Still a good store with helpful staff. Very quiet ...
Still a good store with helpful staff. Very quiet though. I hope they survive.

Perfect place for shopping and buying exactly what you need.
Great collection of branded clothings and house wares
Fragrance section has the worst staff imaginable. This evening was the most rubbish and disgusting costumer experience I've ever had in Hudson's Bay.
I certainly do not recommend shopping here in casual attire without make up on or if you're not caucasian..
The employees will look at you as if you're fecal matter.
In contrast if you walk in dressed to the nines you can expect them to let you browse without hawk-eyeing at you in contempt. They may even give you some mediocre service.
I give it three stars because the olace is very hard to navigate. They have good products but walking in there is very time consuming.
U can find all what you need..
Nice and friendly service..
Try to buy during the week-end..
Prices are unbeaten..
There are many commodity prices that are very favorable
you start carrying high end designers labels, you should probably have high end quality customer service. Rather than employess on their phones or colleagues more interested in chatting with one another than the customers. I am probably never come back and I ve been coming here with my mother since I was 6 years old. It s a competitive world in the retail business. I can get the same brands at Nordstrom s or holt Renfrew and get better service
Ordered some Calvin Klein shoes from this store. Only two months later they ve completely deteriorated just from wearing them daily at work. I was obviously disappointed by the poor quality so I went in to see what could be done, since $130 shoes should not fall apart so fast! I went to customer service, was sent upstairs to men s shoes, where I asked a sales associate what could be done. The unfriendly man was so unhelpful, he says I d have to see a manager but doesn t actually offer to page him - I have to ask him twice to do so. I end up talking to Adrian who tells me to bring the shoes in with a receipt and they ll see what they can do. Okay, fine. But then I call customer care and I m told it s as simple as sending the shoes back for an exchange from home, which is way more convenient and straight forward. So why wasn t I told this in the first place? A serious lack of training and ability to anticipate needs is apparent. If you don t want to end up like Sears, you better starts changing things for the better.
I like. I been shopping there for over forty two years.
There are many choices, but it is not always very clear what is sold at a discount and what represents the latest collection
Good sales, lot's of selection to shop, excellent customer service
recovering from knee surgery staff very helpful in assisting me during my purchases
Can't say much for the whole place but got what I needed from the wristwatch counter. Nice friendly staff helped me in a quick-time fashion!
Often overpriced, but sometimes has good sales on higher end brands, at least as far as men's wear goes. Terrible service. Good luck finding anybody to help you, especially when it is time to pay.
I love walking into this beautiful clean store. I've always had wonderful service,, especially in the Bra section. You' LL be fitted & have the proper model & size brought to your stall. The clerk will also check when you have tried bra on to inform if it's a good fit or not. There is a great selection of lingerie. Always leaving happy
Good mid level clothes, could use more employees though.
6 stories of history. The building is slowly inching towards being 100 years old. Conveniently located just above the Granville Sky Train Station.
Essentially a mecca for ladies fashion. Whole floors for the ladies. Men do have their section also. Brand name cosmetics counters. Parking can be an issue since the only place you can park on the street is Seymour Street. Best to hit this place on the sky train since when you arrive at street level ( well almost street level) a quick left will take you right into the Bay.
Shabby elevators let this place down big time, especially with Nordstrom in the same mall for comparison.
Nice store, large selection of clothes. Men's is up the top, so best to use the lift
*This post is specifically focused on their Home Furnishings Department.*
I purchased a living room set from the Bay in mid-January. I was promised delivery on February 23rd (as indicated both verbally and on the printed order). While 6 weeks seemed a rather long time to wait for a Made in Canada order, it did play a role in my selection.
The 23rd of February has now since passed, and therefore I contacted the Bay to inquire of the status of my order. I was told that the delivery has been delayed until April 2nd. This is 80 days from the original purchase and an additional 39 days from the promised delivery date.
I am thoroughly disgusted with this, and it has definitely changed my opinion of the Bay. I am writing this to forewarn any others who may be including date of delivery as at least part of their furniture buying decision process.
Bay days! You can come across deals or sales that are better than brand stores.
Can't find anything from household usually clothes and shoes good quality products
Not very busy and I have a hard time locating a salesperson
the men's area does not have much variety and they are behind in fashion trends.the area of mens shoes is the most boring I've seen in my life
This shopping mall is beautiful. Love going to Hudson Bay. Very responsive and welcoming staff. Love all the brands available in the Hudson's Bay. Good Prices and good selections.
It is a huge place.
I always get lost in here!!
Awesome heritage building. Company with lots of history. HBC has waged a comeback over the years, renovating the downtown Vancouver location. Product selection is a good as can be given the current Internet shopping boom.
They have something for everyone...from the more frugal to high end . And Bay days sales are great !
Same old the bay department store. Lots of markdowns as usual.
Good location with lots of selection. Sometimes too big for its own good especially with escalators under renovation.
Thid multi-level department store is so vast it's hard to find what you're looking for, and you won't find it quick. They stock mostly higher-end and more expensive brands and labels.
The best store for clothes, no doubt. Loved shopping in Hudson's bay. There are always promotions and diversity, the store has 6 floors above the Grandville station. It has everything there, worth checking out.
Not all stores are the same. Small cities like kamloops or kelowna have the bay cathering to different demographics than Vancouver that is an upbeat store you can find practically anything fashionable. Must wait to go to Vancouver to shop there
Very few cashier stations. It's like they do not want the business . Staff are virtually none existent. Not what it used to be. Very Sad!!!!
An icon of Canadian shopping, definitely old school department store with new approach
Love this place! 99% of their staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. They also have great deals, and a huge selection of shoes and clothing.
I don t like their layout
It s not easy to find things you are looking for easily
Bought a suit in the mens department, selection was good and staff was really helpful even though they were very busy, 100% recommended.
I hate this sneaky company. Everytime you go there they offer you 20% off when you apply for the credit card, then they put all your purchases there with an interest rate of 30% and keep charging you interest for items cleared out years ago...i would be very happy if people would open their eyes and stop buying buying there
Love Love love the bay
Friendly staff amazing customer service. Need more wheelchair accessible bathroom on at least every other floor and not just the basement
There was no one ... it was incredibly expensive and I could not feel good ...
Had amazing service from reshma, she went way above and beyond. Give her a big raise!!
Large bay but there is a lack of staff and pretty small sections for high end designers.
The lady named Ann in guerlian is super nice. She help me to find products form other brand and gift package. She is a friendly nice lady. I got High level of customer. I would definitely visit hundsonbay and gueelian. Thank you Ann
Staff are incompetent and/or do not understand English!
I had to buy a suit for the first time and knowing nothing about suits, Kris, helped me pick one out, the correct size, and then had it tailored to fit. Kris, you re amazing, thanks!
Good selection of formal amd casual wear. Atmosphere is not much but great sales and selection makes for a store that resonates with people working middle class office jobs
