Pleasantly Surprised with the service i received. It is my experience that typically the people who try to help you are dimwits and just there to collect a check. However John in Hardware was extremely knowledgeable about DYI projects and was a real help to me in finding everything i needed.
Homedepot is one of the best places to find what you need when you either are remodeling your house or building a new house, sadly many of the employees don't appreciate the customers that are the main force of this stores to keep growing. I go to many if not all the homedepots around Atlanta, but this one in particular has the worst customer service I ever encounter. I really believed that a general manager should pay attention to this matter. He needs to stop by and check it out by himself
Always restock, great customer service. I enjoy shopping at this location.
This Home Depot has the worst trashy parking lot screws nails other material to get in your tire they're not too good with cleaning the parking lot and some customer service is lacking experience
Customer service desk people EXTREMELY horrible service!
If they don't have it they will order it and deliver it to your nearest store (free) or home (fee). Free classes, motorized carts and helpful staff. You can order specialized professionals to work on your home remodeling projects.
In shopping center with Wholefood and more.
Easy to find what you're looking for, but they need more cashiers.
I like shopping at home depot as they have good product and reasonable price.
But pick-up at store service is sometimes frustrating, really not recommending.
This is the best place to waste your time asking a worker anything requiring a level of customer service. The workers here seem to run away from you if they remotely think you have a question. It is best to try and reach out to an expert or field your questions online through the annoying customer service feature on Home Depot's website then pay for it and then drop by to pick it up. If your weekend project is worth your frustration and the exhaustion of pacing up and down the concrete floors then come and enjoy.
Home depot yet again. . .always has what I need to keep making money
Helpful staff, and they had what I needed to do the job , and a liberal return policy for the things I didnt.
I was approached by 2 employees on a Saturday who smiled and asked if I needed assistance, impressive!
Looks great but a lot of items are not stocked or are out of inventory. I ve been going to this HD store for over a year now and still come out with at least one of my item is unavailable or out of stock. Some bins have been out of inventory for weeks. Please restock your inventory!!! If it wasn t for the location I would have patronized another home improvement store. Most of the staff is good, but their are a few that just want you to ask someone else.
Been going to this store for 6 years now always a great experience.
I love this store it's just amazing. I'm a hands on girl so bring it.
Returned items are better received with receipts. Friendly personnel are helpful when looking for wood butchers block oil. Each store is different. Parking lot is clean. Plants are healthy and drought tolerant. Clearance item signs are clearly marked.
It's conveniently located for those that live in Midtown, O4W, and surrounding areas. The store itself is like any other Home Depot and the employees are always helpful when you need them (and when you can find them, ha).
Getting to the store kinda sucks, dealing with the traffic on Ponce and the parking lot for whole foods is always bustling but it calms down once you get to the Home Depot end.
Woefully understaffed. Suggest packing a lot of patience.
Like any Home Depot your experience is directly related to who is working and how crowded they are. The staff here is generally friendly and they try and help.
Excellent store. Clean. Professional help easily available
Got a Pretty good deal on hue light bulbs here. They just didn't have many.
Knowledgeable and friendly crew. Huge box home improvement store. Clean well stocked.
Home Depot has improved a lot in terms of staff friendliness and availability. We're enjoying shopping there more these days.
Standard Home Depot for the most part, but they seem to have a better selection of certain items than other local stores (ventilation, certain electrical components). Additionally, the best part is they have the biggest "oops" paint selection (discounted/mismixed paint) by far. Great if you want some interesting colors!
Also a little busier than other local big hardware stores due to the midtown location. Which is great if you want to get some fancy furniture at West Elm and do grocery shopping at Whole Foods nearby. If you're just running in to pick up nails, may be quicker to go to Buckhead or Lowe's in Edgewood.
Vast selection of inventory. Much more merchandise selections than other HD,s. Fantastic tool selection. Fantastic lumber selection.
I'm a guy and i love tools...home depot has lots and lots of tools
busiest home depot location i have ever been to at 11am. finding a parking spot was a bit difficult. despite the crowd, checkout was speedy. the staff was helpful and way friendly.
Great resource for DIY projects. I was there to rent an auger and glad that they provide equipment for people to rent. I can't think of having to use an auger more than for my privacy fence.
The level of customer service from Danny in the Home & Garden section was the best I've received at any other Home Depot. Other Home Depot locations have been great, but Danny went above and beyond in helping my wife and I select the perfect combination of plant (Yucca Elephantipes), potting plant, and moss for our particular needs. Danny was friendly, provided excellent service, was extremely courteous, and we will DEFINITELY be returning to speak with Danny when it's time to select our next indoor/outdoor plant, or any other gardening needs we may have.
They actually have people walking around asking if you need assistance. Haven't seen that in years.
