Best burger I've ever had, lovely staff and great atmosphere.

Great ambiance with excellent food and staff to top it off.

The food is good for lunch. However, it's always so cold! I go for lunch here every few months when my memory of the food overcomes my memory of how cold the pub is. But wow! Freezing during the day!

Such a gorgeous pub and lovely waiting staff. A much visit at Christmas... it would put Father Christmas to shame.

Decent prices for great food, drink, and atmosphere. Away from the most touristy streets in Dublin.

Looks and feels more like a restaurant than a pub. Not too homey or cosy. No music whatsoever. My Guiness tasted watery too.

Oh no got mixed up with the Glimmer Man in Stoneybatter! Following review refers to that one instead; I can never get into the Ginger Man on a weekend night, people poured into the street. Good beer though. So this is the Glimmer Man, great pub: The front bar is full on traditional "old man's" pub and looks great, keep walking and it transform into a full-on hypster hang-out yard, with accompanying food cart serving grilled aubergine on toast. Enjoyed both faces and the fantastic staff.

Staff very nice, prices are fantastic. Great drinks!

Beef and Guinness pie. Meat was a bit tough, but overall not bad. Mashed potatoes were very creamy and smooth. Fantastic.

My family and I visited Ireland this year for our boys senior graduation trip. Our first stop on our trip was in Dublin and we stayed at the Alex hotel. Luckily enough The Gibger Man was located just steps away from our hotels from door. The building is located in an older area of the block and you can tell the owners had to renovate the building to suit a bar. The inside of the building is adorable in the fact that every detail lends towards the Irish history of the building and area.

It was our boys first time trying Genesis and they loved it.

Good pub, the beer was cold the food was well done. Serve was also very good, the barman was a good laugh.

Good food and drink and friendly bar staff. Nice outdoor space at the front for a sunny day. Great after work pint place. Food is very good standard also, full meals and bar bites. Always a few unusual or craft beers too. Enda Kenny (soon to be former Irish Premier (Taoiseach) has been known to pop in , work colleague of mine had a beer with him there in Feb 2017. Maybe only down side is can get a bit packed but there is a nice upstairs too, U wont be disappointed at the Ninja-man!

Most Christmasy pub in Dublin. Other than that, nothing special.

One of the best restaurants I met in Dublin. Simple but varied menu. Great beers. The service is very friendly and cordial, one of the best I've had in town. The environment is comfortable and nicely decorated. Try the Fish and Chips, Curry Chicken and Beef Pie - all perfect and tasty (very well served). Honest prices for the city.

A good old fashioned pub. Always a great atmosphere in the Ginger Man. Staff are attentive even at busy times. A must see at Christmas - unreal decorating

Beer is not great but it is a good location with good food. Very popular as an after work spot.

Excellent service by the staff who was very friendly and attentive to all our many requests and needs. The Guinness beef pie was amazing as were the chicken strips. Plus their IPA was above average. Highly recommended

Great place round the corner from our hotel food was delicious and warm the staff were very good humoured and price was reasonably cheap for what we had I also recommend you try and book a table as seating is at a premium I would highly recommend this little pub/restaurant

Good pub food, great tap selection (try the Gingerman IPA). Normally pretty busy, so can be hard to get a seat.

First time to Dublin and wanted do experience a traditional Irish pub. You won't be disappointed here, decent pricing on the drinks and menu, the hospitality and staff are amazing and the food was for me out of this world, Guinness and steak pie, washed down with a pint of Guinness. The atmosphere was great and the buzz in their was just what I needed on my trip. Will be visiting again on my next trip to Dublin!

Ok pub but gets very busy after 5pm. Hard to get service. No Budweiser draught. Dont do cashback. Food good though. Has street side drinking area but fouled by cigarette smokers.

Nice bar. Craft beers. Over friendly staff. But the toilets were lacking in paper and soap.

Tasty and cute. Main dishes average 15 euros. The soup of the day (vegetable soup 6 euros) was good, fish and chips and steak too. And everything is beautifully served.

It's a great place to sit and talk, the atmosphere is very pleasant! If you are looking for a place with typical Irish food at a fair price and good beer, this is the place!

I spotted this pub specifically for a pint of Beamish, which is not so easy to find in Dublin pubs. Friendly welcome and quieter atmosphere than other pubs ... at the same time, it was a Monday at noon, hehehe ... Nice place though.

Nice place but nothing special about it. Food is expensive and average. And if you don't drink then it's just a waist of time.

This place was jammed but its to be expected this time of the year good food very helpful and pleasant staff and the christmas decorations are brilliant

Awesome, traditional spot with a very pleasant sheltered outdoor seating area. Staff service is friendly and it's a firm favorite for an afternoon pint, or for a long evening of yapping with a gang of mates or anytime really. Like maybe More
