Beautiful place. Really easy to get to from the metro. It is either a quick walk or a free shuttle ride from the foggy bottom stop. The shuttle is literally right in front of the stop. It is great. The Millennium Stage is free, accessible, and just a joy. The Kennedy Center also has great views of the Potomac.

Whether you are here for a show, concert or cultural event, the Kennedy Center provides a quality artistic experience. The Nationsl Symphony Orchestra is a treat! The parking is good, but if you take the Metro you can simply hop on the shuttle and save yourself some hassle. Cocktails available in the foyer and halls tend to be slightly over-priced considering the size of the pour.

An iconic venue. Takes over the DC skyline with its unique architecture. The rooftop is great for 360 views of DC and can be accessed without having to pay anything. Must see a show here.

The Kennedy Center is a beautiful facility. There are a number of different theaters in the venue, and they are always offering a great selection of shows. They have a cafe, it s a little expensive but the view if you chose to eat outside is outstanding. Definitely chose this venue for an outstanding theatre experience!

If you have any show arrive early at least between 30 to 45 minutes early. Traffic will be an issue and if you decide to park at the location it will be packed so please prepare for that. Though you could easily park somewhere else on the streets and take an Uber/taxi/lyft I would recommend that. But if you insist on driving there then please heed my warning

This is one of my favorite places to visit in the District. In addition to the high quality performances and activities, there are great outdoor spaces for fresh air and reflection. I highly recommend seeing shows on the less popular stages. They are less expensive, more intimate, and always fantastic.

Loved the Winter Lanterns exhibit at The Reach! The signs of the zodiac were neat but the real stars were some of the animals including pandas, turtles, tigers, and even a Dragon! Can't wait to see what they have there next. Only complaint is the walkways are fairly narrow given the large crowds. They could better manage the crowds by keeping everyone flowing in the same direction through the installation, particularly on the pathway through the signs of the zodiac that dead ends leaving no option but to fight back through the crowd to get out.

This is quite the grand place, but it's always missing something for me; I'm not sure what. The cafeteria upstairs is overpriced -- $10 for a salad, and $20-26 for an entree. The view from the terrace, however, is worth the visit, and it's free. Take a bag lunch and eat your dinner on the picnic tables there.

There is plenty of parking because this place is a product of the 1960s, but when they say the garage has 6' clearance, they mean it. I had to take the tandem rack off of my SUV to get it in there.

Unfortunately, it's a bit of a walk from the nearest Metrorail station.

With such a diversity of musical and dance options, one would be hard pressed not to find something enjoyable any time of year. In addition to ticketed performances, the Millennial Stage offers shows free to the public.

As a single man in DC, I was able to go to the Kennedy Center very inexpensively for a symphony. It was amazing. One of my highlights of living in DC was heading to the Kennedy Center.

This is one of my favorite places to see a variety of performances. The seating is pretty good anywhere in the middle but being on the sides will cut your view from part of the stage. Drinks and snacks are quite pricey but they have cute Kennedy Center cups that allow you to take your drink into the halls which was fantastic.

I had broken my foot/ankle prior to seeing "The Book of Mormon". I called to see if I could get a wheelchair, but I had no idea what service came with that request!! The porter at the front entrance wheeled me all the way down the Hall to the Opera House. He handed me to an usher who whizzed me to my seat. He came back at Intermission to offer to help me to the restroom, and was there at the end of the performance to take me directly to my car. My husband and I can't thank the Kennedy Center enough for all this help!
Oh, by the way, "The Book of Mormon" was FANTASTIC! It amazes me that something as crude(bad language/sexual innuedoes) as this production could also be sweet and heartwarming.

Free weekday evening concerts. Hamilton performances are held there.

Kennedy center has the best shows in DC. They're the most expensive, but they're also the best. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. There's food for before the show if you want and great drinks ($$) for during the show. Wander the halls and enjoy the free daily shows and color old show exhibits of famous costumes from previous shows.

The Kennedy Center is the premier D.C. venue for performance art. They host the Washington National Opera, and the theatres and stages are top notch. They have talented musicians for free on the Millennium Stage. I have been to many performances, and all have been fantastic. If you want to see a great production of opera, musical theatre, or even comedy, you want to be in attendance at the Kennedy Center.

Nice place to go if you wanna feel richer than you actually are. They claim to have affordable tickets but never in my life was I able to get one, the mytix are always sold out yet I walk in and there's always empty seats in the hall.

Now that we know to pre-order parking at the Kennedy Center, parking is easy here (even with the current outdoor theater construction on the south side of the building). The cafe & restaurant up top are convenient options for food...and the little concession stands on the main floor can ride you over (food or drink) if need be. Multiple theaters in the complex mean there are diverse offerings here. The two gift shops are reasonable.

What a great venue to see a concert! We saw Squeeze in the concert hall, Marshall Crenshaw opened with an acoustic set, great acoustics, intimate, all seats are good, particularly the box seats. Easy to get drinks before or during and there Team was super helpful and friendly. Definitely check out the roof top patio, great views. It s really easy to get there from any hotel via Uber and get back using their taxi stand which moves fast, also walkable. If you get a chance, see a concert at the Kennedy Center.
