The Fairlane Club Review

Honestly, I don't even know where to begin. I was horrified by the way my best friend's mom was treated today. I want the whole world to know about her experience! First off, MIKE, an employee was incredibly rude to her. I was absolutely disgusted by his treatment. He not only yelled at her in front of her kids, he also did not apologize for his behavior even though he was clearly in the wrong. I am full of anger as I type this!!! My friend's mom has been a member of the fairlane club for almost 5 years now. Today, she ended her membership, and I don't blame her. He had no right to raise his voice, she didn't do anything wrong. The owner said so himself. I don't normally like to mention names, but I want people to see what kind of person Mike is. You undermined her; you should be ashamed of yourself! Oh, and Cherry at the front desk, how about you smile every once in a while, make us feel welcome for a change? I'm sorry if I'm coming off as rude but that's how you and Mike made us feel on an everyday basis. Just thought we should swap turns for once. Honestly, isn't the fairlane club supposed to be a fun and welcoming place? So why is it that every time we go, we feel so unwelcome? I'm sick of it, so I'm gonna let everyone know just how rude and crude some employees are! You lost 9 members today, we'd much rather go someplace else where we're appreciated and treated properly.

I went to Ladies night and was greatly disappointed. I have a certain reputation to keep and really did not appreciate the drunken staff rubbing on me as I danced. It was shameful how they stood around the bar getting drunk mdoing shots. I really do not know how the owner allows his employees to get that drunk while they are working. It is rediculious. If you are an out of control drunk come join in the fun with the Fairlane managers.

Beautiful place to a wedding, party or reunion. Sound system is awesome. Beautiful decor and set up

90 minute couples massage and $20 restaurant credit for $100 with a groupon. The massages were awesome I highly reccomend Valerie she is a great. Everyone was very accommodating. We weren't hungry they let us use our credit on a carryout. The waitress I didn't catch her name was also super nice.

Loved having a wedding event at the Fairlane Club - all of the staff are incredibly hard working and so easy to work with. All of our requests were met and the day of was hassle free. Special shout out to Charity and Kasey for their extra efforts!!!

I was all set to book my wedding here for the year 2020, however the athletic club was closed and they have an open and unkept dirty pool outside and have no idea when they will have a cover for it. I inquired several times asking how they can guarantee me that the banquet portion of the building would even be open and in business by next year and they stopped contacting me. Definitely would not book anything for the future. Don t see them being around long PPLEASE don t loose your money here

I decided to try a spa treatment here recently. And hands down massage therapist Sheletha did a excellent job and provided an amazing experience. From the initial consultation to understand my goals for the session and addressing my problem areas she provided a very relaxed atmosphere that left me much more refreshed afterwards than when I arrived for treatment. Definitely 90min well spent.

This place is so outdated. I was not expecting walking into the 90's when I walked in to see a room for a wedding reception I was planning on having here. Not only is this place outdated, the furniture is old, the carpet has stains, and it smells awful. We had a 12:30 appointment to meet with Charity Bronson, we informed the receptionist of such, she had us fill out a document with our personal info, then told us to have a seat. We sat then waited... and waited... finally we hear the receptionist whispering to a co-worker as she was confused as to how to address Charity that her 12:30 have been waiting. She knocked on a door, went in and we waited... waited.. finally I told my fiancee that we have to leave as I started to get really irritated as this was so rude and unprofessional of her. Where do you think you work at? They Henry? The Dearborn Inn? well you are far from it, we left this nasty place and ended up booking near by. Thanks for all of your help Charity.. Oh one more thing, she didn't hesitate to call or email me to apologize for the inconvenience she caused us as we waited almost a half an hour for her.

Nice place. Came to attend the Mega Saturday event.

Had my moms 60th surprise party here. Amazing place. Amazing food. Amazing staff! I don't have a single bad thing to say. The servers were SO attentive and nice. Mohammad and Ishmael helped me with setting up my MacBook for our slide show of pics. My mom was running late so they let us stay in the room a little later than we planned originally- the customer service was superb. Would highly recommend . They know how to do it here.

