WOW! What an excellent show... All the cast were superb, very funny and I loved every little bit of it... there was not one dull moment in the entire act. i loved the rips they performed making fun of many celebrities and including todays songs and raps in their skit. The singing was excellent.. They had my favorite beer (Angry Orchard) but would like to see some liqueur so i could have a Washington Apple. Popcorn was good. i was surprised when we got to our table, they are small as hell.. lol.. but was fine. The actors are even the bartenders and served you food singing a lovely tune with every tip.. Great staff, Great show.. will go back again and again every time i'm in Pismo. I would like to thank all the actors for their great job

you can never go wrong by going to the Great American Melodrama when you visit, there is search on very flimsy paper products which becomes a challenge once you leaves that designated area and enter into the lobby where there's a lot of people that's only my opinion I've learned from the past to not go there with appetite that's my opinion but their popcorn is well worth it.

Our family always has a great time at the Great American Melodrama! Especially when we get our favorite bench seats! Tonite was "Baskerville" and it was so hilarious..we loved it and as always the acting is superb!

As a first time experience, I had an absolutely awesome time. I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as I did. I was in tears with giggle fits. Such a great atmosphere. The performers were amazing and interacted with the crowd to a level that let you know that they were not taking themselves too seriously. Would recommend to anyone for a good time. Fair prices. Definitely got my monies worth.

Been twice before and loved it. Totally disappointed in Karaoke Kid. Putting a new spin on the melodrama didn't work for us. We left at first intermission. Waste of $100 for 4 tickets.

This is one of our favorite places in the area. The show's are funny, the beer is cold, the food is... well, edible. No gourmet restaurant but we keep going back. If you haven't been you should definitely check it out. We became season subscribers this year and I'm so happy we did. Kid friendly as long as your kid can sit still and not annoy the other guests and so long as you don't mind a little mild adult humor. My 9 and 12 year old love it.

We saw The Foreigner there and enjoyed it. This serious play was a far cry from the boo/hiss melodrama of my college days in SLO. They serve simple food. I'd recommend the chicken wrap and grilled chicken salad. Hot dogs and nachos were the same as you'd get in a movie theater. We had table seats which are crowded when eating, but fine for the show. The best seats looked to be row C1 - you look over the crowd, have your own area to set your drinks, and easy access to the aisle. The third act vaudeville review was more fun that we expected. Overall it was a great way to spend an evening. If you support local theater - and you should - then get tickets and enjoy the show.

My first introduction to melodrama was over a year-and-a-half ago. My sister and her family have season tickets. My husband came along and loved it. Keep in mind he doesn't love anything, tends to be a curmudgeon at times. But he and I were both highly entertained. The Ensemble of actors were talented and engaging. The show was funny and upbeat and even choked me up and brought a tear to my eye. I adore their sense of patriotism. The Great American Melodrama continues to be enjoyed by my entire family. Cannot wait to go again. Recommended to everyone!

I went here once with my family, and what a rollicking time. These young actors are so patently and potently in love with their occupation. They include the audience in every drop of the great time that they re having. They knock your socks off. Theatre isn t dead. Not with them around.

I've had the awesome pleasure of attending this theater about 6 times Through The Years while visiting family here. We are from Las Vegas. We are coming today to see the matinee performance. I can hardly wait. Always a good time here and always a packed house because you guys are the best. Don't forget to save room for some snacks in the back surf By the actors.

As a two year alumn of TGAM&V, it was a great place to work, and hone my craft. I would, and have recommended TGAM to young actors looking for a great early career experience. You get to try everything, even breaking type-casting, to stretch your abilities, and become your best version of you.
