great food sat outside to avoid the rona..good service
Good food. Good service. Good prices. But the real reason to go is for all the decorative objects on the walls from the 80s and older. A great place to take a first date because there are plenty of conversation starters.
Nice place to eat, good service, nice people. The food is great. I recommend people to come eat here
Good food, not a long wait to sit but long to get food, friendly. If we hadn't waited so long to get about (30min for pancakes & eggs & sausage) we would give it 5
Freshly made muffins, pleasant and witty waitresses and nice atmosphere and good food . Popular spot.
Always a hot delicious breakfast. Reasonably priced
Solid breakfast and decent prices. Good to bring the family to
I was excited to discover this diner. I live on Rufe Snow and there are no good breakfast places in the immediate area.
The decor is great...lots of items remind me of my childhood. The service was good, not great.
I went with an omelette which was good but a little overly salted. I may be back; I may not.
First time eating there and the breakfast foods was very good ,the waitress was very friendly and the cost was very reasonable. Great place and will return
I was on business. Was looking for something with a homemade vibe and I found it here at Stevie's. Great food and service.
My favorite Skillet dish. Great food, good price. Awesome iced te.
We love this place. It's one of those great little food finds. We've been there three times so far and I've tried something different every time and every one has been excellent. From the coffee to the last bite. Service is just right. They are right there if you need them and they check up on you without over doing it. It's a small place that almost always has a line but the food comes out fast and you usually get a seat pretty quickly without feeling rushed. Definitely worth the wait if there is one though. Perfect portions too. You leave feeliing satisfied and content. Definitely not hungry or miserable from having too much on the plate. All in all a great stop for breakfast. Still gotta make in there for lunch but I'm sure that's a homerun too.
Went here to eat at 1:40 pm and store close's at 2pm and lazy staff didn't want to serve us ..
Won't be going back!
Good service but blah food. Most bland chicken fried steak I've ever had.
The food is very good. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Great retro feel.
We love the eggs benedict, perfect every time! Nice interesting atmosphere and friendly service.
With the exception of the waitress never checking to see if we needed drink refills (we had to get them ourselves) everything was AMAZING! We ll be back and hopefully we will have a waiter/waitress who can keep drinks filled. Bravo on the Breakfast Burger! #Mindblown!
This was second visit my husband's first, he very impressed with food, the service was awesome & fast. The servers are very friendly too. The diner is decorated with items of the past, while waiting for food or eating you can look back reminisce of yester years!!
Wow!! Why am I just learning about this awesome little place? Great food and service.
One of the few truly breakfast oriented restaurants in North Fort Worth, so scarcity gives it an extra star. Service was good and never saw the bottom of my coffee cup.
Very nice place and I hope it was a locally owned establishment. That's what I went for but the breakfast was excellent
Great service, awsome food, friendly family restaurant, did I mention the food and staff were amazing.
Food is always good.correction food used to be good.they have been slipping a lot in the quality of food.
Its okay I've had much better. The food presentation isn't that great and the pancakes taste mediocre.
Loved the decor that took me back to my childhood. The food was excellent and service was very friendly. Definitely a place to make a regular stop!
Went there 6/30/18 with my daughter & BBF! We all had something a little different! ALL was great!!! Only complaint I have is the OJ is can & nasty!!! Otherwise GREAT place!!!
This place is simply great. Great food! Great Service! Great Prices! but most of all their staff is stellar!
Great food. Nice and cozy setting. Great customer service
Great place, coffee and pancakes just like i like . Very nice service and good price
We went here due to the high rating. I don't understand a rating higher than 1 or 2. My expectations were low since it was a diner. The scrambled eggs were overcooked even though I asked for soft and obviously had too much cream and water in them. The waitress gave me a choice of bread. Imagine my surprise at the extra charge for my bread because I ordered one of the choices she gave me but did not alert me that there was a surcharge for rye bread. No butter. The place was empty but the waitress disappeared. The coffee was tasteless. The sausage was hard to chew and terrible. The cashier lied and overcharged. Unfortunately, I did not do an inspection before we ate: The restaurant was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. This is hardly as good as a diner.
