A great hotel, with all the comforts, very well located, near the French Quarter, if you like to walk you can walk to it, if you want to take a walk through the Mississippi the pier is very close too, the Lafayette cemetery is a little more Far away, but the walk is pleasant on Saint Charles Ave, you can notice the change of houses until you reach the District Garden, which by the way is a must.

First time staying at the Intercontinental in New Orleans. I have stayed at other Intercontinentals around the globe and none compares the horrible service I have received here. The first red flag was the valet, he was very rude and not friendly to me. The second was the check in process- my room was not ready at 3:30pm. Check out for the previous guest is 11am, check in for me is 3pm. This hotel needs to get their housekeeping shi* together. I had to sit in the lobby bar which was packed with noisy people cheering on some game that I didn t care about. Finally, I got the call that my room was ready after 4pm. When I went up the counter to get my keys the staff didn t show me where the elevators were, or talk about connecting to Wifi, or tell me about the amenities. Save the time and hassel of this place and go to the Ritz. Marriott does customer service so much better.

I don't know much about it I was never a guest in the hotel but I can say this much they do have private restrooms for the public. What I mean by that there are complete private stalls with a lock in the door handle no one could look underneath.

Ate lunch at Trenasse. Very crowded so reservation a necessity. Food is excellent and the lunch salads are really good. Unlimited ice tea which is fresh. Service is a little slow but probably because so busy. Parking is $10 for 2 hours. This is a really good place for lunch!

Great upscale hotel in the CBD (central business district). Very spacious rooms. We upgraded to have a balcony which was nice and had a lot of space but not much of a view. There's a little shop in the lobby 24hr if you need snacks drinks or a few meds like aspirin tylenol benadryl or imodium its available and you can charge it to your room. I didn't try the restaurants on site but I believe there are 3.

I've been staying at this hotel for four straight years now, not my doing but with a group. It's location is great, nearby big attractions and Bourbon Street, that are walkable and many restaurants, which I would advise looking into. The hotel has 24 hour room service, but limited and expensive. If you are not use to the foods served here in NOLA, this menu can be an issue. Many shops nearby, and CVS or Walgreens is a quick walk away. I'd advise asking in advance for a room with a terrace.

This was my first time visiting New Orleans and this hotel was amazing. The room was spacious and clean, however the staff made the trip stay so much more enjoyable especially Davis and Kayla. They went above and beyond when a group of people I out party had a problem with their reservation. When I come back I will definitely be staying here again!

Worst experience ever in an Intercontinental hotel. Someone broke into my room when I was still sleeping in the morning. And when I asked who the person was, the guy just closed the door and fled away. I called the front desk and told them how dangerous this could be, but they never offer any formal apology nor did they replied about their security s investigation about this incident as they promised.
I wouldn t recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have at least a safe stay

WOW!!! The first interaction I have coming to this hotel is the bell hop named King. This elderly gentleman was very rude and smart aleck upon first meeting him that continued for 5 mins before he finally left me alone. Not a good start and through him deserves 1 star. A need to higher better people to welcome your guests upon arrival is a must if you are going to call yourself a five star hotel

Clean. Prompt room service. Central location.

Clean. Prompt room service. Central location.

They also gave us a room on the corner, so we had a great view with multiple large windows.

The internet there is fast, so if you're on a business trip using a VPN, you can easily work on anything with their Network.

The room was comfortable and clean. There were lots of places to plug in electronics, including a charging dock at the work desk. Included robes and slipped to borrow.

The only problem was that there was a mini fridge in the room, but I couldn't figure out how to turn it on, despite it being plugged in.

Very nice hotel and staff. Room was a little dirty. Ice bucket had no bag and had water in it from who knows when. Dresser top had some sticky stuff (gross) and bathroom counter top is very high up. Hard to brush my teeth and rinse, ya know. But, great location and staff.

Trying to be be fair in light of the pandemic, I don't think I'd stay here again when everything is over. The employees were great, they were very helpful and accommodating, they had super helpful tips, and always had what I think is a smile under their masks.
Not mad that everything was closed, but I was there for a week and they dont have access to a fridge you can use or a microwave. The paper pamphlet said room service was supposed to come every 4 days instead of daily, but we were told that while we stayed they would not be coming. The shower was chipped and handle to the shower kept falling off.
It's fancy, it's comfortable, but for more than a few days not super convenient.

This place was great!! Great location and the rooms were very clean. We stayed here for the night cause we were going to a concert at smoothie king center (which is a couple blocks away) and it was perfect. The bar downstairs was great too, we just got a couple drinks but the food looked really good. We will be...

Had a wonderful stay here. Every person I encountered went out of their way to make my visit that much nicer. The lobby is beautiful, and the rooms are nice size compared to others I have stayed in located in nearby FQ.

Nice rooms and a overall facilities are well done. The rooms however get a pretty good amount of street noise, especially if there's any events going on, even on the 10th floor. The staff however is the best thing about this hotel. They are on top of everything and happy to help you with pretty much anything.

Although it is a good looking hotel, there are still some negatives about this place. Upon checking into the hotel I decided to use the shower and found tons of hair from the previous guest and what felt like sand in the bathtub floor. Some of the staff were unprofessional and greeted me with a "what's up?" rather than with a professional greeting expected of such an establishment. Expect to pay $50 for valet after tax, per day. I'm sure management means well, but I would never stay here again given the quality received for such a high price tag.

The Intercontinental at New Orleans was very clean. The staff were friendly and very informative. Everything went well. I was there for a short period of time but everything went well. They were very accommodating when my friend and I decided to change rooms. She didn't like being in a high floor. Check in and Check out went well.

My husband and I had a great time in this city and enjoyed staying at this hotel. Not noisy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ms A. Joiner and Officer Huey went the extra mile to help find a personal item that got mixed with their laundry. We are very satisfied with the service. The room is spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. I can't wait to go back.

The decor may look upscale, but it is mediocre at best. Trying to check in and front desk staff just hands me the key. No "welcome," no tips about the hotel or where things are, no nothing...he didnt even say what room number. I asked where the elevator was, he pointed. Room is basic. They stock the whole fridge with drinks that are sponsored, so you'll be charged if you move one. I had leftovers from dinner and there wasnt anywhere to put it...no other fridge. The shower and toilet are in a separate room and theres no fan or ventilation. Ate at the restaurant in lobby but there wasnt anything special. Overall, this hotel is as basic as can be, with extra nice decor.

Very nice hotel. Staff is very good. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Great location within easy walking distance of lots of New Orleans hot spots. The restaurant on the ground floor is very good. My only negative comment is that one night there were rowdy guest next to my room, and several of us guests complained for over two hours before someone was sent to quiet them down. I understand we are in New Orleans, but I expect better from a Quality Hotel.
