1 Star Is Too High A Score - horribly rude when asked about gluten free options! Actually told "don't eat here" when asked about food options when ordering. Unbelievable!! And I am local, wanting to experience this place with a friend from out of the country... Inexcusably rude and never, ever plan to attempt to eat here or encourage others to be potentially treated so terribly... #GetAClue

Husband and daughter have a sweet tooth, so wanted to check it out. A lot of backed goods. The pumpkin spice coffee did not taste like pumpkin or spice. The service from the young man at the register.

Excellent food but ...bought 9 cookies and when i saw how clerk was shoving them into one bag I politely asked her to use two bags so cookies wouldnt break. She continued shoving and I politely said, please dont break the cookies. She finished shoving and glibly replied, I wont break them. Sadly most of the cookies were broken so was not able to use them for guest party dessert. Shame on me for not insisting! Shame on the management for not properly training their employees. Will go back again but will insist on better handling of baked goods. Cassidy was the clerk that shoved cookies into one bag. Also not sure if anyone at the restaurant reads these reviews because all the responses are the same.

the setting, atmosphere and staff were great. We ordered a pecan cinnamon roll, breakfast burrito and coffee. The pecan roll was good but definitely not the best I've ever had. Coffee was fantastic and probably drank more than i should have. The breakfast burrito was good but for over $8 i expected something bigger. Again it was good, but should be priced around $5 or less. We also got a loaf of bread to go but have not tried it yet. Overall the place is great and we will go back, I'll just skip the breakfast burrito next time.

Even though my parents and I unknowingly came in 5 minutes before they closed, they still let us stay after to sit and enjoy our order! Fantastic food, fantastic employees, and fantastic service! Just all around fantastic!

Stumbled across with place while actually going to another restaurant and opted to eat here since it was closer to our parking. Glad I did!!! Homemade pies and bread. Lovely place. Food was great, friendly staff. We will be going back.

Great place to get a at home style meal! You order first and then find a seat with a place marker that will show the food runners where to deliver your food. dont be scared away by if the lines are long they move quickly and its more than worth it!

Skip it. The most unorganized restaurant experience in town. Cramped tables, no one knows when breakfast stops and lunch begins. Was told at the register that if we order lunch it will take a minimum 30 minutes because they hadn't started preparing lunch yet (11:00 am). That's understandable untill we were told that it was also too late to order breakfast. If you get black coffee go ahead and burn your tongue with it because Exxon has better coffee. They still get one star because their specialty coffee drinks are good . Also the bathrooms are closed for cleaning right in the middle of whatever rush this is because I'm still not sure what meal they're serving, and was just approached by an employee to tell me half of what we did manage to order is now unavailable because they don't have it. This place sucks. Save yourself Go anywhere else.

Awesome place for breakfast. The food is amazing, the baked goods are very tasty, and the coffee is good. Plan to stand in line if you go on the weekend because it is a very popular spot. Free parking garage across the street.

Came here for the first time today and got a Iced Americano.... I have to say this was the BEST ESPRESSO I have had around Franklin. Didnt get a chance to try the food yet but as far as the coffee goes it's among the best I've ever had. Everyone was also very nice and accommodating !!! Highly recommend !!!

Good food. Pastries were excellent.

Good food. Pastries were excellent.
Didn t give 5 stars because it was difficult with even just two kids and two adults to find seating, get our coffee and waters, etc. Felt I spent most my time walking back and forth from farthest table to the counter getting things we needed, jam, syrup, spoon etc.

Fresh and delicious foods. Always has a packed house, and a great atmosphere. Their pastries are very good. I recommend them if you're in for a quick and light fare. Great restaurant for those visiting for a small town feel.

If you visit downtown Franklin this is a must particularly for breakfast or lunch. All sorts of coffee drinks, their tea is so good! Any of their desserts since this is a bakery:chess bars, peanut butter pie, any of their cookies. Their soups are all good, my fave is the beer cheese. And then u dip your bread in it. Viking bread is my fave. Come in for whole pies or whole loaves of bread. Chicken salad and other salads, paninis. And they have live music sometimes at night..

Merridee's is a must try in Nashville. Their meals, pastries, and coffees are all wonderful! Even when they're packed, the wait for the food usually isn't long. Love this place! (I get the breakfast sandwich or the biscuits and gravy)

Went March 3rd and it was absolutely delicious. Had hands down, the best meatloaf (other than my mommas) Mac and cheese and amazing mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Enjoyed chocolate silk pie. A true gem of franklin!

The food here is made on site and is fresh Daily. There are many healthy options. There are many options from homemade sweet rolls to breads to pies to brownies. You can watch them make the biscuits and the atmosphere is very country like.

Great food, bit overpriced. review would be higher but they just implemented a dumb "dine-in" cup policy. You can no longer get a cup with a lid if you are eating there. But they said they'll give me a Togo cup of I ask when I leave? Just give me a cup to begin with.

QUALITY: The food was enjoyable, but not incredible. Slightly above average. A better choice than Mc-D's or Wendy's or something.

APPEAL: Cool cafe/bakery style place. A very "local" feel.

SERVICE: This is definitely their weak point. You receive your orders as they are finished, so you may get called to the counter to pick something up (taco bell-style) several times. The preparation is pretty slow when they're busy - the only things that I ordered that weren't ready made were an omelette and a coffee, and it took about five minutes for the coffee ( and they had a separately dedicated-drink-guy working) and about 20 minutes for the omelette (with 5-6 people working total). They are loud enough when they call you, but they don't enunciate well and it's noisy in there (I know it sounds stupid, but it's kind of annoying). I had things left out of my order (that didn't make it onto my ticket), and I didn't receive things that I did order (were on my ticket). And if this happens, they are very busy so it's an ordeal to have your order corrected. A few items are also a bit expensive. I paid $7 for a smalllll omelette (maybe a 2 egg-er omelette, with 3 toppings). They are very busy (free parking garage right across the street), so you don't get much attention. The staff is fairly personable and friendly, I felt that the bad aspects of the service manifested from them being so busy.

Worth going to if you're already in the area. My service experience could have been because it was a Saturday morning, I haven't been there multiple times, or when it might not be so busy. I think I would come back again :)

The chair I was about to sit on was dirty and had food and stains on it. The Pretzel Bites, which were suggested to us, were too salty and the mustard sauce very spicy. One waitress was passive aggressive when we didn t order anything else because the food was clearly too overpriced for its quality. We had to ask thrice for them to bring the check. Overall there is a lot of room for improvement. Not the best place for dinner. Not covering their noses with masks when serving food and not adequate distance between the tables.

Great place right when you enter sweet smells greet you. Food was wonderful and staff very friendly. If you are ever in the neighbor stop by you won't be disappointed. Omlets are great and the fresh man cinnamon rolls are incredible.
