Brandi has advocated for us going on the better part of twelve months. What began as a routine annual physical turned into a diagnosis of AML, induction treatment, consolidation treatment, and finally a bone marrow transplant. Obviously insurance doesn t cover everything, so it s been a challenge to cover medical expenses while I ve been unable to resume work. Thankfully I m nearly back to normal and I expect a green light to return to my life soon. It s with a new perspective that I thank Karis for their help managing the extra costs over time
