Family friendly, always busy, great fun.

The Keller Pointe is a local meeting and entertainment adventure. Many locals use the available options. Indoor and Outdoor swimming fun.

Nice gym and a great value for the family. The facility is one of the best in the city. Each of the areas are clean and the equipment is pristine. The only knock is that the locker rooms need to be updated. Other than that I really love the gym. Also great pools for the kids to swim in or outdoors all year around.

The Keller Pointe was my first job that I loved at first and taught me great responsibility. At one time it was an enjoyable place to work but as management has changed, this workplace has continuously declined. As a former headguard, WSI and lifeguard I know the inter-workings of this establishment. There have been concerning instances that have happened to me personally, from hostile comments from management to rules being altered for certain employees (during the 4:45am shift the female guards were told that we must complete a certain amount of cleaning duties before we were allowed to sit down and guard the lap lane swimmers while male guards repeatedly did not follow this rule with no consequences). While there was unfairness over my years here it was not enough to make me quit and leave the work family that I loved. It wasn t until a situation in which I was headguard getting ice from the kitchen for one of my guards when a male custodian who was also in the kitchen closed the door and attempted to grab my arms and kiss me. My managers were not at TKP anymore because it happened after 4:00pm, which is when they leave for the day. I went to one of the managers from the front desk who I felt respected me much more than the aquatics managers and she was very nice and helped me take the steps necessary for what happened. At my next shift, the aquatics management called me into their office and chastised me for going to the front desk manager and questioned the situation even happening at all. I was then told well you re leaving for college in a week anyways so it doesn t matter, from my manager and that nothing else was going to be done. That was completely unacceptable behavior and after coming in on my day off with my dad to talk to the owner of TKP we learned that this was not true and that the facility was doing everything they could to get to the bottom of the situation. Due to this I never returned to work here and hope that all female lifeguards take precaution here, especially if traveling throughout the facility by themselves.

My family, friends, and employees all have been encouraged by me to workout at this place for years now. It used to be very friendly, clean, and nice. I had a horrible encounter today with a ride front desk girl, and my husband has recently had the same experience. The new front desk women are rude and disrespectful. Also the place has stopped being clean. We will be canceling our family membership there soon. For the amount of money we pay, we expect much more. I will also encourage others to find a different facility.

Great set up but my family could not do the indoor pools because our eyes and lungs were burning due to poor ventilation and the amount of chlorine! The outside is very nice although I wish were the splash pad was they would move the kids area all of the kids toys on the kids jungle gym splash everywhere and make it to where you re getting splashed even when you re not in the area! I hope they make changes we have 8 more months in Keller.

The pool hours work out well for our family--we like to go swim after school. The facility is clean and the staff members are very friendly. The fitness classes are great too--especially the zumba class on Tuesday with Christina.

The basketball court is professional and clean. It's always kept nice and it's usually not too crowded during 10:45am -1:00pm on weekdays. Drawback of this facility is that parents bring their children to workout and there is no age limit for the court so it's sometimes swarming with unattended children. Really wish The Keller Pointe would tighten up the rules for the courts so that little kids weren't running around when adults are trying to workout :/

Facilities are nice, but children under 14 aren't allowed on the running track or the gym floor, even with supervision :-( I'm sure it's an insurance thing but it's still annoying for those of us who want to encourage fitness at a younger age.

Keller Pointe is well run and open conveniently for its customers. The locker rooms are clean and tidy and staff are constantly around to serve customers. The indoor pool and the track are great extras and there a re a lot of programs and classes to select from. We are glad we joined.

We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor area however we could not stay at the inside pool for more then 10 min as the chlorine was so strong. This much chlorine is NOT good for little kids! I also think ventilation is poor in the inside pool area. My friend is still nauseated since we entered the inside pool area. Disappointed with our experience. Correct this issue please as I am not the first person to bring it up!

We are regulars, we've been going there for years, my daughter has had several birthday parties there the birthday parties are undeniable the best place in DFW to have a birthday party and my husband loves the coffee in the morning in the gym and we love the staff there very nice.

I love going to the pool. The lifeguards especially are really kind. They explain the rules in a calm, professional fashion to my younger siblings, and I appreciate the patience they have. One lifeguard was very kind to the kids on the slide, her name was Kristina I believe.

I just go to the dog park but it's pretty cool setup. It's a good size, well kept and they keep adding improvements. Convenient parking, easy in and out. It's rarely crowded and the people are amazingly nice.

The last time I went to Keller pointe was last week for Wednesday night pick up basketball. 2 fights broke out and one kid had his face stomped into the ground. Another guy tried to fight me by pushing up against me. No Keller pointe employee was there to intervene. Not a very safe environment for the younger kids. Bad examples were set.

