They need to train their employees better. On the evening of Jan 5, 2018 I was at the order pickup counter to discuss the fact that I had received an email stating that I had picked up my order ( a $207 range hood). Well in fact I had not picked up the order. I had received a email prior to this stating that I only had until a certain date left to pick it up, and it had taken me awhile to get to the store and get my order.

I explained the situation in detail to the lady at the counter (long hair in braids) and she kept insisting that the order had been picked up when in fact it had not. Even printed some paperwork trying to prove to me that it had been picked up. Then she made comments to me about how it was somehow my fault. She seemed to think the fact that I had spent $200 on an item I never received is a perfectly acceptable way for a store to do business.

Luckily I waited a few days and checked my bank account and saw that it had been refunded to my credit card. I was sent no email that notified me of this. Still, I am livid thinking that for a minute there I thought I was out $200. I have had trouble with the HD manager in the past so was not looking forward to dealing with management again. I sure hope someone from corporate reads these reviews and looks into the matter.

Most, not all, of the employees in this store go out of their way to not be of any assistance. You will be walking straight towards an associate and they will veer down the next aisle so as not to have to help you. While I absolutely cannot stand Lowe's, I would visit them for flooring before I would set foot in ANY Home Depot Flooring department. Price you pay for being shady.

Typical HomeDepot staff, doesn't really pay attention, care about the customer or know what they are talking about. This is a generalization and there are some exceptions but for the most part you are on your own as a customer.

Smaller than some locations but very convenient when working in town.

Bought a washer/dryer and fridge in preparation for a move. Scheduled delivery for a month later. On the day, the drivers show up and tell me they don't have my fridge or know where it is. They tell me to call the store. Called the store. Sat on hold for 30 minutes. Hung up and called the 1800 number on the receipt. Was told the office they need to call is closed on the weekend and there's nothing they can do until Monday. Called back Monday. Find out the fridge was backordered and they can't deliver it for another week.

Great. I just moved into a new house and I dont have a fridge. Normally that wouldn't be the end of the world but I have medication that has to stay refrigerated. Fortunately a friend let me keep it at his place. Otherwise I would have been SOL.

Way to go, Home Depot. Such amazing customer service. You gladly took my money but when it came time to deliver on your promises, there's nothing you can do.

I'll NEVER buy anything that needs to be delivered from Home Depot again.

I come here all the time spend hundreds of dollars its 1 of home depot Busier stores u would think they would have more than 1 person working the Pro Service line
It take 2 hr to get threw the line all way!!!!!!!!

Don t hire Home Depot for home installation projects or appliance home delivery. A 2-Day kitchen floor install (original quote) is now on day 12 and is still not complete.

Then, my appliance delivery driver said he couldn t find parking (27 ft. box truck) and would have to reschedule the delivery. I said that was unacceptable... he said I was being verbally confrontational and hung up on me. Still no appliances. That I paid for.

I placed an order for several appliances a week ago and set the delivery date for a day that I could arrange to be off from work. The day before I got the call saying my delivery window would be 9AM - 1PM. After I got home about 7PM I got an automated phone call saying that they were rescheduling my delivery for a week later. This sucks because I had arranged to be off from work and now I have to worry about scheduling time off for a second day because of Home Depot's mistake. They are not getting the appliances in until middle of next week which is five full days AFTER the day they were scheduled to deliver my appliances. Their phone system makes it impossible to talk to a person to get status. Very disappointed. Should have shopped with their competitor instead.

The store is very clean, and it had exactly what I was looking for. The only complaint l have is when asked an employee regarding the location of a product, he said, "Ow no" and walked off from me with no help or seeing can he provide help for me, nothing! In my many years of going to Home Depot, I've never experienced that. Luckily, the next employee helped me find the product successfully.

We recently purchased carpet from Home Depot, and the installation was performed by US-Installations Group (USIG). The carpet is already coming up on the edges, and we asked USIG to come out and repair. USIG did not show up for the first appointment we scheduled without any notice. When they did come, they ended up damaging the tile in our bathroom. I won't be purchasing any more carpet from Home Depot.

When looking for large appliances and delivery service- I'd highly encourage going to another large name or local provider like Lowe's/Best Buy. I had reserved and confirmed a 4 hour window for my washer/dryer delivery from 2-6pm. I waited till 11:20pm and they NO SHOWED and NO CALL from delivery service!! I called to inquire where they were- dispatch can't communicate with truck at 6pm(same people to confirm your strict window)- they told me to be patient and likely there by 8pm?? Called this store of purchase at 7:30pm- spoke to Johnny(who never called me back & he was given my name/number) and then Eugene(who did phone me back by 8:40pm), but no one could locate a number or driver- BC it's farmed out to a 3rd party and page not visible in their system!? If you value your time= GO Elsewhere, bc YOU have options!

My washer and dryer never got delivered and couldn t figure out what was going on. I ordered my appliances on June 22, for a delivery July 3. When my window passed, I called The Home Depot ten times before I got to a person. He said the notes stated I had been called and the delivery drivers came by, but I wasn t home. I have a doorbell camera with no movement at all. I was on hold trying to speak with delivery for an hour. I finally gave up and called customer support one more time, and I was informed my appliances were on back order! How was there a delivery attempt if it s on back order? I asked her to cancel my order as I d rather wait for Lowe s than to give The Home Depot anymore money. I ve had better service from Comcast.

