DO NOT GIVE THESE CRIMINALS YOUR MONEY!!!WE STAYED AT THIS DISGUSTING PLACE AND I LEFT SOME MEDICINE THERE THAT I HAVE TO HAVE!!I CALLED THESE PEOPLE FOR 2 WEEKS NOONE HAS CALLED ME BACK..I HAVE CONTACTED THEM DoZEN TIMES WITH NO CALL OR EMAIL BACK!!I SHOULD TAKE A LAWSUIT OUT ON THEM,FOR KNOWING THE SITUATION WAS DIRE AND NOONE CALLING ME BACK..THE SOBS DONT MIND TAKING YOUR MONEY!!THEY HAVE THE NASTIEST ROOMS EVER!!I HAVE SEEN BETTER BY THE HOUR ROOMS!!!!!!!!IF ANYONE ON HERE GIVES A GOOd REVIEW,ThEY EITHER WORK THERE,GOT PAID,OR ARE TRASHY AND dIRTY AND ALREADY LIVE IN FILTH!!!

My oceanfront room is indeed right on the ocean. Great view from the balcony. Unfortunately there are guests above us partying till all hours of the morning. Service is okay. Love the Starbucks in the lobby.

We stayed here for our week long vacation in Myrtle Beach and will never be back. With all the options available in the area, save your money and stay somewhere nicer and with more options and upgrades. For one, this place hasn't been updated for years and it shows. Two, the cockroaches were out of control! I understand that you can't completely get rid of these insects, but you can control them. They were everywhere. Lastly, the workers were flat out rude at the front desk. The first day we arrived we only had 2 towels for 4 people, and no extra pillows for the murphy bed. When we went to the front desk to obtain extra items we were told they were out of towels. How does a resort this size run out of towels? Take your family somewhere else. I'd give one star but we left behind some personal items and after speaking with management, we were able to come to an agreement to have them shipped back to our home which was pleasant.

Poor customer service. Telling us we can check in early only it never happen to our floor being out of ice for the few days we were here despite me making countless request to them. With the humidity soaring you'd think they'd hv the ice machine working. Never again.

I would give this hotel a negative 10 if I could. My group who was staying at this hotel to have a fun weekend , turned into a few hours of disaster. We checked in around 3pm and decided to go to dinner at 5:30 we returned from a wonderful dinner around 8. We got all relaxed and decided to go to bed early. We turned out lights , then one lady in our group got up to use bathroom, their was roaches in bathroom , she turned lights on in Kitchen, roaches came from everywhere, little, medium. large. I called front desk they send mainteance up immediately, he went straight to the fridge that made it worse. We could'nt stay at the roach motel. We decided to checked out ,we had problem with a nasty shift manager , we couldn't get our money back. We informed her that we would get our money back because we would'nt stay where their was roaches because we didn't bring any down and we wasn't planning on carrying any back. Next day we came back talked to a very nice manager name Mr. Richardson, he assured us that we would get all our money back. Mr. Richardson is a excess to your company. Roberta McInnis

Where do I start? The accessibility to the beach was the only bright spot for us. For us, the website pictures did not live up to the actual facility. We found the facility to be dated and not well maintained or cleaned. We found hairs and a syringe package in our room. Maybe we have high standards. I don't know. You be the judge.

There's SO much to do. Right on the beach. Several pools and hot tubs. My family played several rounds of free putt putt. The place is pretty dated and rough around the edges. It's not the most luxurious place you'll stay. But the benefits definitely outweighed the drawbacks for us.

Horrible vacation...paid $800 for just 3 nights.. We took our 11month old and 11 year old sons...we were told if we arrived before check-in that they would take our luggage and when our room was ready they would call our cell phone. We arrived at at 1 and we were told check-in is not till 4. I explained what we was told and the lady was very rude and said well we cant do anymore of that today. First of all the room was so outdated and also had holes in the doors. There was no air in the living room, light bulbs were blown in the kitchen, and there was ketchup all over the floor, ceiling, and table. So I called the front desk and they told me I would have to come down to talk to a manager. So from the 15th floor I made it down to the lobby and waited like 15mins to talk to a manger. She sent maintenance and house keeping up. They had to replace the air conditioning unit and then the outlet because it was the wrong one. Needless to say our first whole day was wasted getting everything done and fixed in our room. Nothing about these "condos" are as pictured and definitely not worth the money. The manager did not offer to change us rooms or anything. Will not visit this place again!

