Beautiful theatre. Didn't get to see a performance. I'm sure that it would have been an extraordinary experience.
Beautiful theatre. Didn't get to see a performance. I'm sure that it would have been an extraordinary experience.
This is a great venue. Absolutely beautiful and historic. The theater is awesome and the ballrooms upstairs are just as nice and spectacular.
I would always prefer to see any performing arts at the Fox and have enjoyed many shows and events at this true Gem of Atlanta.
If you're in town, I highly recommend finding a reason to visit.
This is the best performance theater ever! This place is very luxurious and claasy. The shows that are performed here are wondeeful too!
Nice theater. Rows are a little too close and the intermission gets packed but it's still worth going to see shows here
This theatre is beautiful and has many quality productions. I ve sat in many seats in the theatre and had good views from any seat. Very romantic date location.
Beautiful, historical decor! Need other food and snack options, but overall wonderful place!
Saw The Tedeshi Trucks Band here about a year ago. They over served alcohol and the audience was up and down all thru both opening acts and TTB.... To many drunk people for me to enjoy the show. Security was non existant and people just milled about all night.
Plus two opening acts were 2 to many, and TTB didn't really seem to notice the audience. I felt like I was watching a rehearsal.
I love them and thier music, but that was not a good show or venue. I am disappointed in the Fox Theater, but at those prices for beer and drinks, I guess they were making allot of money, and saw no reason to stop serving at any point.
It's no fun on the end seat when people hit the bathroom 5 times each........ and no fun to watch drinks arguing when you want to hear and see the Band.
Sorry folks.....
The fabulous Fox sign greeted us as we exited the MARTA station and walked the short walk to the door. Upon entering this legendary venue I was overwhelmed with the presence of the spirits that have performed there. The enthusiastic Widespread Panic throng was buzzing around like honey bees and I knew this was going to be epic. While the bar lines were quite time consuming we found our balcony seats before showtime and got to soak in the atmosphere and architecture that make this venue famous.
The show was mind blowing and as we left around midnight to catch the MARTA train back to the Hyatt Regency, I promised to myself to return next year.
Love the Fox! What a beautiful historic place to go see a show.
Saw Eddie Izzard. Great show and the Fox is always a great venue.
Beautiful theatre, great performance of the nutcracker.
Always a great time when seeing a show at The Fox. If you have not seen Wicked, I highly recommend you go see it. It is twist on a great classic The Wizard of Oz.
The best, I went to see Tyler Perry today 11-11-2017.
Gorgeous atmosphere! Loved the Kingdom Hearts Concert!
Sooooo BEAUTIFUL, I Can't wait to visit again. Every seat in the house appears to be Perfect. My 2nd time here,
It's a Mosonic Building full of beauty! What's not to love about the Fox Theatre
Pretty nice venue for live events, concerts, tournaments, talent shows, theater. The seats are pretty comfortable and the view is pretty good from most seats. The concessions are kind of expensive, and they will close without prior notice well before the end of the show.
Great place. I only wish the seats were stacked, it's hard to see sometimes.
Beautiful venue all seats are good sound good. Old school grand theatre
Worth visiting just to see the interior decoration! Some might argue that it's gaudy, but I like it. Especially the blue ceilings painted/lighted to look like the evening sky.
I was here to see Les Miserables. I sat in the cheap seats up top. I could hear the singers fine, since they had mics, but sometimes it was hard to hear the pit orchestra.
One of the greatest place of all. Enjoyed Jeffrey Osborne!
"Nightclub" is cool and a-perfect circle good light show
I saw Prince's 'piano and microphone ' show here. The venue is beautiful and they smoothly moved 4000 people in and out of the venue between shows.
CATS was unreal! Beautiful theater. Always a wonderful experience.
Had an awsome time here went to the Jersey boys. Beware there are a lot of stairs. Other than that it was awsome.
Extreme small/tight seating and you must not be afraid of heights. It was nauseating looking at stage due to seating height. We sat near seat 50. Staff was super friendly, sound and lights were perfect.