Hosted a career fair with the Rivian Team! 10/10 would come again!

Mark Holiday was really rude. I came in about two months back and he took my info down but never emailed me. Then I called back to follow up with him and he said $2500 just to get the room for an hour in the day time on a Friday or a Saturday for a ceremony. He didn't try to suggest another day. He just said and I quote. "IT IS WHAT IT IS". Any sales person would try to make money another day. I assumed he didn't want to deal with black people.

We had a wedding here May 20,2017 it was absolutely amazing ! I handed charity a timeline and hoped she would have everything go smoothly and sure enough she did ! Moe was excellent as well he made sure we got everything we wanted and whenever there was an issue he resolved it without stressing us out! Chef Kasey was phenomenal, our guests would not stop talking about how they loved the food ! Charity and Moe made my wedding planning experience great ! Highly recommend !

I was at a graduation party at the fairlane club tonight food was phenomenal especially the sushi made by chef kasey. Service was great as well!

This is a cool place but it honestly feels like its stuck in the 70s. We went here for Thanksgiving and had a great buffet meal but the club itself is so outdated that it feels like it needs a total overhaul

My kids have swim lessons here an so far I have no complaints

All before planning my wedding, Charity assured me we could have the fireplaces on. We were married in April 2019 and the library which we used for the groomsmen and the lecture hall were all cold. My makeup artist was scared to touch my face because her hands were cold. During our cocktail hour the guests complained they were cold.

I (bride) asked them to turn up the heat four times and they didn't.

We hired a host to enforce our seating chart for our reception. I should've known better when I didn't get to meet the person beforehand. Our seating chart wasn't enforced and we had wedding crashers because people were allowed to walk into our reception and sit wherever they wanted.

We paid a lot of money but on the day of our wedding the service wasn't great. And when I complained, Charity had an attitude with me.

just joined for the tennis program and my family and i are truly enjoying everything the Fairlane Club has to offer

Mohamad was amazing, great staff, Aya, ismeal, Cleo, natashia, were outstanding. Had my brothers grad party and it was as perfect as explained. Had a buffet and food was always out right away, great service. Will do more events here in the future due the amazing experience.

Yet another class act from Charity and her team! The cleanliness and professionalism is above and beyond. Thank you all so much for making baby Carter's shower a gigantic success!!

I came into the Fairlane Club to inquire about a membership for me and my family. I was greeted at the front desk by a lady name Cassandra. She had so much grace about herself and showed a lot of passion and information concerning the club. With people like her working there I m definitely thinking about getting a membership. Thank you Cassandra for all your help!!

We enjoy coming to the Fairlane Club for many reasons. Great Athletic Facilities, Social Events, Buffets and their holiday brunches.
The outdoor pool is the best in the city. This is a hidden gem in Dearborn.

The fairlane club was a very clean and classy area for a variety of events. I went for a class project to film a scean for Romeo and Juliet. The staff was nice and respectful and I'm very thankful for them letting us shoot our film there.

I wish I could give them a zero. My wedding was last September and the day before my wedding they lost power and didn t bother to call myself or my husband. My mother in law found out when she went to drop off my wedding cake the morning of. They offered to serve our guests in the parking lot with fried chicken. It wasn t until a friend of the family found an alternative venue for us that they even tried helping. Once everything was over and done with they still refused to refund us any money. I had given bad reviews before about this place to finally have them come to an agreement only to have them back out once I took my reviews down. Do not go here for any events!!!!!!! They are great when you pay up front for everything, but once something goes wrong they ignore you and won t do anything to help. They ruined what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life that I was planning for 2 years.

