We stayed here for our special night with my partner! It was a wonderful stay with an awesome room. We had the jacuzzi suite, it was very spacious and in a good location. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming and seemed to genuinely care. The overall experience was very remarkable! Very extremely recommended!

Would NOT recommend this hotel for the following reasons:

- broken thermostats in rooms, therefore no heat
- found poop streaks in my toilet bowl upon arrival
- front desk staff less than willing to help or rectify the situation
- doesn t enforce mask wearing in indoor public spaces

Wowza! Gorgeous architecture, incredible restaurant and if you choose correctly...a room with a spa-sized tub with a view of NYC! Not to be missed if you re planning a stay in the City. This jewel is perfectly perched in the heart of the Village.

Very nice hotel. The size of the room was shocking compared to other rooms a stay in down south but still nice. Hallways extremely narrow. I just felt closed in while in the common area bc so extremely narrow. I know this is what should be expected in NY, so that is why they still have 5 stars! Hotel staff very friendly and professional.

We booked through Linda and had the best experience! She is made us feel like we were speaking with an old friend. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our family with our stay at walker! Without a doubt our new favorite hotel in New York! Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful accommodating our travel with a baby. The dining experience was wonderful! From preparation to presentation. Our rooms were always clean and the turn down service was above and beyond. We can t wait to visit again!!

Horrible experience. Booked with them and wanted to pay in advance bc it was for my partner and his boss while they were working Fashion Week. They sent me a credit card authorization form which I filled out and sent to them. The whole point of doing this was for a smooth check in, in fact it took 6 emails back and forth bc it was a PDF and they claimed it wasn't filled out correctly. After confirming it was set assumed things would be smooth boy was I wrong. The front desk agent Johnny humiliated Elijah when he arrived. Kept telling him the card hadn't been charged and he didn't have the card on file when I had proof it was charged, I called Johnny and sent him a screen shot. He didn't offer elijah a water or coke he took an hour and a half to find it. Then with no apology finally said he could check him in. It was so horrible Elijah left and got another hotel nearby. I disputed the charges and 6 weeks later without my authorization they pull out another 600 dollars. When I called to speak with a manager I was told by Irvin he was the manager and he was rude and unhelpful, I asked to
Speak to someone else and he refused. I emailed and didn't hear back.
We ended up paying much more last minute at Incentra Village House which is much much nicer with real working fireplace. Working with fraud department to dispute the charges which is a 15 day process. The place is horrible, small, with rude and inconsiderate staff.

Excellent food in a very pleasant setting, although there's one waiter at brunch (a musician, but I don't know his name) who was sarcastic and just crossed the border into rudeness to my friends.

The location was central to the conference I was attending. It made travel easy, as i was able to walk everywhere. There were lots of restaurants to choose from around the area, all within walking distance. The hotel itself was quite beautiful. The entry had a gothic looking exterior while the lobby was more modern. The room we stayed in was quite beautiful and had an excellent view. The only thing is the bathroom could have updated. Would recommend to others.

Always a great place to stay when I'm in NYC. Comfortable and clean rooms... Great restaurant and bar. On top of all of that they also give you desserts every night in your room (a great final touch). There hotel is located in Greenwich Village which is a great part of the city for getting around with a great assortment of restaurant options. I will definitely stay again.

Wonderful boutique hotel, mere steps from many major subway lines. Friendly, courteous staff and a great art deco feel. Small rooms, but wonderfully appointed! Wonderful little bar in the basement; highly recommend this place.

A cool hotel which is almost perfect! We stayed here for over two weeks, and all it all we were very happy here. I saw a lot of people complaining about the size of the rooms, but our room (the cheapest kind) was more than big enough for the two of us for this extended stay. The location is great and the staff was excellent.

There are really just a few reasons why I'm not giving this place five stars: The shower must have been designed by someone without real life understanding - it was impossible to shower without soaking the entire room - and beyond. Also, the A/C in the room was very loud, but we got used to it. Finally, the restaurant had a very limited menu - we had a hard time finding something we wanted for dinner, and only one thing looked good for breakfast.

All in all I would gladly come back here!

My son and I had a wonderful 4 night stay. What a beautiful, restful and serene experience. A very kind and welcoming staff, from the young lady who helped us with a terrific room, to Yuri in engineering. Great folks, we'll be back!

Love the boutique feel and vintage art deco aesthetic. Rotary phones accompany blue tooth stereos. The rooms are quiet and clean and higher floors have amazing views. An onsite restaurant and posh gym complement the standard hotel amenities. The service is what keeps you coming back though. Anyone complaining about room size hasn't stayed in many hotels in New York as these are downright elegant compared to many offerings. Some rooms have private terraces and balconies.

I had high hopes but sadly it was just ok . There are no tubs in the double bed rooms. Luggage rack /Coffee machine had to be requested and it took three trips before the guy brought everything we needed for a basic cup of coffee . Extremely tight quarters and sadly no reason to stay again .