As always an establishment of refined class. I always feel like high society when I see shows here's the staff is incredible and always willing to lend a helping hand and a smile :)
First time being there seen Alabama and Charlie Daniels Band in concert had a great time will definitely go again
Best venue to see Broadway theater in Atlanta
The Marquee Club is
Nothing Like the Fox
If you go to Atlanta, you have to check out the Fox Theatre. This beautiful place is a piece of Atlanta history, and an amazing venue to enjoy a show, drink or a bite. There are plenty of great restaurants around, and it's a great spot for a date or group outing.
This was my first time going to the Fox and it was quite pleasant. The ushers were very nice and the inside of the theater was quite nice. The parking was a bit pricey but I'm sure it's due to location.
Very organized, loved the play and the theater is beautiful!
During Aziz in 2019, someone already had our seats (I bought them online, and it looks like someone had handwritten something on their tickets so I guess the people in my seats got "comp'ed" our tickets?!). So while the usher was figuring things out, WE SAT ON THE FLOOR for about an hour of the show. By the time they got us new seats, the show had like 20 minutes left. In email, they said they would comp me tickets to another show, but I've yet to hear back from anyone (this was months ago, so I doubt I'll hear anything in the next few days). After spending about $250 on tickets, I think my experience should have been a LOT different.
The staff was friendly so there's that, I guess.
I love the Fox. It is a great music venue. It s hard to believe that this historic Arabian motif building was almost torn down. The venue has approximately 4,600 seats all with unobstructed views. We just saw Trevor Noah, and we have see other musicals and concerts.
If you re visiting Atlanta it s one of the must see places here for the history and a great experience. It is a pricey for drinks and refreshments but that s expected. One of my favorite places in Atlanta.
Saw the last performance of the Nutcracker at the Fox. Excellent venue with a ton of history.
Sound isnt great and structure needs to be updated. The seats werent great either and they were pretty close
I went to see the Atlanta ballet production of the Nutcracker. Even with the large crowd of people it didn t take long to get through security. This was my first time visiting. The theater is so beautiful. The ushers were so helpful and the seats were comfortable. Mighty Mo played during intermission. It was a wonderful experience and I can t wait to go back.
This place is enormous and the architecture is breathtaking. I can't wait to go again!
Seeing shows here had been a family tradition since I was in highschool. Now I'm taking my kids to the stage door after their favorite shows. Love the Fox!
I love this theatre. It's my favorite theatre I have ever been to. So much love and care goes into keeping this theatre as beautiful and unique as possible. There is no experience quite like the Fox Theatre!
Great early 20th century theater. Proximity to MARTA and restaurants of Peachtree Street. Recommend taking MARTA, parking is a hassle.
Great great great great great great great great great great great and fun experience at the fox
Enjoyed the musical and the venue. Older place so just be mindful of the battle for the bathroom at intermission.
Please do yourself a favor and visit this amazing venue next time you're in Atlanta.
The unbelievable detail of the interior is something that's just so incredibly rare to find in this century. It's a little frightening to think that this beautiful landmark came so close to being bulldozed into a parking lot in the 70's.
Even if you can't make a show, I believe they offer daytime tours if there's nothing big going on. You will not regret it, I promise!
I love this place the history, the beautify and how hug this place is unforgettable.this is a great place to bring the family to see Christmas shows and even other shows I love this place it brings me back to New York City a little

History of The Fox Theatre
The history of The Fox Theatre dates back to 1928 when movie mogul William Fox decided to build an opulent theatre in Atlanta that would rival any other theatre in the country. He hired architect Olivier Vinour from New York City who designed an incredible building that combined elements of Egyptian and Spanish architecture.
When it opened on December 25th 1929 it was considered one of the most magnificent theatres ever built with its ornate decorations including gold leafing throughout the auditorium and lobby areas along with intricate carvings on every surface imaginable.
Over time The Fox became more than just a movie palace; it became a cultural icon for Atlanta residents who enjoyed attending live performances there as well as movies. In fact during World War II soldiers stationed nearby were given free admission so they could enjoy some entertainment while away from home.
In recent years The Fox has undergone extensive renovations which have restored much of its original grandeur while adding modern amenities such as updated sound systems and lighting equipment making it one of America's premier venues for live entertainment today.
