We attended afternoon tea here, tea itself was great and the food and service awesome. I had made reservations beforehand for our group, but had forgotten that one of my guests has a allergy. We told them, and they told us they needed 48hrs notice of allergies but would try to accommodate...but then one of the girls made a comment to the other to make a note but that it's not their fault if anything happens. I think this type of comment shouldn't be made in front of customers...we pay a lot for afternoon tea there and kind of expect better customer service than that.

Great location. Helpful staff, large clean room. Negatives were: soft bed and a view of windows in the other wing just a few meters away. However, we will use the hotel again with a request for a firmer bed!

Really good hotel and a comfy bed. Service was very good. Only minor concern was that the room we had only had one night table and the other side had no outlet to charge my phone overnight.

Reflecting on the search for the best venue, we were right in our gut to book the OMNI, King Edward Hotel in Toronto. Nothing else we looked at compared nor came close to the quality and atmosphere at this hotel. We had our daughter's wedding in the Vanity Ballroom at the OMNI King Edward Hotel on Aug 25, 2018. Many of our guests were from out of town and stayed at the hotel. We also had many of our local family members stay at the hotel to avoid the traffic and hectic activities going on during this time. We were also able to enjoy the many sites the city has to offer. within walking distances. The King Edward Hotel was the connecting point for the bride's family and friends; and a family gathering for many of the groom's family as a "destination wedding". Our guests were amazed at what Toronto has to offer. And the "King Eddy" was their first impression which set the upbeat and positive tone for this whole life event; convenient and offering the best that Toronto has to offer.

The management was amazing and friendly and their participation was focused and targeted to perfection. The bride and groom were so happy with the whole experience and their decision to choose the "King Eddy". We heard nothing but praise, delight and pleasurable experiences from our guests, friends and family during their stay; the team of staff at the hotel ensured there was a seamless journey with all the moving parts it takes to create a perfect wedding experience. Our friends and family complimented the professionalism and sophistication that the staff displayed before, during, and after our event.

The renovations at the hotel revitalized our reflections of this grand and historical icon in the heart of the city of Toronto. The group rates made it possible for many more of the family to participate and enjoy a luxurious stay at this top notch hotel. This was a wonderful place to gather for my daughter's most cherished and memorable life event.

We couldn't of asked for a better gathering place. It was perfect and grand!
The spa and hair salon took care of all our needs and were top notch. The hotel crew were so organized they made the switch from ceremony chairs, within an hour to table settings, while we enjoyed our cocktail hour outside of the main hall. The Alberta beef was perfectly cooked to taste and melted in your mouth, the salmon was crusty and fresh, and the Moroccan dish perfect for a vegetarian pallet. The hotel accommodated all the guests with special needs. The cocktail area was large and had different levels, with a grand bar from the past. So there were lots of walking/chatting spaces. The H'odurves and late night food was top notch. This was a perfect setting for photos too-glass ceilings, and an amazing grand granite rails showcasing the 2nd level of the hotel, overlooking the foyer. The venue was clean, classy and roomy, including the washrooms.

We were extremely delighted with this professional and comfortable venue, including the staff, the food, Andrea, our hotel coordinator, and the accommodations we have received at the King Eddy. Thank you Andrea for making this huge life event and wonderful family gathering memorable for all of us who participated.

We would highly recommend anyone to choose the The Edward Hotel for their special occasions.

I have stayed here twice, both times for meetings. Everything is easy: they have very nice desk service, good wifi, knowledgeable concierges, large high-ceilinged rooms, comfortable beds and furniture, a good spa, and a breakfast/brunch that is consistently delicious. Get the eggs Benedict!

The waiters there are super nice, especially for travelers! ! ! Anything that needs help, they can help you, like sightseeing cars, airport buses, long-distance bus bookings, they will be very helpful to help you! !

