Always a great time there and new year's was definitely no exception!:)

Great fun place to see a play with local actors. All the actors were very talented and put on a great show. There was a mix of young and old in the audience and the play was appropriate for all ages. The prices on the refreshments were reasonable as well. Great for a family or special occasion.

One of the best experiences you can have! I laughed so hard my stomach muscles hurt the next day!! Highly recommend going!!! Plus it's a super affordable night out. this place!

So much fun! The music and acting are both great. The seating is kind of horrible, but the show more than makes up for it!

Saw the holiday show. So much fun and my 7 year old loved it. Still singing the Reindeer Rap. Seating was cramped and snacks were overpriced but the show was so much fun

My wife and I have really enjoyed the productions and performances. Melodramas sometimes require heavy handed acting but these are top notch actors and they make it fun and yet sometimes poignant.
They always have a vaudeville review after the play with singing and dance numbers.
Go, take a date or friends and you will have a great time.

We love this place! Season ticket holders for many years now. The talent is wonderful: singing, dancing, and acting... each cast member is a true triple threat. Depending on the show, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cheer and boo...but you'll never be sorry you went.

Love this place. Great fun for couples or family. Laughs and fun for all.

Dinner and show. Plus lots of laughs. Take a date, take your wife, take a class full of students, just don't forget to Boo. If you are visiting the Central Coast area make your way here to enjoy a cultural and artistic experience like no other.

Such a great place to come for a night out. Have taken out of townwers here for a very unique experience. Lots of fun and very interactive. Come here everytime I'm in california

My wife and I go there every year on vacation to enjoy the revues as well as the play / melodrama we saw Steel Magnolias but sort of a comedy version of it. A couple of the actors Hammed it up a little bit more that was necessary. But we still go back every year to enjoy the fun. They put on multiple plays every year so you need to go on their website to see what's currently playing

It's a great place to go for something different. The beers are cold and the shows are funny.

Acting is excellent; food and atmosphere is good; facilities are very clean; new process of being able to show the email tickets made entering much quicker. Reason I gave a 4 rather than 5 stars is this performance should have been suggested for mature audiences only and not been PG. If I brought children with me, i would have been happy having them watch this performance.

Must experience this wonderful opportunity on the Central Coast!!!

The shows are always entertaining, and everyone seems to have a good time in the relaxed atmosphere.

Slays a great show! Hilarious versions of classic stories, some times something new (also hilarious). The vaudeville review is always great!
The bar line has many different options for dinner, drinks, snacks, etc. Served by the actors. If you tip at the bar line they even sing a little song for you.
A great place for an evening of fun.

We went here for New Year's Eve. It was a lot of fun.

Fun, funny and a frolicking good time for the whole family. All seats are good but the tables on the floor can get crowded. Eat before you go - Sylvesters Hamburgers is next door.

This place is fantastic! I saw two of their shows, and I was in stitches the whole time! Everything about it is fun from the second you walk in. Not to be missed while you're on the central coast!!

Was a little disappointed. My family and I have been going to the Melodrama for years and the Scary Poppins just didn't hold up their usual standards.

Highly entertaining, kid and family friendly humorous and musical takes on old classics.

A great small town play house with top notch performers my only regret is that we do not live closer so we could take in more performances

Great family place to go will have your family laughing and singing all night very good been there at least 35 times.

This place is great! Every performance they put on is award winning and the actors always make you feel welcomed. I recommend to any one that loves theatre and the small home town atmosphere.

This is such a great time. If you haven't been there do yourself a favor and go. Fun live entertainment with some crowd interaction.

This is a great place to take anyone and everyone all year round. With plenty of laughing and singing this is a place I look forward to visiting every chance I get.

There is plenty of parking, clean restrooms and concession snacks to keep you comfortable for the whole show.

The cast always does a great job; great singing, acting and comedy. You really can't go wrong.

I've been coming to the Melodrama for as long as I can remember (a few decades). The original shows and slap-stick humor keep me coming back for more. Of course, since moving to South Carolina, the trips to the shows are very limited, I highly recommend visitors and those who live in the area make a point of catching a show! BRAVO!!

We saw the day show, cast was great. They work soooo hard! They deserve every tip they get. They are great imprivisors, seeing them dealing with crowd hecklers was hilarious

Love this place! Fun adventures. Good food and drinks, and love having the actors in costume, serve us. Always good performance.

First time here last night. Had a great time. Nice place to go alone, with family and kids or a date or just two friends. I loved it! I recommend the snack plate for two with the bottle of wine or champagne. I'll be back.

Usually sold out shows, it's a bit cramped, but it is designed to be a interacting vaudeville place, and it is very successful at that! Always a great time here, always!

The actors are ALWAYS amazing and kind but it seems that everytime I go the owner of the establishment is ALWAYS very rude and not helpful at all just wants to cause issues. The plays are always great though.

I love the Melodrama! A great show for a reasonable price. We always come when we visit SLO.
