Love sales and quality. No pressure. The Bay provides very vast selection , from highend goods to very modest and still tasteful .

Good but the escalator situation is outrageous. Its been five years of escalator maintenance. What is going on? I do like this Bay location other than that.

Every time I go in this store I get lost... Needs more signage! Otherwise a nice location, with clothing options for everyone.

A few of the sales people in the men's suit section are quite good. But Kris is A.W.F.U.L. Constantly judging and just gross to be around.

I am waiting in the watches section from 20 mins. No body helps you. They ll keep pointing each other.
Very bad and slow customer service.

The worst experince ever and i got stuck in thier old elevator for 2.5 hrs, all what they were telling us the technician left the buildig and they were waiting for him to come back and fix the elevator and i was with my 3 monthes old baby who was crying the whole time.

Last of the major Canadian department stores. Very cool old heritage building in downtown Vancouver.

Came here to do a quick return (one item) and it took three employees and maybe half an hour, even though I was the only person in the department! Cultural genocide and this is what we have to show for it? Should have stuck with native self-government.

As far as this chain goes, this location is fine. It is clean, and well organized. Unfortunately, I did get some dirty looks from both staff and other customers as I look a bit young, perhaps too young to be shopping there with my partner. It was a bit uncomfortable.

Its one of biggest in British Columbia. Lack of staff. Staffs are not trained for Online Pick up.

One of the worst customer experience ever and I will never shop there anymore.Boxing day was very busy at 6th floor, men shoes department and I was waiting for at least 20 minutes for the help.When I asked employee to help me he said to find someone else because he is busy.Yes, he was busy with one couple from his community for almost 20 minutes and he was there to serve just them but anybody else.That employee ignored everyone there but not people from his community speaking Mandarin.I felt discriminated by who I am.I ask him about his name because he didn't wear a name tag, he wouldn't tell me.I sent an Email to general manager explaining what kind of treatment I got from his employee.

Beat Hudson's Bay in the city, carries lots of inventory along with high end brands

this is the best branch of the Bay in western Canada!

We can buy all those things which we need in our day to day life. I bought my 1st winter jacket from here and I'm so proud to say it. Highly recommended place for shopping

Leaving this negative feedback here because there is no where else to vent. This location has amazing service and I regret now not going back in person. 3 weeks ago I ordered 9 items online thinking it would save me some time and hassle. Unlike amazon they do not ship all items at once. They individually ship each item which has created a nightmare. I am now constantly going to a post office to collect items. Not only that, only half the order has arrived almost a month later. Today was the final straw. The suit I ordered showed up damaged. Stuff happens beyond a companies control, I m aware, but this is the straw that broke the camels back. I ordered online because HBC boasted this past year about wanting to be a contender with Amazon. If someone that can pass this review up the chain of command (unlikely), let whoever is in charge know Amazon has you guys beat by a mile. I ll never order online from HBC again and advise others not too as well. However, I love HBC and will return to their stores especially the downtown location. It is exceptional.

Great selection and good sales and service. Stairs are annoying as they are usually turned off and elevators take forever but other than that is a great shopping spot!

In the men's department not a single sales person speak proper English.

Trini the cashier in the first floor in online pick up area was so unhelpful and irresponsible!!! I am so disappointed to see such people work for Hudson bay! She was unbelievably careless to the customers! Whereas Christine and Patti ( the manager)were so wonderful and helpful and waited till my work done even after their work hour. I would give 5 star to these two wonderful ladies

Big department store with a lot of lables, though not that cheap.

Shopping for all your needs and price ranges. From high end designers.. local designers from Canada and very affordable brands as well. Only the best quality. Best department store in Canada. Amazing deals. Cleanest and most sanitary cosmetics department with amazing service. Easpecially at Clinique. Beautiful mens floor.. and best shoe selection in the city..

I came to see my favorite cookware. There is a wide selection of products such as staub and Le Creuset. It is rattled during the daytime on weekdays, and there are few staff.

Always get excellent service at The Bay that why I keep going back

Hard to navigate through the store from the lower level.

TopShop at the bottom gives it pretty much all the stars. The stuff above is somewhat overpriced in my opinion.

Bought runners for Black Friday. They obviously don t have a great loss prevention department as they cancelled my order on my valid credit card. Called to inquire, they hung up on me and didn t tell me why they cancelled it.

Hudson's Bay is one of the better department stores in Canada and although it is quite expensive, rounds down to a fair price with their frequent sales. Displays can be messy, but it is worth visiting.

All the staff were helpful and friendly. Got some good deals too.

Very large store with 8 levels (2 below ground). There were lots of sales, the selection was pretty good, and the merchandise layout was good for traffic flow. The staff was attentive and helpful.

I was shopping on the fourth floor and I bought a jacket. Everyone helped a lot. Especially a lady called Santra. She was very sweat.

Do t shop here. If you lose the receipt they only offer 10% of the value. Plus i feel the products are expensive and poor quality

It might be the best Retail Store in Canada and it is older than Canada.

A great store, with a huge array of products, helpful store people, and lovely ambience to shop in.. I also heard the Bay initially dealt with beaver's fur trading,, go, find out ;)

Nice store location in the downtown core big store. Don t like how men clothing is on the top floor have to go all the way throw women s and appliances bed and bath. But the staff are very nice and help full will come back and shop there . Nice top shop in the basement. Some windows have not been clean in some time so the view of the city is not that nice .

Surprisingly the experience and the previous image of "The Bay" I used to have are all gone. They have really good selections and great deals from time to time with quality products. In addition to buying Boss clothing, I had requested for my Ted Baker pants to be hemmed, and they did a fantastic and prompt job of it - really impressed.

I wonder how long flagship department stores will last. This one has the most confusing layout. Good luck finding what you want even if you know where y are going. Also, selection of the item I went in for was poor.

Had a great wee spree...I now look quasi-presentable! YaYMe! Did well in the topMaN area. I found good value on decent duds.