Big disappointment! When I booked, I was also enthusiastic because compared to the other 5-star hotels I had seen on various websites, Omni king Edward seemed to be the most competitive in a number of ways. Except for the Lobby, which is definitely nice, and for the location (financial area, full of clubs and attractions), the hotel turned out to be really disappointing. I booked a Deluxe room (not a standard one) which has a shameful bathroom to say the least! It is so small, narrow and cramped that you can barely enter through the door. The sink is so small that there is no space to even place the toothbrush !! Fridge Bar: Completely Empty !!! I wonder what they keep doing ?? Is it part of the furniture ?? (Moreover, rather cheap ..). View from the room: dirty glass for decades and a horrible curtain wall at 2 meters! I would like someone to provide me with explanations about the category assigned to this Hotel; normally a 5-star hotel offers other services and amenities that are not present in this structure. To have a bottle of coca cola, a snack or a non-alcoholic drink in the room and a bathroom suitable for adults (and no fairytale gnomes) I might have had to book a Suite or Penthouse? Staff however courteous and prompt.

The Omni is in my top 5 fav hotels in Montreal. I had the chance to stay in the King Edward's & I received the same warm service, the suites are delectable and the Hotel Food is very decent. Thank you for the great stay xx

The staff is wonderful, the rooms are spacious, it was clean and the location is perfect. Especially the staff, maid cleanliness and location deserve a five star review.

The only thing that makes me not give them the highest score is that the rooms are kind of old and tired with carpet floors, the air conditioning is not working optimally (it s probably very old) and the room sometimes got some very strange odors. It seems like the hotel was aware of it since there were not one, but TWO air fresheners plugged into the sockets in the room... Maybe fix the problem, not cover bad smell with two weird smelling air fresheners . We had a room at the 7th floor.

Beautiful hotel. The room was immaculate on arrival and cleaned just as well every day of my stay. The staff are efficient and courteous, and the breakfasts I had there were done to perfection. Highly recommend.

I've personally stayed at over 21 hotels in the downtown core (Toronto) and while they were all different for various trips, the King Edward is by far the best when you consider all factors (Quality, Service, Comfort, Cost, Amenities, proximity to city centre and hot spots). The lobby is very elegant, great historical touch - the rooms are very posh, recently renovated and give you the feeling that you've been upgraded regardless of which suite you're staying in. The service agents are extremely courteous, very helpful, and almost instantaneous! If you're staying in the downtown core for work or other I recommend this hotel

My last stay at the King Edward goes back a dozen years perhaps. I was in town for a couple of days for a sensitive family matter. I requested a "quiet" room upon reserving via the Omni site. I was pleased to be greeted with an upgrade (to a "quiet" King room) and the quality and service I remembered. Kudos.

They judge people to quickly, always looking for tips, and stare at you like your a paycheck instead of a guest. Their attitude goes up and down, from friendly to sarcastic. Not a good experience. Stayed their for 3 nights and the other 4 someplace else

Had a room on the second floor that heard a lot of noise from the convention areas. Other than that room was pretty nice and clean. Lobby was nice too. In room wifi costs way too much - $15 per 24 hours

King Eddy is my home when in Toronto. They know me by name and greet me every time I come in; they accommodate my room location requests and don't give me a hard time when wanting to access the stairs for a little exercise after dinner. Central, downtown location and proximity to our client is fantastic!

A beautiful hotel with elegant and clean rooms.
We made reservations for jesters tea with my daughter the service was wonderful but the amount of food for $27 plus HST for child and $59.plus HST for adult was very disappointing. We ve had many traditional afternoon teas and this was by far the most expensive with far less food. See pictures attached. We travelled over an hour and were very disappointed.

We went for afternoon tea on a Sunday at the King Eddy. The hotel lobby is beautiful. The restaurant where tea is served is less so. The service was attentive and the tea and all it includes was tasty and filling. I especially enjoyed their private blend. I am undecided if I will go back for tea again only because the dining room is so unappealing. I will go back to the hotel and its Consort bar, it looks fabulous. It has all the character you would expect in a historic property.

Amazing experience from the start! Greetings at the front as I pulled up from valet service, super friendly front desk staff ask for Shirley! Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner is an easy 5/5 not to mention top notch room service! Bar and lounge area was very relaxing a very good environment to wind down from a long day! Rooms were very clean 5/5, exceptional house keeping staff! I'd highly recommend Omni king Edward Hotel to absolutely anyone looking for a 5 star experience!
