Great hotel. Helpful staff. Got a room upgraded. Good central location in the city.
Great hotel. Helpful staff. Got a room upgraded. Good central location in the city.
A landmark art deco hotel with an impressive foyer. Located in the heart of the city and featuring a variety of restaurants and a cafe on the bottom floor.
This is lovely older hotel . If you are looking for a view from your room this is not the place for you. We changed rooms after check in because our first room had a view of a building with boarded up windows. Not what I wanted for our first trip to Sydney. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Location is within walking distance of most attractions .
Classic Heritage Hotel, A shift in time and space, great Coffee at MECCA at the Grace.
Clean efficient and good location.
No views though
I stayed here for a week in April 2013. Very nice, clean room. The staff was kind and helpful, and the location in the Sydney CBD was very convenient. I did not try the wifi, so I don't have any comments on it.
I hope to get back to Sydney, and I'll probably stay at the Grace Hotel when I do.
Work put me up here for the week, it was a fantastic hotel in a great location. However they tried to upsell me a "delux room" which I declined, only to be given a delux room. It felt like a bit of a money grab for the room they had already allocated me. Other than this, it is a great hotel.
Located in the center, spacious room, recently renovated, simple and efficient, well equipped bathroom, very comfortable bed, not tested for breakfast, there is plenty to do just downstairs at a more affordable price !!
Great place for a coffee, take a break between meetings and to read the paper. Magic service
Dis hotel is so bad. Staff is rude and the food tastes like bridoons foot. The bed is like a toilet and the toilet is like a bed. Penis
Lovely huge room, premier signature I think they called our room, great historic building, perfect position for all our city needs when staying in Sydney.
Great attitude on part of front office staff, large well appointed rooms and very comfortable beds. Recommended.
We recently stayed here on a 2 night Luxury Escapes package and found the hotel to be as good as any in Sydney and cheaper than many.
The hotel has recently been renovated and it is extremely clean and luxurious but at the same time it has a real old world charm. We stayed in one of the signature rooms which was very comfortable with a huge bed and brilliant en-suite. Everything is clean and new.
The staff at Reception are very polite and accommodating. Nothing is too much to ask. Reception is also manned 24 hours of the day which is always a bonus in a big hotel.
Our package included breakfast which was served in the second floor restaurant. Good, wholesome food with plenty of choice and fresh. Sunday breakfast is served until 11 am which is a great service that many hotels have now done away with.
There is a small indoor pool on the 11th floor and a roof top area with chairs and a table.
We will definately be returning to Grace Hotel. It s in a fantastic spot right in the city centre so close to all Sydney has to offer. Well done Grace!!!
Uncomfortable pillows, bathroom with no room for toiletries except ledge over toilet bowl, at $300pn alternatives
Went here for the Malaysian restaurant on the ground floor. Good value, great food and big portion
Great hotel and a fabulous location! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there! Thank you Grace Hotel :)
Very clean and professionally featured hotel in the heart of Sydney CBD. Great for quick lunches or formal seminars.
Room is good, but front office staff can be a bit more friendlier like the rest of Australia.
If You want cent percent Oriental be Chinese and probably a Knock out Laksa
Head this way into Grace hotel and you find viola a oriental culinary mecca, Go for it if you laksa fanatic and they cater for all palates , fish, prawns , cuttle fish, vegetables galore
have you tried home made soft taufu on sauce, you need to if you not done it yet. I might even get fanatical and say hit grace do a laksa otherwise you have not done it yet
Great stay and close to business and tourist destinations
For the price this hotel had many let downs, from the small room size (our friends in the room across the hall had a room almost twice as large), to the fact that the sheets/ pillow covers did not get changed even after I cut my finger and bleed on them. The showers look nice but the water did not stay one temperature ever. It would go from literally burning you to ice cold. If I didn't already pay for the whole 5 days before we came I would have switched hotels.
Hotel looks good but is NOT a nice place to stay.
Rooms are nice. Central location. Prices vary greatly from night to night starting at 190 for standard room 370 for the next one up and then for the same room the following night 510.
Good hotel, good location 10mins walk to Darling harbour 15mins walk to Opera House, reasonable price
Nice hotel, big rooms, some infrastructures are being remodeled, which will be good in the future but for now it's somewhat annoying.
Lovely decor, great food upstairs in the buffet, very friendly staff.
Always a good stay at the Grace, perfectly located to visit Central Sydney. Beautiful old building and has an Irish pub on the ground floor, can't complain about that.
Location is very central, but the hotel looks a bit old and dated
Room is dodgy. Way too overpriced. Plenty of other places closed by. DO NOT recommend anyone to stay.
Lovely atmosphere and decor, like stepping back in time. Parking is expensive.