Nice hotel, fresh and neat. Small and rather strange planned room, nowhere to have the suitcase or to hang the towels on the toilet. Even so, I would stay there again, quiet and great location. Close to the metro and many good breakfast places

Hotel very well located for the tourist that goes to New York, near means of transport and to walk to many places of interest. The service is acceptable, the rooms are clean, but too expensive for what they offer.

All the experience and the good memories had disappeared in the sound of the elevator

The excellent service, the excellent food, and the excellent room were not worth it if I had to sleep with ear plugs,
The noise from the elevator is unreasonable and not in a hotel of this kind.

It's a shame that this is how the problem is treated, and especially that the staff knows this.

I hope you will find a solutio

Had very high expectations for this hotel. The building itself was gorgeous, room was very clean, located in a nice/quiet neighborhood in NYC. They got our room ready for us when we came back for the night and even left us cookies! That being said, the bellman held our luggage when we checked in since our room wasn't ready and then couldn't find our bags when we came back. They did eventually find them and bring them up to the room. I also had a charge on my bill from the restaurant even though we never dined there. The valet parking was expensive and took about 40 mins to get our car out.

I came here for the bar. It looks gorgeous, but I had to keep ordering and picking my drinks at the bar on my own for us! Even the water... I was my own wait staff. The wait staff completely ignored us, because we were in the booth near the bar!
My French 75 was watered down soda water! My friend had the distant dream which was a decent cocktail! I expected more from them and am genuinely disappointed! The three stars are only for the beautiful venue!

Good - The food at the cafe is really good. Really good. Staff is very helpful. The room was very clean and the sheets smelled nice. The wallet didn't even wait for the tip, which was pleasantly surprising (given what you are already paying). Bad - There was no mini fridge. There was a bit of loud noise when your neighbor opened their door (there was no other noise). The room might be a bit smaller for two people. For me it was comfortable.

Just returned from a trip to NYC and spent the first night of our honeymoon at the Jade. Ari and the staff are attentive, genuine and on top of everything. The room was gorgeous, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the location cannot be beat. I'm not sure what the previous guests experienced but our wifi and shower was awesome! The elevator is a bit slow but is that really a negative?

I don't know I loved the place. The bar was great and its walls are adorned with amazing photos that I could look at all night. Ian (I think his name was Ian) was a great bartender who was willing to chat if you felt like chatting or leaving you alone if that's what you wanted.

We switched hotels as we wanted to move around the city and over to Brooklyn. The other hotels paled in comparison and we wished we spent the entire week at the Jade. Personally, I can't wait to return.

We had a family destination stay the beginning of May,
I had forgotten about a cigar box full of cigars in the closet. I called the hotel a few hours later, no one saw anything. They told me end of story.
There is at lest one thief on the hotel. Don t leave anything behind.

Went to the Walker and had the coldest night. The heat never came on. After I called three times and told them we need to leave they sent the bellman to reset the thermostat. It was so cold we had to leave. We could not wait to be outside where it was warmer than the room. Don't stay here in the winter or spring or fall and probably the summer unless you have the thermostat checked when you come in. I guess that's typical for guests to ask for when they check in.

I was there meeting up with my sister's client who invited us for drinks and quick bites from their restaurant which were really good. I had never heard of veggie chiccarones and they were surprisingly very good. The margherita pizza and lobster tots we're good as well. The atmosphere was relaxing and I enjoyed the music playing as well. Very nice place!

This was such a comfortable hotel! I really liked the detailing of the interior design- the wallpaper with its intricate patterns, the mirror cabinets, and old fashioned telephone next to the bed!

And the restaurant is also simply amazing. They make fresh juices and I really enjoyed the olive oil pancakes I ate.

Not much noise outside despite being in the city. Staff was very polite.

Curiously stumbled into the restaurant/bar of The Jade Hotel while looking for a nice atmosphere for a glass of wine and dessert and was not disappointed! We went on a weekday evening, the place was fairly empty but I think it had just opened so not many people knew about it. The decor is romantic - dimly lit, velvets, small tables and booths - and the live jazz was just lovely. Perfect for a date or a relaxing evening with a friend.

This was a quaint Hotel just north of Greenwich Village. It is about a 25 minute walk to Midtown, 20 minutes to Soho. Right near all the main subway stops on 14th. The rooms were well-decorated but extremely small, even by New York standards. The bed was very very comfortable. Sheets super soft. I was here for several days, and it didn't have some of the amenities I would have liked. No refrigerator, no ice machine. So you basically even have to eat breakfast out. Their restaurant was yummy, but pricey. I really wanted something quiet and centrally located between Midtown, downtown, and Chelsea, because I had meetings in all three areas. So this was perfect for me. I chose this place because of the location and because there was a desk in the room. I was surprised how many hotels in New York did not have desks in the pictures.

My husband and I used the walker as our hotel for our wedding. It was absolutely stunning. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. Everyone went above and beyond for us, the photos from the wedding prep are amazing. The bathroom in our room was beyond amazing and the view from the balcony was sensational. I hope we spend our anniversary there every year!
