Really great food, brilliant beer and nice atmosphere. Recommend the veg curry and the prawns to start! Also pay attention to the 'how it's made' section on the menu where they explain how they add beer into lots of dishes.

Been there for someone s recommendation but really disappointed. They r offering huge but not nice variety.
Bar tenders r really living in their own worlds. I was waiting to be served but one guy was on phone. He looked at me couple of times but never say anything or say sorry for inconvenience. Other LADY in yellow dress was so so rude. She made me felt first time in my life that i was ignored. She pretending LOOK BUSY DO NOTHING. There were one more girl but she didn t ask me anything too even i called here. At last after waiting for 5mins guy served me after finishing his call.
2nd time at bar got same thing. After waiting 7mins at bar, yellow dress LADY try to jump on second person who just arrived. When she look at me then passed words u been served isn t it i reply nicely u didn t ask me anything n i was waiting for it. Even u made eye contact many time but still not offering or apologising for not serving.
If they think they r really busy so that s y sometimes ignore customers then they must come to London where people r served at their turn quickly at busiest places.
Every single customer is there for giving them business not they r not in mood to have it. INNIS & GUNN brewery must have some efficient bar tenders behind the counter for getting good response from people or at least trained the old ones. It was my first n last visit to this Taproom from London and may b last as well.

Great (s) beer bar / restaurant. There are many different beers but also other drinks like Gib, Scotch and others. The food is very good and the service friendly and attentive. It is quite loud, in addition, music is playing. Table should be reserved between 6.00 pm and 8.30 pm in any case. Go through the website very easy.

This was my favourite place when we visited Edinburgh opted for the Scotch egg starter with chips along with the taste the seasons beer flyer, one of the beers wasn't available so no problem got to pick a other from the ample selection, food was great drink was even better, great value for money and great staff

Very busy after work that sometimes they have to halt kitchen service if you want to order nibbles. Otherwise when you can get it, the scotch egg is a must have. Great selection of own and guest beers. You can ask for a tasting board too! Barman who served me was friendly and gave great suggestions as to which ones to go for.

We loved the location, style and atmosphere, but the staff seemed kind of overstrained with the average number of guests on a saturday evening and the glasses were dirty!
But the place has great potential!

Terrible customer service. Ignore emails, Facebook chat and fail to return phone calls regarding an order that I only received 1/3 of what I ordered and paid for.

Do not order online from these amateurs.

Tasty, rustic, Scottish pub grub, wonderful ales, friendly service, and a comfortable setting that has a lovely atmosphere as it's so busy. The staff know their onions too, are always happy to recommend ales, and are generous at letting you trying a taste of one of their beers before commiting to a half/pint or schooner. Lovely!

Great gastropub with impressive beer list and delicious food. Beers of every style are available. The food is incredible. We had the KFC starter ... Korean Fried Cauliflower. Yum. The burger was a culinary delight.

Great place to taste local beers! The burgers are super good and the waiters are very friendly and do not hesitate to test the beer at the bar before ordering. In addition the decoration is good and there is a good atmosphere :)

Excellet selection of draft and bottled beers. Often comes up on a Groupon or itison deal for burgers/pies etc, food is always good. They do a brew your own beer expeirence which sounds great also.

Relaxed atmosphere, about 20 beers on tap, great service/superfriendly staff. We were looking for a place where we could hang out with the kids. While the kiddo's where drawing and eating (there's a kid's menu), we could sit back and relax having some flights, food and pints. Totally recommended!

This place had a nice vibe, well decorated and a cool atmosphere. Although at first glance it seemed to have a good choice of beers, it was too much centred on beer they make themselves, be it Innis and Gunn branded or Ashton Lane branded. I don't mind them serving a fair amount of their own stuff, but on tap at least, there was limited choice for others. They should take a leaf from BrewDog who happily serve 'the competition' to compliment their own. That said, the beer I had was nice. Didn't eat here sadly so can't comment on that. Beer glass was cool!

Table service was a bit slow. The non-alcoholic "Innis & None" wasn't up to much. Myself and my partner (an avid beer drinker) didn't rate it, definitely having a soft drink next time I'm designated driver.

Other than that it was really good. Food was hot, well presented and delicious on arrival.

When we ordered our food though we thought that "small plates" would come as starter before our main dish but it all came at once. Not that this is an issue for us, but just watch out!

A really good selection of craft beers from other brewers alongside four from Innis & Gunn. I think I saw 12-15 beers on the board. Maybe a couple of ciders. Nice, attractive and spacious interior. I think the staff were a bit tired from coming to the end of the Fringe. Otherwise worth a visit.

Innis & Gunn may technically be a macro brewer due to the volume of beer they brew a year, but the fact that they are still independently owned means it feels much more like a microbrewery. The Original and the Blood Red Sky were both fantastic! Definitely going to see if I can track down their beers stateside. The vibe of the taproom is also great. Minimalist design with lots of communal tables, they're sure to have something for everyone.
