Friendly & extremely helpful staff in the shoe department

Excellent service but the basement level is like a maze and you can get really turned around in there. Massive variety and solid amenities and service.

Lots of friendly people on the men's floor. Lots of product. Probably the best men's department at a Bay I've been to in some time.

I ordered a gift card with a next day delivery for my wife. It was for Valentine's Day. She received it too late and wasn't activated. She took some headache discussing about the situation at the bay store downtown with no luck and help.
Same result on the phone talking to the customer service centre.
So far it took 40 days and I talked to more than 10 people with some struggles to finally get another card instead.
If you order something online from The Bay, just cross your finger and don't count on thier customer service help.

They have really improved in the last year or so. More floor staff and better stuff.

Hudson's Bay in Downtown Vancouver is the best place to shop. This store has a wonderful selection of men's and women's fashion, home, beauty and jewelry. It is clean, great customer service and is truly part of our Canada.

The remodel of this store has been fantastic. The men's floor is truly modern and is the place I like to shop the most in the lower mainland. The men's area has a wide variety of fashion options, but I have been known to enjoy their suit department for many years and still thinks its the best.

I usually do not shop alone and have been told the women's area is even better than men's. Their athletic department next to Top Shop has the best selection of brands and clothing types compared to any other store.

Upstairs in the home department is the place to re-supply, update and get gifts (you can register to help others find the gifts you desire). My favorite linens to shop is their Hotel brand. Looks great, feels great and lasts a very long time.

There is also a great kids area. They truly have fashion for kids and a wide variety of pricing; yes some very good deals.

The beauty and jewelry area when you enter the store is overly impressive. It is very cool that they have their own shops and dedicated customer service.

Shopping online at the Bay is also great, but I am a modern in the store shopper, not an old school sit on my phone shopper. Having to order clothing and make returns just isn't my thing. I like to shop it, feel it and then decide to make the purchase. And of course, you can meet some pretty amazing people while you shop.

Hudson's Bay has over 300 years of history and is truly part of Canada. The other non-Canadian department stores to open in Vancouver do not have that history. Nor does shopping at the others support our Canada retail industry. As with many Canadians, shopping the Bay is part of our growing up together.

If you are looking for a fashion upgrade, clothes for work or just a home re-do, shop the Downtown Vancouver Hudson's Bay.

This review is mainly for Max, the guy who works in the fragrance part of the Granville Bay. He s helpful and his customer service is top notch. Good job bro.