The majority of the staff is clueless! Ticket info said pirates voyage was booked all shows yet I called pirates voyage directly and got front row seats. They have only one ticket person who likes to leave early. I asked if we were in myrtle beach or north myrtle beach front desk had no idea because we were trying to give someone directions. It was things like that the entire stay and we stayed 4 days! At our checkout it got worse because when we made reservations they said if we allowed them to use us for advertising they would add a free breakfast for my daughter we were like ok. Breakfast comes and there were only 3 tickets and a card that the front desk lady said would count as the meal ticket. It was not a ticket and when asked about it they said they had no record of saying that. But funny my daughters pic with her grandmother appeared on their facebook page! I demanded it be removed immediately!We did have an awesome porter though he was a Jamaican guy with two afro puffs. He was helpful and quick his name was Rayon and another female porter named Shantae that was great. Unfortunately these two staff,members were the only good points about this stay. The photo below is the one that showed up on their Facebook page cause family members noted to my dad they saw it so we went to look cause we didn't post anything yet but it was one he tagged from last year

Not terrible but not great. Exactly what you expect for the price. Rooms are nice, updated but hallways and common areas are old and outdated, hot and muggy. Pools are nice but there is not staff to monitor guests. Which is both a pro and a con. Check in was hectic and a long wait. And the whole hotel is easy to get lost in, not very good directions/signs/maps.

I struggle to give this place a three, my emotions want to give it a one, I'd of given 5 if it wasn't for one incident . But that aside and saved for last. We stayed here last minute because we didn't need to be home for another night and didn't want to leave the beach. The hotel is amazing the room clean and nice. The first room we went in had a broken handle to the outside, went to the front desk and the offered to move us so we did. Next room no complaints clean nice and updated. The pools are amazing as well so many and the lazy river was perfect for my wife our baby and I. We ate at a restaurant in the hotel which had delicious food, but I forget the name. All the staff were amazing as well. On the morning we were to leave we ran into some set backs as most parents do with babies or small children and we were getting close to our check out time. We called at 10 till 11 and asked for an extra 30 mins because our baby still needed breast fed and cleaned up, I needed a quick shower and to get our stuff out of the room. The girl on the phone spoke with what I assumed was a manager who said absolutely not, probably because big corporation seeing lost money either way of they let us stay over or can't someone in the room because it was delayed being cleaned. I get it, so here we are screaming hungry baby, me carrying everything without a cart, not fully ready for the drive back things falling out of my hands all because they couldn't give us 30 well actually 20 mins because we asked at 10:50 for my wife to feed our baby and for me to grab a cart to get to our car. So all in all of I were to go back to myrtle beach I'd stay there a full week but their management needs to loosen up a bit and have some consideration to situations such as that. But it shows they aren't willing to work with guest to accommodate them being hours and hours away from home.

