One of the better pubs in Melbourne. With a good choice of beers as well as British and Australian ciders. Staff are usually quite friendly, perhaps one of the friendliest staff in a Melbourne pub. Food is quite good depending on what you buy. The ambience is fantastic. It doesn't look and feel like a hospital like many renovated pubs in Melbourne.

Absolutely fuming at the experience we received tonight! Ordered 14 meals plus drinks and only received 12! Had the duty manager, Liam come over and yell at a member of the party! Very unprofessional, disgusting customer service and people skills. NOT HAPPY at all and would not recommend coming here with a manger who runs a shift and speaks to people that way.

Went with an English friend hoping to show me her favorite pint.
London pride is advertised outside the pub but the frothy rubbish they poured after they said "it had to settle for a few minutes" was very disappointing.

A lovely old feel pub that had friendly staff, and reasonably priced food. My DIL & myself shared a plate of delicious arancini balls, (the best we've had)! And a share plate of nachos, made with homemade salsa and the regular toppings. Lovely and could easily be a share plate with 3/4. G/son, 10 had the
Angus beef burger with chips. He was very sad he could finish, "it was really great" but too large. It is in the entertainment book also.

We booked for a group with wheelchairs and were given a very small table with not much room to move. Zero table service, dirty water glasses, high prices and average food which took forever to come out. I feel as though they get by purely on their convenient location. Won't be going back.

Such an awful city experience. Do not recommend. The service was average to begin with then when we asked if a phone charger was available we were abused, it became obvious that this certain staff member have personal issues when they were getting aggressive over something so small and it was very unprofessional the way we were treated as a group even tho we were well mannered and quiet and spent a lot so I will be telling everyone about this experience this staff member tried to degrade me unprovoked

Service, friendly and helpful. Food ordered average, chips lovely and hot but the steak sandwich very disappointing, no point putting it on a large Turkish roll if you are not going to fill it properly, very little to no aioli, one small piece of bacon lucky it covered half the roll, a slice of cheese I think because it looked scrappy and again only covered half the roll, steak chewy

Visited for a early dinner. Didn't enjoy the parma, felt the chicken was cheap. Others had the roast and said it was amazing. Beer selection is good and they put the footy game that we wanted on. The food was the major let down for me

If you want a great place to have a decent drink a good quality pint and snacks and be loud and boisterous. This is your 5star venue. Outdoor seating is good. They do a very selection of foods that fit the genre of fancy pub grub, and are ok. To be fair it is not misrepresenting itself, but you go for the ambience.

This bar and restaurant has one of the biggest and tastiest meal portions available. Real value for money and awesome when going with a group of people. I recommend the Lamb Roast which melts in your mouth. The bar floor plan spans 3 levels and an outdoor area. There's a live band only on the ground floor on weekends and more restaurant style seating areas the higher you go up. Food orders are done over the bar and you will be given a buzzer to inform you when your food is ready. Makes it easy for people to pay for their own meals. There are multiple TVs that show mostly sport. Staff are very polite and its very rustic, antique and cozy bar atmosphere makes this place a definite bar destination when in Melbourne.
