Watched Hamilton here and cried like a baby. What a gorgeous space. The drinks were delicious as well. They also serve finger foods as well. Had a sandwich which was pretty tasty. Not sure if you're allowed to take the food in the theatre (pretty sure you aren't) but the drinks are allowed. Also, there are TVs in the lobby area in case you get stuck waiting to go back to your seat (learned that from experience). Good to have so you won't miss a thing!

As always, The Opera House is a beautiful and historic venue. Our mother is disabled and the staff went above and beyond ensuring she had a safe and very enjoyable experience.

From the ticket sales ensuring we had excellent, convenient seats, to the doorman, to the ushers...everyone was so friendly and professional.

Being a DC area native, I've been to the Kennedy Center many times over the years and I cherish the experience every time.

If you are a person with a disability, especially a service animal, you will be 100% welcome here. They truly show that the arts are for everyone.

After taking our assigned spot, where my service dog was a little cramped, an usher asked to move us to a better spot and immediately got us substitute tickets.

We were greeted with completed professionalism and you could tell they were trained specifically for service dog etiquette and I have never felt more welcome in an establishment.

Thank you Kennedy Center for your true hospitality and professionalism.

Beautiful place with great music and art and shopping in gift shops, and food at multiple locations and price levels, with a free concert at 6pm every day, and beautiful views in all directions from roof top terrace, with a free shuttle to and from the nearby metro rail station. 50 % off price of food and drinks at snack bar during happy hour, before the daily free concert on stage in lobby.

A great place to watch a show or a concert. You can now pay parking one day in advance and get a discount. Definitely use a mapping program to find the garage entrances one on either side of the building. Lots of parking under the building and good access to interstate 66 if you are going to Virginia.

Because of slow security, they closed the doors and made me miss the first part of my show. Even though I was in line 20 min before closing. Beware, they do not care about their visitors at all. Not sure why they made me and the other hundred people left in slow security wait to go in when we still had to interrupt the show for everyone to stand and let us to our seats. Pretty poor and silly system with no logic. As for the show, the production value was there though the audio was very poor in some large segments.

I truly love that place. A huge building dedicated to the performing arts. The Opera house is impressive. They offer free performances every evening in the main hall to enjoy all the family. The parking is expensive ($23) but you have the option of walk from the Foggy Bottom Station (5-10 minutes) or to take the Kennedy Center's free shuttle just in the door of the station.

Beautiful performance by the NSO and Maxwell. It was really nice not having any phones or electronics in the performance room it really allowed us to connect to the artist and enjoy the beautiful sounds.

What a beautiful center. The staff was very friendly. We sat in 'cheap' seats but they had a great view. The sound was great and there are some very pleasant outside areas to get some air.

The Kennedy Center is a beautiful building housing three different performance spaces that host a wide variety of top tier performances and events. Additionally, there are free daily performances at the Millennium Stage in the lobby, and the rooftop terrace offers fantastic views of the city.

If you live nearby or are a tourist, you must take in a show at this iconic place. High ceilings, wonderful atmosphere with the river nearby, it is such a lovely place to hear music or see live entertainment. This is a huge part of what Washington DC is about, you must come here!