Rented a pickup truck here Friday to move some mulch from East Atlanta to Decatur (a two-hour job); the staff at Home Depot was incredibly helpful, professional, and determined to save me money. The base price is $20 for the first 75 minutes; the savings continues if you refill the gas tank yourself (otherwise HD charges $6+ a gallon). The staff emphasized this repeatedly, noting that I shouldn't ever pay to have HD refill the tank. Entire rental process was smooth amd

This store sucks. This is the second store out of stock of what I need. The HVAC department is a mess! product all over the place and not where it belongs. No one offered assistance or even said hello. The only register open was the self service which is difficult to use with some product. No one seemed to care.

Very hard to find someone to hep me in the doors/windows department. I waited for more than 30 minutes to get help, then decided to go look for a sales person. The only person who could place my order complained the entire time about how short staffed they were and how many hours he had worked in the last 2 days. Then he couldn't make the computer work. It took him about 45 minutes to place my order and then it wasn't correct (even though I had given him a note with the dimensions). He could never complete the order. So I spent a very frustrating hour and a half with no results. Now I still need to get the screens ordered. I'm thinking I'll go to Lowe's.

Usually this is a good store but today I can't get anyone to make a cut on the panel saw. Totally ignored by the burned out employees. One just said, "I don't know how to run that saw." Another employee said the same thing and "I don't even know." Been standing here for 25 minutes trying to get a 4x8' sheet of plywood cut.

I was visiting from Canada with a friend. my friend's car was booted in the parking lot because we walked over for a few minutes to the Ponce Market. Extremely infuriating for a visitor from out of the country. We purchased stuff from whole foods, olive bistro and Starbucks. The EPS booting company did not care, they stand up above waiting for people to cross the street.

I am having a fence built around my back yard, and my contractor ordered the materials from the HD Pro desk. We were told that delivery was scheduled for two days later (Saturday btw 8am-6pm) I cancelled plans in order to stay home for delivery. 7:30pm, STILL no delivery. I called and was told my delivery was moved to the FOLLOWING week? No reason given. So I called and called, was put on hold, hung up on, and then just rang for an hour. Yes, an hour!

I called again Sunday morning first thing. Was told by a store associate that they couldn t override the systems next available delivery date. But I know that they can, or a manager definitely can. But was told the manager was busy with other customers...like just because I m on the phone I m not a paying customer?? (Mind you we are talking $3700!) so I proceed to drive to the actual store at 8am on a Sunday. I need to speak to the manager (Earnestine) who appears to be the ONLY person able to override a delivery date! Which is crazy. I sat at customer service for over an hour after the manager was paged multiple times.

We are talking about not only my pool not having a safety fence for another week (dangerous) but also my contractor relies on them to be accurate and timely with their deliveries son he can plan his work schedule accordingly. Now he is out of work for a while week! Completely unacceptable.

I Want to shout out truck rental department featuring Tiffany and Earl are amazing at their jobs! Multitasking and communicating with great customer service. Being on a time crunch this was very important to me an they worked timely and swiftly to make sure everyone was out quick and fast. 10 Stars!!

Just got off of the worst Home Depot in Georgia they actually lost an item I brought with me in order to show it to them and purchase another one they didn t have it in stock they took my cart and just got rid of everything inside and couldn t find it in the cameras later so I don t have a solution and I don t have my item and their response is that he can t help me because their camera system is not good enough

Customer service lines are ridiculous! They were way past a whole aisle. Only one person working the customer service desk. We even had a woman come yell at three of us for not social distancing. Ridiculous

Best experience ever! Been trying to fix bathroom sink forever. Henry in Plumbing FINALLY saved the day!!! David on Hardware was also helpful as well. We'd still be looking for that one screw. Lol. Thanks guys for going above and beyond and explaining everything!

Buyer of appliance be very cautious. The terms of sale are not adequately posted prior to sale. They do not take anything back and have terrible customer service. They blame the delivery company and neither company will help to correct the situation. Corporate Customer Service team directs you to the store manager who is never in the store or apparently capable of returning phone calls.

This is a pretty good Home Depot. They have a few less common items catering to the historic/more unique intown housing stock, not just the everyday bland suburban styles one usually sees at big box stores. Employees were friendly and helpful last time I was there.

Tammy in the power tool section was SUPER helpful. We're looking to buy some tools for some building around the house and yard. She explained what sort of tools we would need and showed us all of our options and told us she could always help with any questions we might have in the future. We were just shopping around to compare prices, but with genuine, friendly help, we will buy anything we might need, just so Tammy can continue to be our helper. Thank you!

Worst service ever. During my visit to the lumber department at the midtown location I requested service from two associates. Both telling me one min before they could privide assistance. So after 15mins of waiting I called the store number only to be told it would be an additional 30mins before someone could help me and the other 3 customers waiting for service. Not a very good customer experience at all.
