Nice pub. Food was good. Young people there.....good place to have a few pints and meet other people.

The gingerman is an iconic Dublin pub, it is always cosy and buzzing with chat no matter what time of day or day of the week you go in. The drinks are always good, but the food is really great! The chips, wings, lasagne, and burger are always good. There are smoking areas out back and in the front, useful if your friends are smokers, and they're both kept pretty warm. The staff are always fun and helpful here too.

The beers good especially the craft beer and had a great ambience. But the selection of food was not good. They only had a few items.

Totally delicious food and an incredibly attentive and good service. Terrific!

Nice place, regular pub like many in Dublin. Good atmosphere, I go there from time to time after work.

Christmas decorations are fab. Good selection of beers also.

Was here only briefly but overall pretty good. Loved the decor at christmas time...the whole ceiling was decorated and lit up. Seems an interesting place so will go back definitely!

Fantastic Pub / Bistro! Good food, great staff, we had such a fun time and stopped by twice during our stay but we were right across the street in the Davenport and the hotel bar was boring.

Great spot for both groups and couples. Selection of drinks and snack foods is good too. Decor and smoking area is brilliantly decorated, it's a really nice unusual touch. Place was really clean and wasn't load so you could chat and hear

Popped in here while waiting for the Natural History Museum to open. Service was fast, food was great and their Ginger Man lager was really good too. Worth a visit for sure

Nice pub with downstairs area for larger gatherings, this is the usual venue for drinks and chat after Metafizz philosophy debates at Trinity.

Such a great place to spend the evening a little further out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. We were served by Rebecca who was super! I would ve given five stars if the toilets were a little cleaner (the toilet cleaning sheet had w/c 3 November on which I hope was an error!).
Service, Portion sizes and value for money are definitely worth 5 stars though!
Really well decorated for Christmas too - both inside and out.
Oh and I d recommend the Ginger Man lager, Chieftain IPA, pie and chilli - we had all of this and rolled out of the pub as it s a lot of food for two people!!

Lovely food with friendly staff. Great location. Good service and the food seems to arrive quite swiftly so you're not waiting around for ages after you have ordered as happen in other city centre pubs. The curry is my favourite thing on the menu, really filling.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff (with efficient waiter service) and excellent location just off Merrion Square. A heated outdoor area at the front is also pleasant, even for the non-smoker in winter!

It has become an annual tradition to end up at the Ginger Man the week before Christmas, to meet up with old friends returning home. It is right up there as one of the best and most festive pubs in Dublin, a definite must-visit! The decor is breathtaking but what maketh the pub is the staff. All the staff are amazing, so helpful and efficient. Special mention to be made to the door staff though. Coming out of a very busy pub on a very busy night to get a taxi home can t be daunting for anyone but the door staff at the Ginger Man have hailed taxis for me every time I ve been and have waited with me until I was safely in. As a woman in this day and age, that means the world to me. That s more than their job, that s the caliber of staff there. It may be slightly off the beaten track, but this pub is 100% worth visiting.

Easy-going bar for a mid-afternoon drink. The bar staff were a funny bunch too.

Visited here while in Dublin for a day and right after I finished reading The Ginger Man. Great vibe, fair pricing, and the kind of place you'd find Dangerfield during one of his more sane and pleasant moments

My favourite pub in Dublin. Awesome interior, best in class service, tasty food and beer. Nice and cosy internal room for smoking. Soft and relaxed atea in underground, usual pub atmosphere on the groud and first floor. Comfortable tables outside.

Very nice. Lots of Irish type decor.... maybe a bit busy on the walls, but hey great staff and service. Much bigger inside than from road.

It's a very well run pub in a busy part of Dublin City . It's also serves food which is cooked in their kitchen . They also sell a very nice wice beer . The staff are very professional in serving their clients with the type of alcohol that is required

Great place to hangout, eat good food and meet great people. We stopped in almost every night and met some really awesome bartenders. They were chock full of great tips on things to do and cool places to visit. Just wish we could remember their names to carry on the friendships. They made our trip a memorable one for this crew from Arizona and Idaho!

My daughter and I had just arrived to Dublin staying close by and we stopped in for a drink. The staff was nice and even gave us suggestions on places to see in town. Nice, cozy atmosphere.

Great food! I'm a fan of the classic Irish dishes. You can't go wrong with bangers and mash! They are very accommodating for people with food allergies and have a variety of gluten free options. A wonderful atmosphere and very centrally located.

This place is awesome. Very cool interior and outdoor seating. Staff is excellent, a bartender couldn't find the Open on TV so he let us watch on his phone, that's service. Great place for a drink!

Just across from our hotel.
Particularly impressed with the barmaids ability to carry 5 pints of Guinness without the aid of a tray!
We will be back the next time we're in Dublin.

Real local feel in a city centre bar. Staff is lovely, good buzz, fast service, am a fan especially on a Friday after work.
