I got a good rate considering it's smack in the centre of Dublin. The room kinda smelled tho but didn't ruin the stay.

The room was a bit small but good. One is only disturbed by seagulls a bit but that is part of Dublin.
Food in the restaurant was very good and the staff very friendly.
Smart polite reliable staff, very clean , excellent food very accessible
Lovely hotel in the heart of it all lovely staff enjoyed my stay there
Coffee and scones was lovely, it was quite a surprised it changed since we were last in a (good few years ago)
Amazing hotel and the price at the minute , you'd be mad not too
Good location, quiet and clean. Room could use some renovation though.
I used to like the place but not anymore. Going there only if I have to (mostly because my girlfriend like it). The saff is atacking you even before you sit. When you sit and still have a drink you are politely and with a smile atacked again and again by waitters. Hate to go there.
Pretty good overall, lounge room nice, the first day at the check in i met a really rude girl, but at the checkout no problem
Historic hotel, nicely refurbished without losing its character. Helpful and friendly staff.
Lovely hotel, very expensive, breakfast is 18 per person per morning. Clean room & comfy bed. No loud outside noise from the streets which was good. Friendly service when checking INTO the hotel but the morning we were leaving we got awoken at 8am with banging and crashing outside our door, there were some construction workers removing the windows from right outside our room, this was disappointing. We then went to check out and a man at the reception desk was very abrupt and just stated "room number" when he saw us... Not very welcoming, didn't ask us if we had enjoyed our stay or anything, I found it rather rude. A plus side to the hotel was it was my birthday so I left a note in our hotel room asking for some more of the coffee buiscuits they leave in your room as they are my favourite, to which I was presently surprised when I came back to the room to a lovely note back wishing me a happy birthday and dozens of the buiscuits :)
I gave 3 stars only for the reason that TODAY the security guards approached to me when I entered to the lobby and asked me about where am I going like I was a thief or something, I said Toddy's bar he said I have to go the other door outside! When they are connected inside and it was raining a lot!. I used to be a regular client but for sure not anymore!!!
Very nice hotel. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Great location. Friendly staff.
Very nice place to stay near everything in the city. Was a great place for our honeymoon adventures in Dublin. Rooms are spacious and nice and the staff is ever so friendly and accommodating.
To be from the Riu chain. The hotel is "correct", although I have been better. Rooms clean but simple. The best, breakfast, very complete and varied. And of course the location (in the whole center) you can walk to all the main attractions if you take public transport which is chaotic. The Aircoach transport company that operates from the airport to the center of Dublin stops at the door of the hotel.
Great hotel centre city.. spotless and a great breakfast and the price is very agreeable
Very good location but room was poorly designed meaning not much room to move around in.
The cleanliness of the establishment and the room service leaves much to be desired. Also the interest of the staff in charge of it: we went with a 2-year-old baby who unfortunately vomited some milk on the carpet at night. We tried to collect and clean everything as we could at dawn. We apologize and let you know the next day. The room service in the morning was there ... but it was cleaned but only halfway. They left obvious remains. They were in a hurry? ... And immediately it began to smell very bad. Despite asking several times during the day at the reception a complete cleaning did not attend us and nobody came to complete the cleaning. Throughout the day nobody showed up despite requesting it. At night you could not enter the room - let alone sleep - because of the very strong smell. When claiming again at the reception -and repeatedly- to send someone with a carpet vacuum, only one employee (22: 15h) of those who were at the entrance was presented with a glass cleaner spray ? and a rag. He tried to do what he could, which was no use. He told us to put the air conditioner to avoid the smell (18 degrees and raining). It was a very very unpleasant night and a bad memory.
It's a great hotel with great amenities. Also the entrance and Looby are well decorated. I didn't had a chance to stay at this hotel. But I looked up and had some nice reviews of it.
The hotel has a very good location. The team throughout the hotel is very nice. Well worth a visit.
Top hotel! The location is central. Rooms are fine and tidy. Beds are delicious and the breakfast is good! Friendly staff and good service. We will definitely be back!
Great location within walking distance of the river, shopping and the Templar Bar area. Interesting history to the building as well given that is the most bombed building in the city which is still standing.
Excellent hotel, excellent service . Rooms very clean and a hearty breakfast
Horrible experience. They do NOT deserve 4*. Rudest staff ever (nearly all foreign therefore different culture). Unhelpful. DO NOT STAY here if you can help it!
Very nice hotel with a perfect location!
The hotel is very centrally located on O'Connell Street.
The hop-on-hop-of tours start right across the street.
It is also not far to Temple Bar on foot.
There is also a bar and 2 restaurants in the hotel itself.
The breakfast is superb!
The hotel is located in a historic building and looks great from the outside.
