I want to thank Nick Christie 4 picking up the ball where others left off. He was diligent with the calls to providers as well as keeping me informed. Unfortunately, the sub contracted providers refuse to negotiate other than payment plans even though they have been substantially compensated by insurance. I was excited to get help with a confusing medical billing problem but all they did was relay a discount-if-immediate-pay-in-full offer. No good. I thought they were going to help get my insurance co (Cigna) to cover what they should and/or get the hospital to fix a coding error but all they did (after 6 or 8 weeks wait) was pitch me a bit of a discount from the hospital to pay in full. They did nothing to help me deal with the insurance company. NOT HELPFUL.

They don't do anything that you can't do yourself. They also don't respond to any form of communication to them. My bill now went to collections because of them. Avoid them at all costs.

This has got to be the hardest company to deal with I ve ever come across. They COMPLETELY dropped the ball on negotiating my bills. I could have saved time and done it myself. Now all of my bills are in collections and my credit has taken a major hit. Do you think The Karis Group cares?! No. But it wouldn t know either way because I can t get anyone on the phone.