Food is usually really good. Daughter and I love the 70/80 s theme. Jukebox doesn t work, long waits are the norm. Service is a shot in the dark unless you get Irma. She is awesome!! One time, great server quick service howdy do!! Next time watched as our server took her girlfriend s order before ours despite us being there five /ten minutes longer. Girlfriend ate, paid, and left before our food got to us. 0 offers to refill coffee. Anyways, just don t go with high hopes for great service and you ll probably not be disappointed. Ask for Irma s section.
I love this place. My son always ask to come there. But the last time we went a few days ago our service was not so great. So I'm not going to base that one time on my whole review and we will be back just hope service is better the next time.
The hostess had no idea how to manage crowds. If you are a group larger than 2, don't even try to go. It was not busy, all the customers that were there were monopolizing their table well after they had paid. Management made no attempt to try and push people along. Ultimately we stood there for 45 minutes and just had to leave. The hostess told us she didnt know what to do because everyone is paid, but just won't leave. I would say they have 20, 2 seat tables, and maybe 6, 4 seat tables...nothing bigger than that. They made no effort to try and pull the 2 seat tables together to accommodate my group of 4. They just kept seating small groups. All this restaurant does is waste people's time. I will never go back. If you don't have the sense to ask the groups wasting everyone's time to leave, then why even open for business. You want turn people over fast, you need to push them along. You can't just let them sit there all day. Especially since this place is tiny.
Amazing variety including international foods and friendly service
We arrived at 11:00am on a Friday morning and were promptly asked by a waitress to go ahead and find a table. The diner was not extremely busy as there were several tables available. We sat there for 10 minutes with no one approaching our table and taking our order so we took our business to the other breakfast joint down the street. Also, while we were there an obvious regular came in and was immediately waited upon. We had hoped for a better experience.
Cute diner with tons of 80s memorabilia. Food was pretty good and reasonably priced. I had the griddle combo with french toast and my husband had an omelet. Both were tasty with decent sized portions.
Fun environment and good food. Stevie's Skillet is really good along with their French Toast.
My husband and I come for brunch all the time. Good food, affordable prices, Great alternative to The pancake house. I LOVE the Retro theme of the Diner.
Stevie's food is always good and the retro kitsch look is engaging. Never had bad food here, but be warned it gets really busy on weekends.
We came here on a Friday morning around 10am. Server took our order, and answered any questions we had. She was very friendly and food came out quickly. Service and food were both great. I especially loved the decor and couldn't stop looking at all the cool memorabilia from decades past. We plan on returning.
Great food and friendly service. Bit of a wait but food was awesome.
Food was okay....maybe our waitress was just having a bad day, but she didn't check on us at all. We had to walk up to he counter for refills on our drinks.
Had to get my own refill on my drink. Maybe they where just to busy that day. Food was salty.
I ordered a plate of corned beef with grits and toast. Make sure that the eggs are sunny side up. I like combining them with grits, corned beef and a little bit of hot sauce. It s so good!!
The only thing I didn t like about this place was that they use too much disinfectant to clean the tables. I understand it s for COVID-19. But my throat was tingling.
Cute place w/ lots on the menu and great service :) u get to pick where u sit and the chairs have gold sparkley seatssss
The place is cool. The food is nothing special I don't i will go back. The employees are not friendly. Limited sides on the breakfast. Dead cockroach on the floor.
Really enjoyed the food last visit but this last time..i ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and got fried eggs with a piece of cheese on it. Cakes was supper dry..
Not happy
Such a cool place. Great service. Great food. Great vibes.
This is a really cool place full of nostalgia if you are an 80s baby with delicious food.
No complaints about Irma, she's a great waitress. I didn't really care for the spandex on the one waitress, her big butt was in my face when she bends over, not appetizing at all. Wrong attire for a larger person serving.
Food has always been good, but lately bacon is hard and dry.
Fast, friendly service and the food was homemade and excellent.
Was in a town for a family a reunion and I enjoyed this restaurant. Iram was very nice. I love Belgium waffles and this hit the spot along with the orange juice. I loved the orange juice.