Nice hotel, great location some issues with the WiFi which when travelling alone is never good. But the staff were helpful. Ten minutes walk from Sydney Harbour via the Circular Quay. Stayed in an executive room which was OK no view as such as I was on the inside atrium aspect.
Great little restaurant next door for late arrivals as hotel restaurant finishes taking orders at 10pm.
I liked the Traveller book left alongside the Bible as an optional read.
Nice hotel. Breakfast is really good. Beds are comfy. Showers are hot. Great Irish bar underneath too. Great location
Hard beds and hard pillows, made for longevity not comfort. Somewhat disappointing.
Very spacious rooms, pleasant atmosphere and experienced staff.
would have rated this higher but the bed and pillows were not comfortable at all and got virtually no sleep in my 2 night stay. otherwise good location with friendly staff and service and room nice and clean. Just too tired to really appreciate it.
Good conference centres with nice spaces, meeting areas.
Nice hotel, lovely art Deco building with contemporary rooms. In the heart of Sydney so made for a good location. I would stay here again.
Great location. Wifi included. Near wynyard and town hall station so easily can get to circular station (opera house) if you don't want to walk 15 minutes. Also close to Hyde park, Sydney tower eye, Queen Victoria Building (mall).
Building has old historical architecture with modern convenience inside.
The bathrooms are very large the shower is very long. I would perhaps put more hooks on the walls or a magnifying mirror or shelf in wall to make the space more useful.
Clean high end facilities, helpful staff, room service is a tad on the expensive side.
Lovely hotel. Old school service. Nice mini bar. Bit dated in places, but clean.
Great, authentic experience. nice environment. good service.
Stayed at this hotel last in August 2018 and was eaten by bed bugs or alike. Haven't gone back since.
Although The Grace is in a great location and has an amazing exterior our experience wasn't a good one unfortunately.
We booked a Premium Family Room 3 months prior to our stay, which clearly states on the website one king-sized bed and two single beds. Upon a late arrival due to a flight delay they gave us a room with a king and one single. When we phoned reception they told us it would be an extra $60 for the single bed to be delivered and that was it. We didn't opt for this because we knew it wasn't right, also too tired to investigate the wording in our booking. After the call we discovered for ourselves the couch was a pull out, so one of us had to sleep on it with bathrobes and towels for blankets.
The central heating also has a temperature control panel in the room which doesn't work leaving the room cold which didn't improve things either.
Felt like a very expensive camping trip.
The Grace has an excellent location in central Sydney. Real effort has been made to retain the Art Deco facade and some of the internal features in the public areas. The rooms are very large and modernised. The breakfasts are excellent.
Excellent location a block form the beating heart of Sydney in a grand Art Deco building. Big rooms, buffet breakfast available, friendly staff.
The Grace Hotel is Sydney's landmark where fine dining, outstanding architecture and a central CBD location intersect.
Had a very nice stay here. Rooms are good, comfortable, clean and quiet. Walking distance to pretty much every Sydney landmark you will want to see.
The servers were great, they fixed any problems flawlessly. Good choice of food on ground floor
Perfect location in the center of Sidney, price / performance ratio ok, large, clean rooms, friendly staff, were there for the second time for several nights, nothing to complain about, hotel can be highly recommended.
Very nice hotel and suitably priced. The restraunt downstairs is very good!!!
Nice atmosphere, great location. Love the lunch buffet and great services.
Loved this place! Nice n elegant. Friendly staff n good amenities. Would definitely recommend this place to friends n family.
Love the Grace. Use the car park here on weekends. The hotel itself has an old world charm about it. Very popular.
Great staff, clean room, good location to restaurants and sights.
Beautiful hotel, wonderful and helpful staff, free newspapers!
Good location in the city, 15 min walk to the Quay, vicinity of good shops and restaurants (Westfirld 5 minutes away). Rooms spacious, price is a bit steep but I assume you are paying for the historical context of the building.
Classic art deco style in the heart of Sydney. It's all about location and the foyer, as an older hotel the rooms (being refurbished) aren't that high end, but what location. Get a package, special rate, splash out.
The hotel is beautiful the problem is the services available. The room we have seems lovely when you walk in but then we realised how dysfunctional it is.the bathroom at the opposite end to the bedroom.Beautiful decor but in the bathroom no where to hang towels to dry to be " eco freindly".
We haven't found anywhere to have a nice quiet drink at the end of the day
Everywhere was that loud you couldn't even have a conversation. Would be much better staying in the Rocks. Not at all a pleasant place to stay.
Great venue, well laid out. Functional presentation suite. Food provided was very good. Aircon was set at great level. Very clean and tidy.