My family and I reserved two banquet rooms for my parent s 50th wedding anniversary. Although there were a few issues in getting everything communicated and set up on the big day, Jennifer (the manager) made sure things were made right for us. She was very kind and considerate.

We have been going to Keller Pointe for years and participated in classes and youth activities. There is. New lady there that was rude to a group of parents that were coming in to bring their kids to volleyball. She literally asked them if they could read because they missed the large sign at the front. They apologized and were friendly about it even though she was incredibly rude.
Then I go to bring my daughter to volleyball and when I went through the back door there was a game going on and nobody there to check temperatures. So I went through the front and the same lady from the week before was there. I told her there was a game and nobody was there to take temperatures. She said you still have to go through the line, that is what the sign says. Aside from the zero customer service. There is also nobody taking temperatures or doing health checks so why are they forcing us all through a small crowded door instead of walking in an area where we could actually spread out.
I would check the news people working the desk and the cleanliness of your facility. That is why people are leaving. It isn t worth the high cost!

This is more than a gym. It s a really nice family friendly recreation center. The summer activities are awesome for the kids and it comes equipped with an indoor and outdoor pool, which is perfect when it rains. Also there are two huge Basketball
courts each within 6 Basketball
Goals.

Has everything you need to get a good workout in, or just go for a swim. My kids love the outdoor pool area with 2 slides, a lazy river, and a splash pad playplace for the little ones that can't swim yet.

Funny how I have been going to this place for almost a year and my child has come with me every time I have gone. Today, I was told that she was too young and not allowed in the facility with me. What's funny is when a child is 10, you can leave them on un-supervised at the swimming pool. At that age, they can't even come in and sit while you work out where you can see them and supervise them. The rates here have gone up quite a bit, and that coupled with the lack of customer Service and friendliness of the employees means I will not be renewing our membership.

The Keller Pointe has its perks. It is an enjoyable environment for kids. It has all they could need. However, being a former employee, I must inform those as to how the place is run from the inside. The management was changed last summer to a new manager that has made many changes that hurt the employees and make the workplace a hostile environment. The management has removed the lifeguards from taking breaks and informed them they must clean on their breaks . This is borderline abuse as the lifeguards are having to stand in the 100 degree heat for hours. They are not even allowed to check their phones to see if a parent or somebody else has tried to reach out to them. The manager spends their time watching cameras the whole time looking for actions to complain about.

My first interaction with the manager was when the manager walked into the pool room and started yelling at the head lifeguard. This, plus passive aggressive comments, managed to make the female head lifeguard start to cry. The manager asked if she even knew what she was doing. The head lifeguard even filed a harassment complaint to HR and nothing has been done about it. The manager then had two head lifeguards following her as she pointed out stains on the ground and as to how they needed to be removed. Not the lifeguards job. but the maintenance job. She then informed the head lifeguards to use a chemical to clean stains off the tile near the entrance to the pool. On the chemical bottle it stated to keep away from children and is eye irritating. The manager wanted it to be used WHILE people were in the water.

The Keller Pointe has gone downhill extremely quickly. Nobody enjoys going to work here. This must be fixed.

Keller Pointe is terrible if you have young kids!

Keller Pointe is terrible if you have young kids!
The indoor pool, splash pad and outdoor pool don t open till noon on the weekends and 4pm on weekdays! Are you kidding?! I have to drive to Grapevine Rec center to take my kids to an indoor pool. During the school year the only swimming lessons offered are at dinner time, nothing during the weekdays for moms and kids under 5!!The children s area of the indoor pool and the splash pad (the only splash pad in Keller) should be open from 9am - 12 everyday. There are almost no activities for kids either. Other rec centers have tons of camps for young kids including dance, gymnastics, art, nature, sports, yoga and others, Keller pointe has like two options, almost nothing for kids under 5. This is just so disappointing.
Also, if you have a baby or might have one in the next year or two, don t pay for an annual membership! We made this mistake and when I tried to workout after having my baby is was kicked out of the gym! The kid s area doesn t take babies until they are over 6 months and you may not park your stroller with a newborn anywhere in Keller pointe - don t even try it, you will be ejected. Apparently a stroller tucked out of the way might cause a tripping hazard, but the 40 treadmills and 30 ellipticals do not???....
As a taxpayer I expect and demand more from a taxpayer funded establishment. I ve seen many comments and talked to many people about these issues. Something needs to change; most likely leadership and policies.
In the mean time, I m excited for the new Southlake rec center to open, sounds like it will offer a lot of what Keller Pointe is lacking.