We were seated fairly close to closing time, but still received courteous service. The food was wonderful, and so was the atmosphere. We had to frequently refill our own coffee cups, and I was disappointed when told that they were out of Hollandaise sauce for the Eggs Benedict. It was still tasty without, though. I would go back, definitely. Sunday mornings are tricky times to eat out. ::D
I've only had breakfast there, and it was pretty good! Very friendly service. It's somewhat small, so don't be surprised if it is crowded. Very clean place decorated nicely!
This was an ejoyable Sunday after church treat. It takes an owner to know an owner, and this place has a personal touch that is surpassed by none. We frequent local restaurants and found this diamond in the rough. Thanks to the staff for making our Sunday morning!
Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly. Staff very nice and attentive. Highly recommend Stevie's
Friendly and fast service with mediocre food. Coffee was not very strong. I ordered breakfast quesadilla and it was basically a small omelet in a tortilla. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and we weren't impressed. The hot sauce and sour cream came in pre-packaged containers. I was hoping to find a little breakfast cafe like the one back home. The search continues.
Food is not terrible but the service has been below deplorable 3 out of my 4 trips. Extreme disappointment.
We arrived party of 6 so two tables had to be put together for our party size (no biggie). There was a couple sitting inbetween two tables and they got up and left. Two people came in behind us and they got seated in the table that was the inbetween two tables instead of at an end table so other two were free to push together for us. I was surprised at the lack of forethought & lack of thinking/effort/focus that we should be priority in seating. There is zero organization between the staff. They are scattered, unmanaged, running around like crazy people because of the unorganized mess they are working within. I don t blame them. We finally were seated and at one point the waitress did not come back to refill coffee so I asked one of the young busers if she could refill our coffee; oh my goodness she sneered at me and and with NO smile said "ok" and she continued to clean the table. Took her time and in the meanwhile I am trying to find our waitress since it is a clear indication our service isn't important to anyone there. So disappointin! We will never go back!!
Please provide the staff a better leader for the floor. Get them some help or organization or your customers are just going to go elsewhere.
Markie was a very good waitress. Food -excellent ! Will gi back.
Just ok. Kind of expensive compared to other diner type restaurants in the area. Limited menu but enough to pick a "standard" type breakfast/lunch. Probably won't go back.
I've been here several times on trips from the UK and it's great. Good food, great service and will keep coming
The service everyone we have been here has been friendly and inviting. The food delicious, the muffins are huge!!! Just all in all a great breakfast/ lunch spot!
Hash browns were crispy and atmosphere was good. Service was a bit slow due to not having enough wait staff. Tables were not bused when I walked in making it odd to find a table. It's not breakfast, it's breakslow. Food was good though.
Neat atmosphere, good food. Good selection, great staff
Can get packed but the nostalgia and food is excellent!
Awesome food. Love the decor. Takes you back in time.
The food was good. I ordered a Stevie s Skillet and the Patty Melt. I looked through the kitchen door and saw my toast was done at 12:20, I ordered at 12:15. I saw that my food was sitting on the heater for 15 minutes (till 12:47). The server was nice and she was taking orders while the other younger server with glasses talked to friends or guests. I waited till around 12:46 and commented that everyone (2 other families) got their food but us. At this point I already knew it d be cold. The skillet was unevenly hot and the sausage was burnt and flavorless. The left side was cold, middle was lukewarm and the right was totally scolding hot. I also ordered a side of grits that was hardened and cold while my toast was limp and cold. I don t like to complain so I ate my eggs. Literally after I get my food, the guest who ordered 5 minutes before i got my food had his food in front of him. Everyone but us got their food and so it s irritating because I live this place but now I think I ll not come back.
Good food and friendly staff! Eggs Benedict is my favorite, my kids love eating here for the pancakes and retro atmosphere. If your a child of the 70's or 80's you'll think it's rad.
Had first visit yesterday. Great breakfast. They told me chicken fried steak was special today. So it was chicken fried steaks today. Awesome to say the least. My new favorite place for breakfast and lunch.
