Always wanted to stay at the Gresham and it didn't dissapoint. Belfast to Dublin drop off and pick up stop at the front door. For Dublin, it's central to all you want to visit. Complimentary room upgrade which was a pleasent surprise. Clean, welcoming service, comfortable, great shower pressure and large bath. Breakfast was plentiful and I had the chowder in the evening which was lovely. This will be my hotel to come too while visiting Dublin.

Really nice place to stay, within easy reach of all attractions. If don't want to walk there is a taxi rank right outside the hotel and tour buses. Will definitely stay at this hotel again as the staff are so helpful and friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located on Upper Connolly Street. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The service is of a high standard. Requests were met immediately. The price / performance ratio fits very well. The house has retained the charm of the past but has still adapted to the new times.
By the way, there is something for everyone at breakfast. A large selection of fruit, cereals and of course Irish breakfast. ..fresh juices and and and .......

City hotel in a prime location, fabulous connections to Dublin Airport, starting point for many sights in the city. Reception friendly, breakfast not a highlight, our room was on the top floor (upgrade received) with a view over the city. Price-performance ratio is wrong; Dublin is unfortunately very expensive.

Great location, neat hotel. Spacious room with good bed, seating, enough space for our suitcases and great bathroom with bath and shower. All sights within walking distance and public transport on the doorstep. Due to its central location not the quietest place. Our room was at the rear and you could hear the street noises well.

Very nice. Good selection at breakfast and close to shops and bars without being in the middle of the stag party area. Very helpful staff and was able to check in early after the early morning flight.

Worse unprofessional treatment. Stayed for 2 nights charged me 368 euros then blocked 400 euros on the same card ?!! For 10 days now no refund and when I called the response was it shouldn't have happened but we can't do anything... this is illegal, and so cheap to happen from a so called Gresham.. would give nill stars of I could... never mind the redecoration work on going all over the place as well as a 23 Euro Irish breakfast... COMPLETE JOKE....STAY AWAY

Were here waiting for our tour group. The hotel is lovely. I m amazed that they are okay with groups waiting outside their hotel. However, we would likely stay there on our next visit (maybe that is why they do it!) Great location and amenities. I think you will see us soon!

The hotel has a great location on O'Connell Street in the city center. The room (for two adults and a girl) is quite large and comfortable, but the furniture is dated and needs to be renovated. Bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. Rich and abundant breakfast. Essential reception service.

Started off great, lady who checked us in at reception Shana was lovely and really helpful, we were quite early for checking in and as our room was ready Shana was very accommodating.
Room was nice and clean and great sized TV. Only one pillow each provided tho and they are quite flat but bed is comfy.
We were advised at check in we didn t need to make a reservation for food we just walked in.
We came down at 9pm and staff avoided us like the plague. Literally walking around us as we stood at the entrance to the bar waiting for service or instruction. We had to go to reception and ask what the situation was as all staff were avoiding us, we were instructed to find a table ourselves, eventually we did and were sat for 10 minutes before we got someone s attention, we were advised there s no menu to go look at the one at reception, then we were advised it s too busy so they re not taking orders for another 20 minutes and that we can t order a drink while we wait because it had to be ordered with the food. So we were to sit there with nothing in front of us because as the waiter stated there s a massive back log in the kitchen because everyone decided to book into here just so they can eat inside
We were sat there for 25 minutes before we could order.
After ordering drinks and food (together as instructed) we waited a further 15 minutes.
I appreciate staff being under pressure and busy and also the pressure with restrictions but we were made to feel like we were a burden and that our custom wasn t wanted.
The food was absolutely gorgeous in fairness, and the waiter was lovely.
The breakfast was inedible but the individual pastries were nice.
Wouldn t rush back

Recently renovated. Lobby completely updated, and their ballroom conference room completely redecorated and with new furniture. Even the toilets have been gutted and redesigned. I have never stayed over at this hotel; it has always been for day conferences, but the service is excellent. They appear to run a VERY good operation here.

This isnt a four star quality hotel. No sleep and no full length mirror. The guest in the next room kept me awake by his snoring. He was very loud, the hotel employee walked over and heard him as well. I'm a seasoned traveler and never had that experience before. These walls are way too thin. There's no full length mirror anywhere in the hotel. My room was very far end of the building so I had to walk to the lobby and still was hard to see how the shoe looked with the pants. The key kept not working so I had to talk far end of the hotel twice tired from walking all day on tours. Only the bartender staff was friendly, the rest of them don't know what service means. I don't think I will be back.

Looks nice from the outside and in the lobby. After getting to the room, I looked out the window and was greeted by unfinished concrete finishes on the back of the building, whole area outside the window was covered in plaster and dirt.

Room was adequate, with a small tv but honestly for "The Gresham" I really expected more.

The location of the hotel is luxurious. Very central and 5 minutes walk from the Temple Bar and Trinity College area.
Very good attention and kindness. The spacious rooms and the large bed. The bathroom with bathtub and shower. Fairly good. Buffet breakfast quite good. Without a doubt if I had to go back to Dublin I would stay at the

Our stay at the Gresham was nothing short of perfect. Room was ready upon our arrival, and the staff were very pleasant in getting us checked in. The room itself was clean, the bed comfortable, along with a nice bathroom and plenty of room to lay out our luggage. Hotel is within walking distance of anything you could want or need. Plenty of shopping, food, and even the movie theater directly next door. Would highly recommend the Gresham to anyone travelling to Dublin!

Location is unbeatable right in the heart of downtown Dublin, many tours pick up at the Gresham. No gift shop, no hair dryers in the room and hot water means lukewarm. Lobby Bar is pretty good. Not exactly comparable to a Hilton Garden Inn or a Sheraton, potential to be more.