Hello this is my experience at Landmark Resort at Myrtle Beach SC 8/3-5/18. Family of 7 my wife and I with our 4 kids range from 1yrs old to 17, Stayed at an Ocean Front Room 337 We checked in at 4pm long line, I understand that no room is perfect but please not outdated when you pay $650.00 for the weekend expectations at that price would be high. Our vacation began with stepping inside our room which had not a pleasant smell (sour), but we were on Vacation so I discarded the smell ,not to spoil my families vacation / happiness..I have some pictures to back up my next encounters M O L D!! At the bottom of room window curtains by the A.C. I realized Ocean Front Rooms may get a little extra moisture but when you have mold along the top of the walls where the wall meets the ceilings also inside the closets, behind the couch, well that's too much ...I certainly didn't expect that for $650. Now I'm starting to pick apart the room, there was dust caked onthe fire alarm cover, rust on lamps, floor felt sticky and wet leading to the balcony, stopper for the bath tub stopper wouldnt stay down to fill the tub, fridge wasent cold, we killed a cockroach, small but is a cockroach, Our room safe was not working properly..I finally had to call front desk to raise awareness because this was now ridiculous.. Front desk was nice Taina put a work order in and said that maintenance would be coming up shortly to fix our room safe. I was advised to point out the other room issues to maintenance after briefly exposing how I was feeling and to remind them that I m on short Vacation with my family.. Now is 4:30pm We are trying to head to the beach I asked the family to go without me ,our I wanted to put our valuables inside our safe, I waited 30 min noone showed up..I called down to the front desk again they apologize for the misinformation about maintenance coming up shorty now the Maint. guy had 4 people in front of me. My patience now is very thin but I understood there was many other guest and like 600 rooms with other hotel guests going through a similar experience, Naw not really I was fuming inside I really didn't care what the situation was I payed for a flawless room VIP package I wanted to cancel and find a different hotel my issue is Friday it would have been a huge inconvenience to pack everything and everyone up and hope to find something else..I requested the front desk to hold off on the work order until I come back from the beach because at this point I haven't even began to remotely enjoy my beach vacation and my valuables were inside the safe that was opened because it wasent working properly I didnt want anyone other than myself inside the room ..Say the least I went to the beach was there 35 min, forgot something inside our room went upstairs and Lord have mercy someone was walking inside my room. Turned out to be Roy a maintenance guy he was going to be fixing the safe, Roy said that he knocked none answered so he let himself in to take care of the work order. He fixed it I asked him about the fridge he said in a hurry, that's is not on the work order I said okay he left...I had enough I wanted to now make a formal complaint with management, I had to wait in line 25 min to get to speak with someone other than regular staff at front desk.. Needless to say I spoke to a manager they assured that all would be taken care of ..This was Tyler very nice manager great intentions offered to purchase our dinner at Latitudes the hotel restaurant for all the heartache ,yet I checked out and noone ever followed up I even called Mr Tyler after I checked out to inform him and give him an update but he never returned my call...Landmark Resort I am very disappointed highly sadden to have experienced a unsatisfactory stay at the resort ..I hope that no other guest who chooses to purchase a vacation package, book a room or selects Landmark randomly, dont experience even a miniscule fraction of my experience at Landmark Resort at Myrtle beach Thank You I cant say that ill ever stay there even for free. Staff was A+

The hotel is nice, but dated. Depending on the room you are assigned you will have different reactions. Our family booked three rooms. Each one was different. The resort standard room could use updating. The TV's were small and mattresses hard/lumpy. Some of the rooms were owned by fills that may have painted or installed better furniture. In that room, the pull down bed actually had a memory foam mattress and TV's twice the size as the other room. These two were diagonal suites. The normal room was nice.

This place is a joke. The building is dilapidated. Our "suite" was gross. It smelled like weed when we walked in. Our "ocean view" room was off to the side, we could barely see it. We mainly had a view of the building and parking garage across from us. Their "17 pools" are crowded and not clean. There are no life guards or hotel staff to supervise any of the pools so people and their kids do whatever the hell they want. The 2-3 person hot tubs contribute to their pool count, so in reality there is only two pools, two kiddie pools, a splash pad, and a lazy river. Breakfast is not free. They gave us vouchers for breakfast but not enough to cover our entire stay. The parking garage is cramped and hazardous as there is no controlled traffic pattern. The parking garage is across the street so you have to take a hike from your car to your room. If you manage to find a luggage cart, keep it! Housekeeping was elusive, they barely came by. When they did, they just made the beds. They didn't plus up coffee, take out trash, or sweep/vacuum. Stay at one of the beautiful chain resorts like Windsor or Marriot. It's worth the extra money. Better yet, use AirBnB to rent out one of the luxury condos.

Me and my family have stayed here in the summer for two years in a row. It was an amazing experience the lazy river is so relaxing. Great place for smaller kids right in the middle of the pool area. So many activities to do and its right on the beach. The rooms are amazing and if you get a room with a balcony the veiw is beautiful. I would give it five stars!

We stayed there Friday thru Sunday and soon we checked in and went to our room. it was not so cleaned, soon we walk in was the bedroom and then kitchen and the stove wasn't working properly, bathroom has no exhausting fan, it was not very well cleaned, they didn't have enough towels, the AC wasn't working properly.
Our bag was stolen at the poolside and 2 of our phones. They didn't have any security cameras install anywhere except the pool at one angle and one was at the elevator. The thief took our bag and they were not able to trace it. they didn't have any camera by the rooms so see where the person went after stealing. The customer service wasn't that great and no one seems to care about our stolen bag and phones. Called the police and that was the worst after all because they got there so late and couldn't locate the person at all. They were slow in response, No one helped us at all. They didn't even search the Hotel itself or done anything for us,.
so please be aware of your belongings, keep eye on them all the time and don't relay on the staff for anything. Overall our stay was awful and worst mistake we made to stay at that hotel.
If they would have showed some concern or care we might had our phones with us. The staff never made any contact with us at all we had to go there and ask about any update.

