I called hundreds of time to reach the hand bag department but their phone is busy from open to close. I also talked to Jod the operator but he didn't transfer my call to them. I also asked Jod to give them my phone number to call me when they are not busy but he said :I can't!!!!

I liked this store better when it had the Market Square in the basement for food and kitchenwares. Now it's all clothes, nothing to distinguish it from any other department store.
Staff is generally very knowledgeable of their selection, and if you come across a senior staff member you get full service. Very helpful and if you're a returning customer they remember your style and price range.
The choices of clothes are fantastic and range in prices allows shoppers with different budgets to shop here
Staff are professional, friendly and very helpful.
However there are a few problems that I feel need to be addressed. The escalators to the men's floor rarely works. There is also minimal sign posting which I feel is needed for such a large building. Floor maps and exit signs are a necessity I have failed to spot.
THIS PLACE HAS 4 elevators that are super slow and they only use one or two. Two are never in use. In corona only two people can use one elevator! Sometimes you will have to wait 10 min to get to another floor. Lame as f..k!!!!!! Congratulations Hudson s Bayyy. You re miserableeee yaaayyyy. Ew
Went today to pick shoe for my daughter and came across employee whose service was as bad as hell was in a rush couldn t catch her name, she was rude unprofessional too.
Not a fan of Hudson bay todays experience will keep me not coming back to this place ever.
Best department store in Vancouver but I found that their sweater selection was poor and that surprised me because it is December. Did find one though, for $75. Prices are much better than Nordstrom's and, usually, so is the selection of goods.
Disappointed. Advertises Lancome cosmetics on sale. Not in stock. Cosmatician rude, not helpful, couldn't care less, offered no options or suggestions. At one time they had clerks that cared and were helpful. Don't understand present day attitudes.
Black Friday @ Bay was alright Still hard to find help. But saved 40$ in addition to the sales! . May 2020 always have problems with the delivery. ALWAYS! Sometimes I don't even receive my order. Or it's shipped in pieces. Very frustrating
Sales rep was very helpful. Recommended a suitcase that was the same price as one I was looking at but for a much better quality. Even went to the back to find extra so my fiance and I could have matching luggage.
I ordered two crystal glasses online and had to return them because one arrived broken; they had been put into a box about ten times their size with no padding! The women I dealt with was intensely rude treated me like a nuisance. The manager came over and didn't even speak to me or make eye contact, he just rolled his eyes and talked to her as though I wasn't even there. Nine times out of ten, I will receive terrible, rude customer service at this location. I have written in on more than one occasion: employee in The Room snapping at me and giving me attitude because his supervisor asked him to take down my contact information (life is just so hard for him, having to write words in a notebook), there was sexually explicit music playing in Topshop outlining very graphic acts, and then this. Not once did they do anything about it, not even a proper apology or an email response. You sent me crystal glasses without packaging material!!! And you made ME feel bad for returning it when it -- understandably -- arrived broken! What the heck?! Also, they mark up their products by about 20-30% -- their Royal Albert line is significantly cheaper from anywhere else, including the manufacturer's website.
A Canadian classic department store. It has everything you want. This is the biggest store in Western Canada and it shows. Great place to shop for home needs. We ended up getting in on the 1/2 price furniture sale. Have always enjoyed walking through the Bay.
Nice big flag ship store. Big selection of products. Was surprised by the knowledgeable and helpful staff. Shoped for 3 hours on different floors. They had enough staff in the various departments which was nice as years ago they didn't.
The Bay downtown is in an old building which is starting to show it's age. Luckily I only go to it when there's a sale and on this day, most items that I was looking for (shoes, sport jackets and shirts) were 40%~50% off! The service in the men's department and the shoe department was excellent! I recieved great advice and attention. In total, I bought close to $1,600 worth of merchandise for just over $800! Definately worth waiting for sale prices!
The only honest, attentive staffer is an older woman at the Chanel counter. The rest of the staff I approached or encountered were inattentive, distracted by their cellphone or co-worker, dismissive or useless. They didn't know their merchandise and didn't offer to make inquires. I left my phone number about items and never heard back. Security harassed a potential shoplifter. A staff told security it's a frequent shopper but that didn't stop a woman from uncomfortably sticking to the customer. I strongly suspect racism.
Lots of selections. Things can be pricy here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Washrooms available for customers. Elevators are outdated but are being replaced.
I love the bay for clothes and homeware but with my furniture experience I will have a huge resentment now.
Got a distinctly home couch from them, which took 6 weeks to arrive and was told if there was any issues on delivery to call the service line. The couch was missing the bracket that hold the 2 peices together. Service line is useless and we have had to call at least 10 times, every time they tell us what's going to be done, nothing has happened. Finally they send us the bracket pieces into the mail, it's now been a month with a couch that isn't attached. But we don't have the tools to install it nor do we want to risk tearing the fabric ourselves so we ask for a service guy to do it. And now they can't send one out for over a week.
They don't take returns because buying a couch that you see on the sales floor is a custom order apparently. The customer service line needs a rework with digital filing because they cannot keep notes and constantly lose the details we've provided and we have had 3 people tell us 3 different things on solving our problem. Horrible experience overall
Kathy in the linen department was extremely helpful! Was looking for new bedding and she walked me through all the varying brands, materials and even did some online checks for me. In the end, she also assisted me with opening up a Bay credit card! Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. An experience you don't normally see from a larger department store :)
Clean and light shopping floor. Shopping environment is pretty comfortable and quiet. Employees are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Price is good with discounts and on sales' items. Credit cards accepted. Check out speed is fast. Skytrain station is nearby in short walking distance.
Big department store above the Granville Expo line station. Large selection of clothing, perfumes, and household items. The outside of the building has a lovely architectural style that is worth seeing.
One of the biggest and oldest stores downtown. A true department store. Connected to Pacific Centre Mall and two separate Skytrain lines. Men can find their stuff both in the basement at Top Man and on the top floor for the general menswear section. Top Man features very trendy and stylish clothing.