Great variety but I stood for 30 minutes waiting at the wood cutting station with no acknowledgement from the appropriate store associate although he directly looked at me multiple times. Spent an inordinate amount of unnecessary time on this task. Very disappointing.
I want to give 0 stars. I walked in at 6:15pm, it's now 7:45pm, and I'm leaving with nothing. Why, you ask?? Poor customer service, their lack of product knowledge, and general nonchalant attitude of employees. I've been coming since they opened, but won't be back. The man in lighting was the only helpful person in the store. Asked for the manager on my way out, she said she would help me...After I wasted an hour and a half, no thank you. May I have my time back?
Store itself is well stocked and similar to other stores. However, the customer service is extremely slow and I would not recommend curbside pickup. I have numerous poor experiences and have transitioned to ace hardware and Lowe s.
I love Home Depot. Very helpful inside but on the out side YUCK!!! Trash every where! The only trash s cans on the whole lot are next to the front door! While you have everyone loading and unloading in the parking lot! Doesn t seem like anyone cares about how much trash is everywhere now a days!
Wondered service got a new chest freezer going to trade Joe's to stock up
Usually great, but management isn't requiring or enforcing employees' use of face masks. Store definitely isn't bothering with keeping up with customers who aren't partially distant or not wearing masks. It's too bad, because it's an easy thing to do, and it's not nearly as comfortable going without them doing that.
Check stock online before you go. This location has a great outdoors area
I love home Depot but you got make sure you leave your property safely secure in the parking lot. The staff however is excellent!
Love Home Depot - even if the lavender looks like it was schlepped from a grave - I mean it's going to take lots of singing & miracle grow to bring these babies back to life
Don't go if you dont have to!
Overpriced significantly compared to other literal Home Depot. Getting there sucks, leaving sucks, and the selection on any one thing is limited.
Their sale microwave I bought for 240$ I found at another home depot for 98$. Tool I bought for 68$ I found cheaper anywhere else, even as low as 38$
Their garden section was glorious and had everything I went for
The merchandise is good and they cut your wood for free but the personnel are very rude. Seems like you bother them if you ask them for something...
Used curbside pickup for the 1st time. It's nice to have that option if u dont want 2 go inside. The wait time wasnt bad ...about 20 mins.
Really love this store! Admittedly, I could walk around home improvement stores all day, but this store makes it even easier to do so. Every time I have gone in here the employees are helpful and friendly. I often have my dog with me and they offer him treats and spend time petting him and while answering my questions. I have had people go above and beyond to help me more often than not! From searching for prices when tags are missing, to selling me a display fake Christmas tree when they ran out of stock of the one I was looking for.
Good selection(except on pool supplies). Great customer service and the store is clean with easy access through and around the store.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They took the time to go through several boxes to help me locate all of the items I needed.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Packing items are a fare price. Got all that I need including boxes of two sizes, plastic storage containers, duck tape, etc
The employees at this Home Depot are incredibly lazy and a bad example of what Home Depot should be like, especially in Atlanta. I went this past weekend and found the item that I needed, which I checked before hand online, there were 75 in stock. There were 0 on the shelf so I asked an employee to look into it. Once he looked into it and found out that he would have to get it from overhead, first he asked me "are you sure you want this today? We can have it for you tomorrow." No, I don't wish to make a habit out of going to Home Depot every day.
Feeling this was too much work for him, he ditched me for another employee. That employee took about 20 minutes to find out where the item was, and got the truck necessary to get the items down (this guy was great, he took a while, but he was willing to help - more than most). He still warned me it would take a while and asked if I wanted to come back. Another employee came to help him and then asked "how many do you want? The whole palette?" I told him one, and he looked at me like I was kidding. He said, "Are you sure you don't want more?" Restocking is part of the job. The items looked like they were sold out - this means they are a top seller and need to be restocked!
Also, there were about 20 HD employees standing around, doing nothing, this day. I asked three employees where childproofing locks were, and none of them knew. One said "I have only been working here two months and haven't learned anything yet!" They pointed me in the general direction, which was still one aisle off.
I have a lot of experience in retail, and people not knowing things doesn't bother me so much as an unwillingness to learn or help. I experienced both of these things. If you want to go to a Hardware store where people actually want to help you and know anything, go to Ace.
That place was totally sucked. I went there to buy dex-cool fluid, I check online before I went to store and they have plenty (12) of them. I went there and nothing I went to the service desk they told me they will get it for me in customer service but they couldn't found any. I went back and I found it myself opposite side of top rack. I went back to customer service for three times and last time I told them it's ok top selves. That time 2 professional workers went to get dex-cool for me but wow!! They told me they couldn't find it this time either. They don't have it and that mean online is wrong that saying they have it in the store. Then I went back there with them and show them. The guy just say "ow" he checked twice and couldn't find it. And they just appologise for wasting 50 min. Before Last time they changed me some stuff I didn't buy it. Not going back to this location.
