to take a bath. The floor in the "living space" was wet and the murphy bed was damp. I wouldn't let my kids put their pillow on the floor or take off their shoes - yuck! We left after one night.

When we called with questions prior to arriving staff were very rude and acted bothered. Very friendly upon arrival. Rooms aged but worth the price compared to other resorts. Pool and outdoor area clean- really.missed the lazy Rivers being open. Staff members were put constant wiping and sanitizing which was great.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The pictures are misleading. This is not a clean family friendly hotel. The rooms are very outdated and the amenities are not desirable. The parking garage had no lights on the first night - could not see a thing. A fight broke out on the balcony by the pool and a pair of women s underwear were found laying outside the elevator. I was looking forward to. Nice relaxing time with family and iinstead it was stressful and I had anxiety every time we had to come back to the hotel/room. I only gave it 1 star because it made me choose. My true rating is no stars.

Our family vacation started out AWFUL! Not because of The Landmark though, they are awesome! We booked a room at a different hotel and found it beyond disgusting, so we got a refund and left around 10pm. After running around Myrtle Beach, 9 hours from home trying to find a hotel room in the middle of July a lot of hotels were booked. Thank goodness for the landmark. Amazing customer service, they are very friendly, and did everything they could to get us a nice room with a balcony and a view on the 14th floor. Breakfast buffet was great and so is the restaurant inside the hotel. It's really hot and stuffy in the elevators and they take forever but it was to be expected. We will definitely be returning to The Landmark! :)

Lack of staff availability!
Never received room service and I got an attitude from house keeper after my second day stay when I requested clean towels! Unpleasant smell due to excessive amount of people smoking weed in their rooms/balconies pool side. Hallways smell horrible and carpets are filthy.

Good place but the rooms are very small. No paper towels in the kitchen area. The pools were nasty and all the spas where not working.

Where to start
The place is okay. It has very nice pools and restaurants. The price of the restaurants in the hotel are kind of high but the plus is you don't have to get out. The reason for a 2 star review and not a 5 is the ROACHES!!! I found 3 in our room. I took them to the front desk and ask for the manager. He tried to reassure me and lie and tell me it was a palmetto bug. Well I believed him then because he seemed like he knew what he was talking about. Well I went back in the room and typed in palmetto bug on my phone and was directed to the Orkin website. Well it turns out a palmetto bug is actually a cockroach. So instead of going back down to the front desk I just checked out the next morning. I don't appreciate getting lied to.

This is a older hotel. The room was nice. Some areas aged better than others. Unfortunately the weather was not nice for our stay. Nothing against the hotel.

Great place for the family a lot of pools and lots of fun

We got to the room and it immediately smells like a sows farrowing barn. Nothing is clean and the carpet although very nasty is also moist. Painted over old hooks and anchors for wall hangings. <br/>Fortunately I was injured and couldn t leave the room for 5 days. Everyone went to the beach On the first day I took a nap and was awoken to the door popping open, housekeeping at 5:30 pm coming to rob us blind I m sure, as others have complained about. At 8:30 I just woke up and a entire family walks into the room with their key? I call they send up a guy. Suppose to be fixed. We leave nothing of value in the rooms when we leave. The only time we all were gone strangely neither of our keys work. They say it happens all the time. Right, all the time. Between me having to kill cockroaches. No bed bugs, surprised the hell out of me in this dump. I m sure they re here tho as other have been bit up. <br/>Our flight was for Saturday and we were suppose to check out Friday. On Tuesday we booked the room for another day. Friday afternoon housekeeping comes in and says we were suppose to check out. I said no we have another day. 2 hours later a guy blows the door open and says he s blocking the door. I show our receipt and told the guy we confirmed at the desk and got the receipt. I called the manager. He was clueless, he fumble f*< Ed around for 3-5 minutes. Then they wanted to move us to another room. We left and we ll never return. I wouldn t stay for free. <br/>Never again, even if it was free. Take your chances anywhere and it will be as good as this nightmare. If there was a less than one star they earned it. The kid at the front desk was a good kid. So he earned them a star. We damaged nothing as you very well know. We asked for photos of the damage and you provided none to us because there was none to the room. A light that wasn t working and a drawer off it s slide? You are a liar and a cheat. We are providing video of your front desk giving us a receipt for the room that was never refunded to the attorney generals office along with your claims. Turning the kid at the front desk into a criminal as you are is disgusting. It s not a landmark people. It s a skid mark. Stay clear at all cost.