Elevator is very slow. Rooms are small but ok. Hallways are shabby...very one was helpful...the restaurant/bar was nice. Family geared resort . Outside pool could be bigger. The lawn chairs were nice.

5th year in a row, we stayed. Last year and before I would have give 5 stars after the remodel and all the work they put in, but this year it really went down hill again, trash every where, people who clean the pools are rude. Excellent staff in the latitudes bar. The housekeeping are so friendly and Nice, check in was a bit slow.

Despite mixed reviews, we decided to give this place a shot because of the pools and other amenities. I was hopeful when we arrived, but the coffee counter and nice lobby are quite deceiving. We decided to check our room before bringing in our luggage, and I'm glad we did! As we started down the hall, we immediately noticed how dirty the walls and doors were. When we got into our room, it smelled nice and clean, but as we looked around, there were pieces falling from the ceiling onto our bed and you could see places where it had leaked and was just patched over. My husband politely asked for another room, and the staff was excellent about helping. There was a room available that had a side ocean view. Again, optimistic, we headed to the room. This time, as soon as the door opened, we could smell a very strong musty, moldy odor. We debated on what to do, but the smell was too strong, not to mention we both were getting bitten by something and began itching all over. Neither of us felt good about staying and we decided to leave. Luckily, we had purchased the VIP protection and got all of our money back. We came down the street and ended up in an amazing hotel with a deluxe suite, full oceanfront view, and paid less money!!
I will say that the staff at the front desk were really polite! They aren't to blame for the poor upkeep of the hotel!

Overall the place was okay for our purposes. The hallways are rather dingy and rundown and often have a weird smell in them. The pools inside look older and like they aren't cleaned often. Best part of this resort was having direct access to the beach right off the back.

Housekeeping said there were no toppers for the mattress to soften it up front desk said there should have been. First night woke up every hour or two tossing and turning . Second night tried to use Pillows to Sleep on kept sliding off . Third night housekeeping brought a couple of blankets which I left folded and double them up to sleep on top of it was better wish I'd thought of it before . Was an enjoyable stay regardless of lack of sleep. Grand kids really enjoyed the water park chlorine got a little bit much though sometimes. Latitudes restaurant wonderful Pizza one night the next night 45 minutes after the rush to get 2 sandwiches and nachos. One sandwich was supposed to be on pita bread came out on some kind of toasted bread. Everything was lukewarm including the coffee. Rather disappointing after the Great pizza on the first night. Waitress great the first night second night kept disappearing but great attitude overall. Same person.

Booked a room at this hotel through a conference that was I was scheduled to attend. Very outdated and not well maintained. I kindly requested to be moved to another room since I was placed in a room in the next tower, but the staff was uncooperative. Besides the complimentary breakfast there really wasnt anything else positive about it.

We stayed at the landmark for our honeymoon. It was a privately owned room. We were on the 12th floor on the ocean side. Breath taken views with awesome sunrises. We love this place so much were thinking of buying a place here for a retreat

This place has gone to hell. I am riding home sick to my stomach and a terrible headache from the smell in the room. The TV in the bedroom didn't work and kids ran around all night knocking on doors. The manager offered us 20% off our next visit, picture that!

Do Not Stay Here !!! The rooms were dirty, and all the furniture was old and dirty. Roaches, and water bugs, were in the room. Hair from previous guest were on the towels, in the bed, and in the shower. I must say that the pools were in good condition. I spoke with the staff, and they said to me, that they would not recommend this hotel. I paid for 7 days, but checked out after only one day to go somewhere else. They even gave me a hard time when I told them to reimburse me. I had to get the regional manager to actually get my money reimbursed. The pictures online are very deceiving. Do Not Stay Here !!!

It was ok. But I expected more. A lot of walking, it was a long way from the elevator to the room, down several hallways and the hallways were very unpleasant- stinky and musty smelling.
The pools were closed which was disappointing. The price was rather high even though we didn't visit until after Labor Day.