The rooms are elegantly renovated.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
If I come to Dublin again, I will be happy to use this hotel again.
Great central location. Had the early bird from Toddy's. Very reasonable and good sized portions.
Clean rooms, very good beds / mattresses, friendly and helpful staff, big breakfast buffet, lounge is good, food is delicious, but not a bargain paradise (Apperol Spritz 12 ).
Unfortunately no minibar and not a hook in the wall to hang clothes. Very central location, but not loud. I would book it again.
Addendum: The bar staff in the hotel restaurant Toddys Bar & Brasserie was a disaster during our visit. Waited forever and the whiskey sour was something with lemon juice.
Wow what a nice hotel. Extremely nice service, clean and comfortable rooms and what a breakfast. A shame I can not stay for another week.
Very nice staff. First time really visiting Dublin and they had many suggested of good food, drinks, and place to see.
Great hotel, a kindness of all the staff (special mention to the receptionist from Quebec for her French). Thank you and see you soon.
Lovely, classy hotel right in the heart of the city
Fantastic, although his is to catch good offer. We pay 57 pppn in a double room with a great breakfast buffet and generous hours. Well guarded access at night. Spacious rooms 10 min walk from the wiggle. Buses to the airport in the same door. What more could you want!
Would not recommend it.Had bad experience with staff member.
Prices keep going up 6 30 for a pint of Coors 35 for a steak, should take a leaf out of jury's 5 70 for Coors been like that for years ,The Spanish have ruin it.
Wonderful. Clean, central and above all the great staff. Very kind and speak Spanish. We are hallucinated
Ambience excellent, staff very friendly, food very good but could be a little hotter. A nice place to sit and chat as their is no loud music
Great location, good transport links, clean and beautiful decor, professional and friendly staff.
A great place right in the centre of Dublin. Staff are very accommodating and friendly.
Such a lovely place and the staff were all so friendly. Greeting everyone with big smiles and and a hello that makes you feel that they care for how you are doing. Would definitely stay here again every time i visit Dublin!
Worst service and very bad food service and quality. No standard at all
The hotel itself looks grand exquisite. City prices though, the room compared to price was very small, and a lot of street noise even with windows closed. If it wasn't for the central location it wouldn't be worth the money. However food for the breakfast buffet was all fresh
A pleasant meal but my wife's desert which was a white brownie was not very nice.
Great and clean rooms, soft beds, not a lot of space but good location in the city centre. Service is kind and attentive, well trained. Breakfast is plentiful, mostly typical English/Irish style, enough choice for any taste. Food served in the evening is really very nice.
Drawback: Wi-Fi is mediocre to poor.
Great hotel located in an unbeatable location, very close to shopping and tempera streets. Rooms spacious and comfortable. You can leave the car in the parking lot at a reasonable price. Buffet breakfast with great variety.
Hotel under construction ... sometimes very noisy. Very clean and easy to access by public transport. Breakfast very good by cons the restaurant service rather mediocre Monday (ok hurricane ...) server completely exceeded ... waited 45minutes before taking the order ...
Excellent and welcoming hotel in a strategic position to visit Dublin and the surrounding area by taking advantage of the numerous regular buses to the most varied destinations including Belfast
Lovely comfy bed will organised. breakfast was beautiful plenty of staff concierge was very helpful. Very quick checking in would diffently look forward to returning.
Lovely hotel, professional staff and fantastic location. Rooms a little small, other half had to climb over bed to get to other side of the room while I was sitting at table doing make up.
It's a really terrible staff. The staff care more about appearance then it does about people.
Lost its old charm but clean and well presented. Wouldn't pay full rate.
Good hotel with a spacious rooms, publicly availalible gym and good restaurant options.
Beautiful Hotel.....very clean.....great staff and good food .Easy to work with on any issue.
Nice spot for a few drinks and a bite to eat in peace, just off the busy center of Dublin.
Good place to stay if you want to visit Dublin as it is in the center
Fantastic location and beautiful hotel, and pleasant ambience and staff. Our room was rather warm and we had to sleep. With windows open in March, even with the air con on. Comfy bed and a great base to explore
Two boys recepcionists boys in the turn of evening and night didn't know administrate our book when we arrive to the hotel.
Downstairs looks fabulous; however rooms a bit tired. They are large and spacious, but furniture worn. Floor tiles cracked in bathroom. Shower didn't drain properly. Did notify downstairs so they will hopefully see to issues. Room was extremely clean and staff were professional and friendly
Very good hotel! Friendly staff, good breakfast! Nice modern rooms!
Loved it. Fantastic Hotel. Brilliant location. And amazing staff.
Beautiful hotel in the center of Dublin. Good attention and cleanliness. Highly recommended