Mohamad and Cassandra and Aya were absolutely amazing. I will have all of my birthday parties here for everyone. The food was phenomenal. The service was stellar. I can't say more

Very professiona, relaxing atmosphere and revitalizing

I personally have called Kevin Ebied in membership at least 7 times and he never, I mean never answers his phone. To make matters worse he doesn't even return Phone calls. I even got in my car and drove to the club, guess what? Not in and no one can sign up new members. How on earth is this place going to stay in business? I'm taking my money to Dearborn Health and Raquet where they actually have a responsive sales team. No sense in complaining to the owners of The Fairlane Club because Kevin is a relative of the owner. What a joke of a business model.

Worst place ever, should be shut down. Rude chief, awful food.

This venue was fantastic! Food was delicious, decor was elegant and all the help was friendly and actually helpful. The lighting was perfect.

The staff were acommadating,. The banquet food was delicious, nice atmosphere.

Parking lot and building entrance not well lit for evening affair. Since the glass entryway is tinted, its deceiving whether the building is open for business. Once inside, all is well.

Had a graduation party here. The mediterranean style buffet was absolutely delicious. Mark, Charity, and Moe really went out of their way to make this an easy and fun experience for us. They were present the entire night and were accommodating for anything that came up unexpectedly. Super affordable, plenty of event space, and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend their exemplary service for any events or weddings here!

Wonderful Mother's day brunch. Beautiful display, abundant, tasty, quality food. Maybe needed a few more waitstaff to clear dishes and bring more drinks, but our family will go again.

When I tell you this place is so old I am not joking. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATOR. I got stuck with my kids in there. And the place has an old smell. But other then that it's a good place to teach your child swimming.

This place was beautiful and Mohamed was super accommodating. The hall was perfect and the staff was super nice they were a pleasure to work with.

Have been coming here for the last decade and tell you what the service here is amazing, and I also really appreciate Mohamed for all his hard work and dedication towards the members at the fairlane club especially me, he treats everyone with respect and makes everyone at the fairlane club comfortable and relaxing with no trouble. The food is great, the gym is great, the staff members are great, and more importantly Mohamed is great. So if you ever go to the fairlane club always ask for Moe and he will help you out with any needs that you have at the fairlane club.

I want thank the faculty for a great service it was my grandma 80 birthday they made sure everyone was treated and taken care of, and specially thanks to Aya the Assistant Manager she was professional and genuine to everyone

Went there for a meeting. Very open, clean. Staff was great, good food.

Mohamad, Aya, Ish, Chef Kasey and the rest of the staff at the Fairlane Club provided the best service we've had at our party. I look forward to coming back again and getting that phenominal service again. Kudos to Mark as well.

I attended my cousin's graduation party and the food was absolutely amazing. The servers were very respectful and on top of everything. Mohammed, who works at the Fairlane Club, was very helpful and very nice. I applaud his service, and I highly recommend the Fairlane Club for any of your banquet needs.

My husband and I renewed our vows on July 6, 2018. From my initial contact with Charity she made this one of the best experiences ever! She was always available for any and all questions and any last minute adjustments she made happen with no problems! The staff was beyond amazing they made sure everything was exactly as we planned! The men had their own suite and my bridal party and myself had ours! The chapel was decorated beautifully in my colors and the ballroom is absolutely beautiful! I would Recommend this venue to everyone, all I had to do was show up, I knew I was in great hands

My son had his wedding reception here. It was a beautiful, clean and pleasant atmosphere.

Aya was our server tonight and she was awesome! Super interactive, helpful, and friendly! 11/10 would recommend

Came here for Mother s Day. Nice setting but kinda expensive for what they had to offer.

We recently had our wedding there, and the entire staff was amazing. Marc Gulliver did a great job in organizing our event. Chef Kasey Faraj had prepared the most amazing entries . The food was on time and fresh, the setup was perfect in the rehearsal area. All my guests loved the staff , I would definitely recommend this place for all occasions.

For anyone who is planning a wedding or a babyshower this is a beautiful hall with amazing interior design much more upscale without being too costly. They will work with you on payments. However because they are so popular when you think you have all day in the hall may be cut in half because of conflicting schedules with other customers.