This hotel has two good things going for it, the staff and the location. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The property location is more towards the southern end of Myrtle Beach and is beachfront. Now the not so good. This facility is dated. Elevators broke down a couple of times during the week, cable/wifi went out once hallways and stairways were filthy. Mattresses in the rooms are old and need to be replaced. It seems like most repairs are more like band-aids covered with paint. That being said, if you are looking for an affordable beachfront hotel and don't really care about rooms because you are going to be out and about about most of your stay then this place will be fine. If you want a little more then you may want to look elsewhere.

Off season stay. Late entrance which led to confusion but was taken care of by the staff promptly and compensated for. A little disappointed with the hot tubs not working but the pool was nice and warm. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sand restoration was being completed which hindered the view but understandable do to the cause. Overall it was not bad and is recommended for others needing a get away.

Great service by staff, not to bad of price for rooms. Lazy rivers were down, outside pool was warm. The outside jacuzzi was nice until last two day off stay it was cold. Inside pool cool the whole time. Inside jacuzzis were nice.... Beds were hard though and only half pillows provided. Close to beach access. Over all had good time.

If you're visiting and won't be in the hotel often, this is a quaint place. The rooms are...weird though. Some of them look like they're being renovated and are pretty nice, others not so much. We came with a large group of kids and they accommodated us well and didn't bat an eye at 20 kids hanging out at the pools - which there are a ton of!

Stayed here for a few nights as I've heard this place was good. Overall stay was good but both rooms weren't what we expected. Smaller than what we expected. WiFi is real slow so it was hard using Internet throughout the late nights. Cleaning services could have been nicer. Heard many complaints and I experienced it myself that the elevator area did not have a/c making it that much hotter. Easy access to the beach is a plus but I don't think I'll be staying here again.

My stay at the landmark wasn't satisfying at all. The hotel looks like it is falling apart. Some of the elevators didn't work and the few that did work were beat up on the inside. The beds were old and dirty. The rooms itself hasn't been updated in years and if they were renovated, it was done poorly. The indoor pools didn't look clean and smelled like gallons of bleach was poured into them. The windows for the indoor pool area were broken, still letting the breeze in from outside. The entire indoor pool area needs to be redone. Overall the entire hotel just needs to be remodeled completely.

This place is wonderful and clean. The staff is nice. They also have a variety of swimming pools and hot tubs! Its right next to the ocean front so there is easy access. And the parking garage is across the street with a walk way, so that's a plus.

Im giving it a 3 because I got stuck in the elevator and the restaurants there are crazy pricey. Breakfast was a total of 36 dollars with a six year old, senior, and adult.

Awful, awful housekeeping service. They do not come on time and when they do its last minute. Also very poor hospitality. While explaining the problems i was actually asked by "Tori" at front desk if "we would like to just end our service."? Its just not a hotel that i would ever want to go to again and i will not be recommending this place to anyone.

This resort looks absolutely NOTHING like the website portrays it as. It is disgusting, my wife and I literally checked in and out within 15 minutes of walking around and looking at our room. Decent location is the only thing this place has going for it. It has a stench, the hallways are not air conditioned or cleaned/kept up with. There was an old sandwich in the elevator as we were making our way to our room. The room smelt moldy and we wouldn't even shower In it since we instantly got headaches. The view was awful, it overlooked the other side of the building that needed serious renovations. Our balcony looked unsafe. We would not recommend this place unless an extreme renovation happens as soon as possible.

Stayed at the "resort" mid September. Very disappointed with the quality. Even though it's very inexpensive, one shouldn't have to deal with cockroaches on the bed when you walk in. Overall the property smelled musty. On Sunday, for our checkout, only 1 elevator was working on the south side of the resort. We waited over 20 minutes for the elevator since we were on the 15th floor. I would recommend paying slightly more and staying at an enjoyable hotel.

We rented our room from a private owner and not directly through Landmark. The room itself was nice, but since we didn't rent directly through Landmark the staff treated us like garbage. When we asked a question about anything, the staff just used the same remark; they are here to help Landmark guest and I'm not a Landmark guest since I rented from a private owner. I understand that I rented from a private owner, but I am still a guest at the Landmark resort. I would have expected to be treated the same as other guest. I spent money at their bar and restaurant and they sure didnt stop me from doing that. I will not be looking to stay at this resort in the future just due to the treat from multiple staff. I feel they need a better policy in place for all guest no matter who they rented from. As far as I'm concerned I am a guest at Landmark resort and even though I didn't pay for my room through Landmark, the people I rented from did. Landmark resort needs a refresher course in business and customer service!