I am done with Home Depot forever after my experience with this store. The delivery of my appliances has been delayed four times now. I paid for them two months ago and it will be another month before they are ready to deliver. The store refuses to deliver the three available. Customer service representatives and store managers have been unhelpful. I have spent hours on hold and no one has been able to solve my problem.
Walked into the store around 12:45pm and went straight to the paint counter. Stood there for roughly a minute, or two, before I decided, out of curiosity, to start a timer on my phone (former retail manager habits die hard). At 5 minutes, 4 associates had walked past without a greeting (not their department, I guess). I stopped the timer and walked to customer service to request a manager. Walked back to the paint counter and started the timer again. After another 2 minutes, the paint employee greeted me and stated she was working the aisles, though I never saw her in the first few minutes I was at the counter. Still, the manager had not arrived and I had already decided that I was going to my local ACE (made the phone call standing at the counter). Left the store after around 8 minutes, not able to speak to a manager.
This is why I don't shop here. It is too common of an occurrence to be left alone for too long when I need to ask questions. I don't expect someone immediately, but over 5 minutes without a greeting, or an offer to assist is unacceptable in the world of big box retail.
It's home depot. What more is there to say? Pretty sure you already know all about it. It's got lots of stuff, but often never what you are looking for.
It is a huge Home Depot. We had to pick up her order the only complaint I had was that it was not clear where the sign was 4 the beginning of customer service once I get up there to the window to pick up my order was very easy and very nice everything was right in my order
Not a good example of a home Depot store they are often out of popular (and inexplicably slow moving) items.Mostly terrible customer service with the exception of the gardening section, there's an older British man in garden supplies (not sure his name) that's always bending over backwards to help you. Also the manager of the pro desk (unlike his minions) is also helpful. If I'm able I try and use the Buckhead store instead as they have their act together
I asked the guy where to find the thing! It was very helpful. And I bought a plant too.
DO NOT GO HERE, ITS USELESS. I came in to this store two days in a row. I was trying to buy blinds for my new house. Both times, I had to track down people to help me. I spoke to 4 employees. No one could cut blinds. I was told the only person who could do that was on lunch. I waited. He then left without speaking to me. I called 6 times this morning to check if the same person was there. No one picked up the first 5x I called. On the 6th time, they said the guy I needed to speak to was there, and I should come on in. I just waited another hour in the store. Only to then be told they don't have any electricity to the blind cutting machine, and I needed to go somewhere else.
This is the worst customer service experience I've had at a home depot. They don't make spending $600 on blinds very easy. And they're super rude in the process. So disappointing.
Bought dishwasher online. Was listed as stainless steel, but front control is cheap plastic. Online said return to this store only. The store won't take the return.
Both Canton stores are equal, I find Lowes better for various reasons.
I really like the home depot because if their relatively low prices and quality selection. However, their customer service is terrible. This isn't something I say lightly. And this is my experience every time I shop here. Today the lady working the register didn't even look at me when I walked up. She stood there doing nothing but looking off in the distance for a good 4 seconds before she finally looked at me and said "hey". Then after she rung me up she handed me the receipt and said nothing else. So if you're looking for quality hardware at somewhat low prices and don't mind being treated like dirt by the employees, this HD is for you.
Yolanda was very helpful with the purchase of our washer! Professional and very knowledgeable!
Great place for choice if you want merchandise for your home or garden. I sastify with them service and quality of most items. How beautiful flowers and garden care
I went in today and was ignored by employees. I finally stopped one as walked past me with his face in his phone. He had no patience and rudely answered my question so that he could run off and be on his phone. I walked out and went to be location in Buckhead. Every single employee there had a smile on their face. The guy to assisted me was very kind and yes I made my purchase there.
I took away two stars because some of the workers need customer service training. Especially in the self-checkout assistance area but most are fairly professional I was there today and had to use a card on one of their new self-checkout machines and I had the consistently asked the lady can you give me a little help she looked at me like I was supposed to know how these new machines work I got frustrated and went to the pay by cash aisle leaving my sunglasses in the process customer service has seemed to go down over the last year now there are some good ones who will not assume that you know where something is and point you in a general direction and say, oh it's down there.
Always go in 30 mins before closing and there is never anyone there to help me with questions so i can make my final purchase and get home and start my projects. Other wise the store is pretty clean and organized. Has great prices and. Wide variety of products to . i reccomend thos hom Depot to a
This Home Depot has more stock than most other stores. I go there because I am more likely to find what I'm looking for.
Visited Home Depot at opening of store searching for Lysol, Clorox cleaners. Found none.
