I dealt with Cecelia in the appliances section, as I had some questions about gas ranges. Cecelia was incredibly knowledgeable and her positive attitude and smile literally restored my faith in customer service.

Extremely helpful and patient even with a self-admitted novice

I was buying a microwave and had my mother with me. The salesperson consistently spoke to her instead of me, though I was answering all the questions. I found that disrespectful. However, he did find a cheaper microwave for me, so it wasn't completely negative.

Easy to make return to with receipt. Fast and quick.

Sandra in flooring is the most helpful and pleasant employee I have ever experienced at a Home Depot (US and Canada)!

It takes a while sometime to find staff that can actually help.

I've been in a few different locations, this location had the worst customer service I've ever encountered in a Home Depot. Eager enough to try and and help but if it wasn't easily located on the shelf, was directed to go to their online site.
Was quite disappointed, customer service like this is what drives the online market while shutting down local stores.

Terrible service - the gentleman who was forced to answer my question chose to do so reluctantly. Was not helpful and pointed me in a general direction. Of what I was looking for.

Stunningly bad service. Unless no one else in the province carries what you need avoid this store like the plague. Unhelpful staff, and the store does not honour price match policy.

In and out found what I needed. No human interaction, the usual.

Unfortunately everytime I go to this location they don't have what I need in stock.

Went to return a product , they straight away declined.
This one has more strict return policies compared to other Home depots in town i guess.

If you want a better customer care got to Lowes instead.

The associates are very kind and helpful, but the reason I went there was to buy a cactus. They had plentiful cacti, but the cacti "garden" was a joke. In every garden there was a flowering cactus but, when I took a closer look at the flowers, they were glued on to the cactus with hot glue! As well these plants were potted in rocks, which seems okay, except that the rocks were all glued together as well, how am I supposed to trust that the plants just aren't glued to the rocks, and will die tomorrow.

Some lack of organization with materials, but with an operation this large that is expected.

Asked for help to look at some flooring and proceeded to get yelled at saying "I just started my shift" and told that "no one in the store could help me"... great customer service...

My favorite place to buy stuff for my house repairs, there is always someone available to help me with my question, thanks guys, great job!

I will NEVER order anything from Home Depot ever again and will not be going back to this location. I ordered tiles from this store back in February and have not received them yet - we are almost to the end of JUNE! What an absolute joke. I had spoken to probably a dozen people to see where these tiles were after months with no one EVER calling me back when finally someone realized that they were NEVER ORDERED even after a dozen people had looked at this file... so they were eventually ordered and 3 weeks passed. I called back to discover that they were apparently shipped to the store but had been sold to someone else on the floor!!!!!! They have been ordered again and just spoke with someone yesterday saying the same thing... they were apparently shipped to the store but they are missing and no one knows what happened. I am MORE then upset with this whole situation because we need these ceiling tiles to finish our basement for the sale of our home. The buyers will withhold $2000 if the basement tiles are not finished and it is 100% Home Depots fault. We have given them many many MANY months to make this right but they still are failing. SO DISAPPOINTED.

The guy in plumbing was knowledgeable and helped me find the parts I needed to hook dishwasher to faucet.

Great selection of products, great customer service.

It's one of the best places to go for anything to do with building or renovation.

Wood isn't the greatest, always have to pick through alot before you can find some decent straight boards

Lots of parking, typical Home Depot, service was ok, not the greatest.

Used to be a great store, with plenty of products, clean and good customer service. Obviously there has been a change in ownership recently. I agree with the comments about using Covid-19 as an excuse. The outdoor garden centre was closed far too early, and there is no explanation as to why. The store is filthy and disorganized and forget about customer service. Also there is precious little knowledgable staff. Staff is too busy griping amongst themselves at the doors where customer can hear the conversation. They should be thankful they have a job and are working during this time. Time to look for a new home improvement store. This store sadly disappoints.

Great selection of hobbyist and entry-level professional tools, staff are happy to help out and the store is well laid out and really clean. Seem to have stock on everything they advertise.

I have been going to this store for over 5 years now and they have been a great one stop shop that has helped me build a basement, garage, and deck. I always lose receipts so it is great that you can just return your items using the bank card you purchased them on,

The main reason I am writing this review though, is because of the exemplary service I received from the appliance department (Cecelia in particular). They hands down have the best customer service and product knowledge out of anywhere we went to. When we received one of our appliances there was an issue that stemmed directly from the manufacturer and we thought we would be without a stove for a month. When I went back to the store to complain the management staff and appliance sales rep went above and beyond to make the situation better (even though it wasn't their fault to begin with) and resolved a seemingly nightmarish issue into a positive experience.

This store has earned my praise (and money) and it will continue to be my first stop for anything and everything to do with my home.

Too many people! No hand sanitizer! No cleaning of self check out!

Friendly staff willing to help locate what we need. They usually have many check outs open so you re not waiting for a very long time just to pay for what you have picked out. Always a good thing. We are always making things and doing projects so we require a quick and easy way to get things done. Tons of wood choices. Their millstead is very reasonably priced but you have to pick and choose what you get or you ll get twisted or banana boards. Have had them deliver very large orders to us many times. They let us pick out the boards we wanted. I choose them over Lowe s or
Rona/Totem.

I wish this location was closer to me. Beats the heck out of my local Rona. I actually found people that were helpful and knew what they were selling in various departments.

Horrible customer service, long wait times, and an, overall, inefficient staff leaves one with the strong desire to never ever return.

On multiple occasions I have visited the South Edmonton common Home Depot and each time they haven't been able to locate the products I am looking for, stating that it got stuck somewhere in the building and they have no idea where and that someone will stumble on it accidentally one day and then they will put it out. What a waste of time, I will not be coming here again unless the store is under new management who is capable of organizing it properly.

Staff is excellent, super helpful and they gave great advice.

Looking for corian for the kitchen and I have to wait half an hour for someone to come to help. But their pricing is cheaper than other places I got quotes.

Aisles signs need a bit of work, but when I got into the right place it was very well marked.

I guess I just don't go here enough to understand their labeling system.

They usually have what I need in stock which is fantastic. If you're looking for quality lumber at a store like this you're out of your mind. Windsor Plywood is a much better bet (Sherwood Park location is best!)

All you need is available here and good place to come and purchase..

Ordered a generator online from Home Depot Edmonton S.Common and used curbside pick up. Was quick, easy, received in perfect condition.

No staff. Can't find inventory. 200 dollar sale walked out empty handed. Went to Canadian tire instead.

If there is 0 score, I would give that ! The service in the appliances department is so bad , even the manager herself (so she claimed )is terrible. Definitely will avoid the store gives me horrible experience!

Great tools, sick hardware, limited hats.
