Nice and big store. Part of canadian history. Good place to go go avoid crowds. Lacking in customer reps though.

Large selection in a huge store with excellent views of downtown from the windows on the outside of every floor
Plenty of brands under one roof can be found here, although I often find it hard to browse clothes as there is just so much! Staff is usually helpful though so it's decent overall
Can never find any employees, and when you do they aren't that helpful.
Hard to find stuff, there's a lot of product but it's not clearly organized. Only the first 2 floors are organized but it could be better.
I like BAY. Good place for shopping. Way too many options. Sometimes staff can be rude idk why.
No staff in all the floor! Ever! Been trying to buy my baby stroller for months and never seen a soul in the cashiers and whenever I found a person, it is not his/her department and have zero idea what they are selling. One very nice guy did all his best and tried helping me, but all the info he gave me was from the website and didn't answer some of my questions. I felt it wasn't his fault, but the lack of people in their departments what is missing and making people turn around and go to other places.
Huge boutique. Impossible not to find what we are looking for.
One stop shopping, great department store.
Has a good selection of home furnishing and some very good sales.
They have been working hard at improving their staffing. I haven't felt like I can't find a sales assistant anymore nor have to wait 20 minutes in line. The first floor is still a little overwhelming in perfumes and there still seems to always be renovations. They do need the updates, but I'll enjoy my visits more when it is complete.
This downtown location has many top brands such as Diesel, John Varvatos and Boss
Clothing shopping - everything seemed to be on sale and the service was really good, suoer helpful.
Lots of good selection for men's clothing unlike most clothing stores these days. You usually need to ask for assistance if you have questions.
Department store without enough staff - I never can find anyone to help me or to purchase items from.
The staff in the mens area seemed a bit snobby at times.
The Bay is hit and miss for me. The staff at their Kiehl's counter are amazing and so helpful. The staff in the ladies shoe department , hard to find. Overall, there is a great variety of items to buy, decent quality but definitely wait for the sales.
Very clean and finally good service (compare to the past) keep it up
Wanted to buy a Lancome Foundation and no one was at the counter, just alone in there. The sales ladies were busy chatting at the Origins-Shiseido counters. Didn t buy anything and went to Sephora.
Vast selection of products to choose from and very helpful staff."
One of the largest department stores in Vancouver loads of stuff.
Can never find anyone to help me....Does anyone actually work here!?!
Department store find what u looking for here look for bat days for deals.
Floors upon floors upon floors of stuff to buy. Complete with escalators .
The most dominant thing is to gather every good brand over there , but everything is more expensive than every own brand shop!
Nice selection of goods at different price points. Generally welcoming decor and helpful staff. Good sales. Good value. Adjoining skytrain and right on Granville for convenience without a car. Some parking nearby on Seymour side on straight or in lots. Nespresso coffee boutique. Cafe on lower and higher levels.
My favorite dpt store in vancouver, everytime I went there I bought something, great service. Keep it going.
I think this place is the best mall in vancouver, you can find almost any brand that you really wanted with an affordable price, and not just that; you can find a lot entertaiment in this place. When you are in vancouver, you really should visit this place
Can't pass on Hudson Bay's deals of the year. This location is definitely my favourite. Spaceous, well priced and stocked to the rim. Men please stay on floor # 6:)
Large mall in Downtown with inexpensive goods. But not stock. Sometimes there may be surprises, as in the photo, so you need to carefully read the price tags. Bank cards with PayPass are not accepted, payment from the phone is also impossible. The men's goods department is on the 6th floor, which may seem somewhat uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything is not bad, especially if you get on sale
Awesome deals on stuff during their Bay Days specials.
Not many sales going on. Wasn't thst busy. Ok department store.
great customer service... Olga helping me a lot , she was nice and friendly
Its showing its age.. especially when you use their elevator. Why is their mens on the top floor?... but its nice. Has good variety of brands. Has designer section in womens and mens floor. Overall, its ok department store. Could be so much better, but has decent sales that keep comming back to.
Most of the clothing was incredibly overpriced and posche. Of course designed older fancy women, yet the store didn't provide service alongside it. I took me awhile to find staff and a fitting room, but I did eventually.
A huge department store, with offers on everything, but always being somewhat expensive compared to a Mall.
Classic old store. I hope that HBC lives forever. Yes, you may pay a bit more, but at least you can try on the clothes before buying them, unlike on-line. Excellent selection of products. Hang on there brick and mortar stores.
The Bay has so much fashion and varieties, I bought an evening dress on sale for $175, my husband bought a set of suit for only $250, they had a 20% discount on top of the sale price. What a deal!
Large shop. I went to buy some under garments. Men's wear is really out of the way. Took a bit to find the section I needed. Service was good and pleasant.
One of the few Hudsons bay which stock a good selection of slim fit dress shirts but it's often tough to find the right size as they are often out of stock
Excellent service from Cora!
When I needed to exchange a T-shirt for a larger size that I had purchased the day before, I could not find the correct department ( I am not a local). Cora found the department and escorted me there with a smile.
It sucked over priced smutter same old grey black white yawn
Pricier, but variety of mainstream-fashion options.
Pretty decent selection of stuff and friend staff.
The downside if you need to get to the men's section is that the elevators are pretty slow and not all the escalators function most the time.
Hudson's Bay staff are generally unknowledgable about what they carry if it's not in their respective sections.
Large department store with good selection of men's clothing on top floor.
The downtown store is the showcase store it s been there for ages. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great deals. Get the HBC card and leverage discounts.
A Bay store worth visiting. Great selection, good prices. Lots of international brands you wouldn't expect. This should be what all Bay stores are like.
Wow!! The Hudson Bay store downtown Vancouver is so much better than any Bay that I ve ever been!!
The clothes and shoes and selection of purses and watches and jewelry not to mention skincare is remarkable!
Great to see different great clothing brands on the same floor. Lots of staff around to help
Wide selection and there is always a constant sale going on. The floors are spacious and shopping is always a pleasure. The staff were never pushy towards me and would immediately offer assistance whenever needed.
Can barely find staff there. After it renovated, it looks way better, more high end. I wouldnt just go unless I need to bug specific stuff
