I was hired to work here at a corporate event held in the Crystal Ballroom. The whole space itself is very luxurious but as I entered the hotel, the staff by the door and in the lobby were all very friendly as they greeted me and made me feel welcomed. They were also very helpful as they guided me to where I needed to go. Although I didn't stay overnight, I was given a room to use throughout my time there. It was well kept and housekeeping was also very attentive to caring for the space. I can only imagine that it would be at least just as enjoyable to stay here!

The halls smell overwhelmingly like perfume so if you're sensitive to scents I wouldn't recommend staying here. The staff were helpful and friendly but the maids took our towel and washcloths even though they weren't on the floor of the bathroom, contradicting their "green" policy. They also never replaced our washcloths despite taking them away even though we did not want them taken away.

I was at the King Edward hotel for an event in the Crystal Ballroom. The room was beautiful and elegant with fantastic views of the city. The event was a breakfast presentation and the food was fantastic. Really great and I couldn't believe how well done the eggs Benedict were. Only negative was as the Crystal ballroom is on the 17th floor, getting out was a bit slow as the elevators are quite small and there was a lot of people leaving at the same time. Overall, great event and hope they host it at the King Edward next year.

The Crystal ballroom on the 17th floor was beautiful and the service was great too...the problem was that the events speaker got stuck in a faulty King Eddie elevator with 10 other people for 40 minutes which left him 15 min to speak. Disappointing.

I was here for High Tea Xmas party for my work. My experience here was over to top exceptional. Food and beverages were really tasty and the staff were very attentive. Would absolutely recommend and would totally do it again.

Wonderful getaway with my man! I felt like royalty! Beautiful lobby, room, great staff, central to everything. Wifi didnt work, view out our window was of construction, no tub, and we couldn't find an ice machine.

hello... this place has great reputation, however, although the brunch buffet had all the usual foods, we were seated off the dining room in a space that had absolutely no character and gave no warmth what soever. I understand that this was before Christmas and there were no availability anywhere else for brunch, but comm'on... this is not the King Eddie's usual charm. at least the place should have been decorated better for the holidays.... if you have capacity issues, it should have been addressed better than that. Good food... bad set-up

Spectacular main reception area. Beautiful meeting rooms for small gatherings. The food was very good with the only complaint being that dessert was somewhat overwhelming. Paintings of the various English royal crowns on the mezzanine walls are very interesting.

I didn't do much there. I was looking at a resident condo for rent, as 3 floors are dedicated to it, but everyone I met was very pleasant, and made sure I had everything I needed. They were very hospitable.

You may have stayed in dozens of hotels all over the world, but for the price, it would be extremely difficult to match the ambiance, level of service, quality of food, room amenities, staff courtesy, etc; of my recent experience at the Omni King Edward, Toronto! Can't wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at King Edward hotel. We booked the deluxe room and was upgrade to a larger corner room. The decoration was very nice especially the giant chest pieces in the front lobby. The staff was very friendly including the bartender. The bed sheets were very comfy and the room was visually cleaned. But there were two complaints, first, the coffee machine in the room was not working properly and I had to reload the coffee pot several times to get the machine going. Second, the vents were really laugh, it sounded like a truck starting beside me. Not very pleasant when you were trying to have a romantic night.

Overall, I gave it 4 starts because we like the decor, staff and bar.

Elegant, classic hotel, convenient downtown location - just a block from a subway stop. Many nice little touches, of which my favorite was the fruit-flavored water available in the spacious lobby.

One of the best hotel in Toronto, clean as no one, room service is just perfect, concierge gives you first class service, location is perfect, close to everything, my only negative is the noise from the heating system And air conditioning, for the rest this hotel is perfect

Beware: Lots of extra costs and not really dog-friendly. Be prepared to pay $15 CAD for wifi that barely functions and if you bring a dog they make you pay $50 CAD extra AND make you sign a contract stating you won t leave the dog alone in your room for any length of time. What is the point then?!?! For the amount of money you pay + all of the extras you should at least be able to do what you want in your room provided you have a well behaved dog. I stayed at the Omni Parker House in Boston and it was an amazing experience. So far Omni King Edward has been one inconvenience after another. The dog policy is very confusing and misleading. We had already booked and paid extra for the dog when they told us that we still couldn t leave her in our room. That s extremely misleading in my opinion. If I had known about this policy before hand I would not have booked us a room here.
