Very nice atmosphere, cheery and helpful local staff. No longer always the way now here in Dublin

Typical Irish bar, very warm. A quiet place without ubiquitous music that allows you to chat with friends. Friendly staff with a good atmosphere. A good value for money on consumption
Love the micro brewery pints for 3.50 :) pitchers are the best
Not for Spicy tongues!! Okay'ish ambience n service.
Ordered gingerman signature chicken curry & was disappointed by taste n quality of chicken served
Relaxed, easy going place would go back, I have no complaints for the short time I was there.
Top class traditional Irish pub. Excellent guinness and decent pub grub. I like sitting outside in the front area.
Lovely lasagne with a good pint. What's better than that? Nothing.
Nice, two story pub with tasty pub food and good bear
Lovely food, friendly staff.
Chicken curry half and half mmm
What a wonderful find! Friendly pub with awesome food. Reasonably priced for Dublin. The staff make you feel welcome and as if you are regulars. We were tourists and were treated as regulars. Fantastic service. Don't miss this-it's kind of out of the way so you might not notice it but it's worth going out of your way to visit.
Very friendly atmosphere and staff. A welcoming pub with lovely interior and decor. Food is good too!
Nice popular pub, but be prepared to stand at busy times
very delicious traditional irish food (the beef with the bread one)!
Hands down best place in the city for a Christmas pint!
A lovely pub altogether, be it for catching the last rays of sunshine on a summer eve or being tucked in it's festive ambience in the winter. Could do with a slightly better beer selection, but it's one of the rare places in Dublin to find a good Beamish or Rebel Red
Staff very friendly food excellent premises has a Wow factor when you walk in
This is a great little boozer. Really warm friendly atmosphere but a bit lacking on the beer front but all the old favourites are there. The food is standard but doesn't claim to be anything else. Nice sheltered seated and heated area outside for the smokers too. Well worth a visit.
Love it, a true Irish Pub, great food, we ate there 2 out of 3 nights
While I thought it was pretty good, my girlfriend complained that it was a bad burger.
Great service, super fast and food was absolutely delicious. Staff really friendly too, we'll be back!
Cool bar, had some Christmas drinks here, the vibe in this place was amazing with some lovely decorations
Great grub for your lunch, quick service and reasonably priced.
Best decorated pub we've ever been in!! Great food and service all in a fantastic location...
Both the staff and the food was amazing! Great atmosphere!!
I don't think I've ever been in a more decorated pub in my life. Very cool vibe. They decorate 3 times a year St Patrick's, Halloween and Christmas! Even when it's not decorated, worth the visit for some nice whiskey or a Guinness
Bar with a famous name. Also the title of a book by JP Donleavey. Bar with atmosphere and a local clientele.
It is a great place to have some pints. It is always crowded and very nice. I recommend it.
Lovely pub. Their food platters are delish and their Christmas decors are super cute. The seating is a tad uncomfortable though
Friendly and relatively central. Pitchers recommended.
Very nice pub with a small outdoors area but usually people just stand around the pub entrance. The Christmas decoration is always really nice with lights covering whole ceilings. Food is your typical pub food.
Great pub, especially around Xmas time, the food is decent, but is hard to find a seat on the most peculiar room
Staff was friendly. Food was very good and tasty. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and radiates a good, warm atmosphere.
Fabulous place, friendly and welcoming staff, and gorgeous food. Well worth a visit, especially at Christmas!
Very nice little pub with good selection of drinks. Very comfortable with friendly servers.
This has always been a great pub. Great crowd. Trinity students and professionals.
A great little pub that serves some delicious microbrews - an unfortunate rarity in Dublin. A nice little snug outside gives you that outdoorsy-but-still-privatey feeling, despite being right out on the footpath. Not a bar to visit for a crazy night out, but perfect for just sitting, sipping tasty beers, and shooting the breeze.
Staying in a local hotel but arrived late. Reception recommended here for food and we were glad they did. Simple but tasty menu. Cool decor too.
Surprisingly spacious inside with really good wings and goujons. The IPA was meh and should be avoided.
Class pub for some quick pints. The Steak Sandwich is amazing!
Very nice pub. A must visit in christmas, they have an amazing interior design. They have a small area for smoking where you can sit.
I drowned the Barbie in the guinness glass and then emptied a bag of chocolate raisins in the bin. Was great service. 5 star
Good pub grub. Can be crazy busy during peak hours though. Classic pub spot. Mural on the side is pretty cool too.
Nice place for a drink, food is simple but good . Good staff great atmosphere.
Over for wknd from glasgow nice wee pub good atmosphere
Very nice lunch but booking recommended as it's always busy. Great spot in the evenings too.
Fantastic,, Christmas decorations over the top. Despite being extremely busy, the staff was remarkable in keeping the queue organized, serving drinks and the food as quickly as they could. All our food was hot and delicious. So glad we came. This restaurant is a gem!
Good all round pub, ok food, good pints, good staff, good location.
Thursday night in Dublin when the sun is shining is not the time to have a nice quiet meal with your folks!
Friendly service from the waitress on.
Food was mediocre and couldn't have a conversation due to two drink tables on either side.
Good beers and away from the chaos of downtown Dublin.
1st pub I went to in Ireland. People and staff were great as were the brews.
Great pub food and some of the best craft brews in the city!
Lovely atmospheric pub, probably more suitable for younger people due to high volumes of sound coupled with lowish ceilings.
Really awesome little pub, damn good food, nice barkeepers, also have a friend of us who had his bachelor party a free drink. Last but not least best Irish humor (kinda British you might find) tumbs up 5 stars straight away
Fantastic pub. Brilliant atmosphere plus Friday staff and cool people.
You have to go at Christmas time, it's best year around but spectacular at that time.
You can get a pint of larger for 5 euros in here. That to me is amazing in Dublin