I officiated a wedding here and the venue is nice and is a really good place for any occasion.

OMG I can t believe they have the audacity to call this an exclusive club . Maybe if I took a time warp back to the Brady Bunch show. If you re lucky you ll get to meet Teresa, member manager. She needs to go back to her job as chief pizza taster for the hut. What a shame, but what a joke!

Charity ( Venue event coordinator) and the fairlane club were nothing but awesome from the moment we walked in the door. They gave us a great deal and were always available for any questions or concerns that I had. Charity helped me throughout the entire year to ensure my visions came to life. On the day of they were super helpful with making sure I didnt have to lift a finger and could just enjoy the day. Aiya was awesome! She was our captain for the rehearsal dinner and day of. She made sure I was ok and checked on me throughout the entire event to see if there was anything she could do to assist. My guest are still raving about how awesome our event was. The setup was amazing, the food was delicious and our bartender was awesome! I choose the fairlane club because it is an all inclusive venue and they did not disappoint. I will definitely be recommending the Fairlane Club!

The food we had was fine. Everything was clean. But dated, old. And not in the worth preserving, nostalgic, antique way. This clubhouse needs some sprucing up. Fairlane Club sounds uppity. It wasn't. Just an old banquet hall. I guess I was expecting more being near FoMoCo & the Ford's Fairlane mansion. Good for a meeting space. I like where it's located. It was quite easy to get to. Staff was courteous.

This is a very beautiful venue to rent for just about any event you are planning. The facility has several large individual rooms for different activities. Personally, the only thing I found wrong with the place, is that there needs to be more light in the parking lot!

The Auto Club Group IT Holiday Luncheon was very good food.

employees are very verryyy rude to the customers, especially women and kids. there's is no penalty for them if they disrespect the customers. additional to that the gym is always empty and very old. and lets not forgot how expensive it is, i would give this gym 0 starts it doesn't deserve anyone's attention.

Way too overpriced. Workout machines still from the 90s. Sauna and Steam room are always down. Food is not bad but really overpriced. They force you to spend 20$ everymonth which Im going to spend regardless but charging it on my bill if I forget to give my card info when purchasing anything is just ridiculous. Great for senior citizens 65+

Past experience was horrible, not the staff but I used to be a massage therapist and it wasn't a very good job, extremely dead and boring, I slid the extra key under the door and called it quits without notice. It really took a lot of energy out of me.

We recently had a wedding hosted by the Fairlane Club. It was an abject, unmitigated disaster. The power went out the day before the event. A DTE issue. Not an act of god , (like a hurricane or lightning strike). At least 28 hours before the event would have been more than ample time for a well-heeled and professional business to have a working generator (the generator at the FC was not working the day of the power outage) in place so that an event planned more than a year in advance would have been able to occur. The secondary venue (6hrs before guests were to arrive) was able to happen because the mother of the groom knew someone that was a personal friend of the owner of Andiamos. Andiamos did an amazing job of setting up a reception for 125 within 6 hours.. beware of a venue that does not have a viable plan to deal with something that would have been a minor issue (no power) if they had had a working generator.
6 hours before our guests were to arrive, the FC planner suggested we have the event outside, no canopies, in 85 degree heat. The food suggested was sides from Kroger and fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy!!!
Unbelievable. Unacceptable.
When planning your event, ask for contingency plans so that you don t have to go tell your bride or groom that you don t have a place to celebrate.

Awesome place. I went there for a wedding and everything was perfect. Everybody was really nice, the food was amazing, and the place was very clean. Our server Aya was great and even engaged us in a bit of conversation. She always engaged us with a bright smile and made us feel very comfortable.

We had our April 28th wedding at the Fairlane Club and it was beautiful! Everyone that worked there was so incredibly helpful and they made our day perfect. We received so many compliments from friends and family which made us so happy. We can t thank team Fairlane enough for everything!

The Fairlane Club is a great atomshpere for Events! The service is azaming! We had an event here with church family!
