Worst experience of life. The three times I went there to purchase laminate and inquire about installation, they had zero experienced people working in the flooring department that could help guide me in the process. I get that people need to learn but don t let them fend for themselves when they have no idea about anything they are talking about. At the time, they had a promotion going where you would get 50% off installation, which sounded like an amazing deal, especially for me. But unfortunately the person that happen to assist me in the three times I tried to inquire/purchase the product and service, didn t have enough information or the knowledge to seal the deal. Stupid me still decided to purchase the materials only because I loved the flooring they were selling, and the price was right. I was purchasing two different types of flooring, one for my upstairs and one for my stairs. I had to order the stair flooring through special ordering. No big deal right? Nope. So wrong. They told me that I would wait 10 business days for the materials to come in. It s now been 34 days and I still haven t received my stair nosing to complete a job that I hired someone to do. If the employee at the time of purchase had to of been knowledgeable and tell me that the stair nosing was on back order, I would of 100% took my business elsewhere. Renovations are not fun. Especially when you have a time limit and family from away up helping you get it done and couldn t stay to see the finished results only due to lack of experienced staff. During the 34 days I have been waiting for my product, no one from the store contacted me to inform me of the delay. It was only until I called probably 15 times asking did I even find out it was on back order. My advice to anyone doing renovations in the near future is to go anywhere else but here. It has affected my living situation so much and I ve now lost the contractor I had hired to finish the job because it s been so damn long. The store has offered no compensation, not even an apology. And therefore I will forever boycott Home Depot and spread the word of my experience to everyone I know. It s really not acceptable

It's a Home Depot. Is anyone even going to look at the Google Reviews of a Home Depot? Like you've never been. It's a Home Depot. They have what I need, so I shop there. The staff are mediocre, but every so often I come across someone super useful.

I am so tired of Home Depot s incredibly rude floor staff. Cashiers are always great, but asking any of the guys on the floor for anything gets me nowhere, and usually quite rudely. The funny thing is my husband never gets the same treatment. Maybe step up the customer service training and try to improve this because I m absolutely done with this company.

Despite the fact they claim they are open today, all the isles are temporarily closed with no workers in site. I could see what I wanted but unfortunately wasn t allowed to buy it. I ll never step foot in your store ever again.

I purchased from Home Depot online. WHAT A MISTAKE!

Their system booked a delivery on the earliest delivery date for Sunday, November 10th. This was fine and we made sure everything was ready for the delivery - including people home for the delivery.

After not hearing from anyone, I called and talked to someone from a contracted call centre. They were pleasant, but told me that the delivery company wouldn't deliver until Friday the 15th. No one from the contracted delivery company called to inform me of the delivery change. We waited around Sunday waiting for a delivery that never happened and no one even calls to let you know that it isn't going to happen. On top of it, they arbitrarily pick the 15th - a day when no one can be home. So now we have to bump it to the 19th; because that is the next earliest day they can deliver this to me... 9 days after the original delivery date - a date that their own system selected and we agreed with.

Trying to get this sorted out is nothing short of a nightmare. Third party customer service, no voice contact with the third party delivery company, a delivery company that doesn't contact you to book delivery or make changes - they arbitrarily spring on you, and no one at the local store that can sort it out. Actually, no one - anywhere - that can sort it out.

I should have bought this from the Brick or somewhere else - anywhere else.

They try to act like the corporate stores are independent entities from their online store - which is a nightmare for customer service.

All I know is that I bought from Home Depot and that is who I made my purchase from - but NEVER again! I will NEVER shop Home Depot EVER again!

Decent prices, and good selection, and it's nice their online website will give you the general location of where an item is. Really wish online quantities were more accurate though, as an item saying several in stock might actually only have one on the shelf.

Home Depot south common Edmonton - Yaminci in the paint department was amazing. I had been to several other paint stores and nobody was able to match my paint. The last time I went back in to see her, she told me I wasn't leaving till we matched it. It took awhile, but her attention to detail and customer service were way above and beyond, and I had dealt with several other stores. She made my first painting experience/disaster turn out to be great! I appreciate all she did for me.

This is my favourite store but, It says that they are open till 10 pm on google but they are not. They are open only till 9 pm and when I told them that it says 10 pm on google the customer service desk told me that they are open only till 9 pm, please make sure that you( Home Depot)update the timings everywhere because it creates a confusion for people.

I won't be going back! My wife and I had purchased a custom vanity top from this store. We had waited for a call back to let us know the top had arrived. I finally called them after 4 weeks and it had arrived but they forgot to notify us. When I got the vanity top back home we opened the box to find it cracked in several locations. I called them back to see what we could do. They had told us they would replace the unit and refund us for 25%. I thought that was a good gesture and was pleased with that response. But, weeks went by again with no updates or phone calls. I called them again to see what was going on and they had no idea. They told me they would get to the bottom of this. Again weeks went by with no call back or email or anything. So I ca led again, and same story, they had no clue what was happening. Long story short after 6 months of either my wife or myself calling and waiting, we finally got a call saying they had received the vanity top. When we went to see them they had no records or recollection of offering us a discount for our troubles. After some negotiations they through in free delivery and 50 $ off. Which was a nice gesture but doesn't compare to the 25% off they had originally offered us. I haven't received delivery yet but I cross my fingers this one isn't cracked. Needless to say I am not impressed with how this whole situation was handled. I know accidents happen and I don't expect things for free. But at least maintain contact with your customers and don't male false promises and basically calling my wife and I lyers. F@#k you home depot!

Very poor and funny customer service.. My car get damaged by their big cart. Cart was rolled itself from sloped parking lot. They said call the cap to find out that who did that.
What a joke~~!!
Also, I bought a electrical outlet, it was wrong one inside of box, I have to go to return it.
Just bad store, not all the other store. Just south edmonton common store is not good.

I stopped in the store yesterday to get some questions answer about painting project and there was really nice worker Maureen .. She was really helpful and kind and patient .. I ended up getting stuff for my painting project.. Amazing shopping experience and customer service need more people like Maureen.. I almost forgot Amanda cashier was amazing too...

Took over 20 min to phone and see if a tool was at this location. We came from the northside because the service person said they had three on the top shelf. Show up, took 15 to find someone to go up and try to find this tool on the top shelf. He couldn't find it and told us to go ask the service person we spoke to where he found it. 1. Piss poor service from staff. 2. Your inventory count is grossly off. How can you be missing 3 tools from the top shelf worth over $300 each? Go to Canadian Tire next door for better service.
