This was a quaint Hotel just north of Greenwich Village. It is about a 25 minute walk to Midtown, 20 minutes to Soho. Right near all the main subway stops on 14th. The rooms were well-decorated but extremely small, even by New York standards. The bed was very very comfortable. Sheets super soft. I was here for several days, and it didn't have some of the amenities I would have liked. No refrigerator, no ice machine. So you basically even have to eat breakfast out. Their restaurant was yummy, but pricey. I really wanted something quiet and centrally located between Midtown, downtown, and Chelsea, because I had meetings in all three areas. So this was perfect for me. I chose this place because of the location and because there was a desk in the room. I was surprised how many hotels in New York did not have desks in the pictures.
