Not a bad English pub. Has some pretty reasonable beer selections. The food is OK. They have some on lunchtime specials. Great seating out front. No rooftop bar.

Awesome traditional English Sunday Roast with all the trimmings and yourkshire pudding.

Awesome place, live band starts at 11PM and stays until late - no dance floor though.

Tried food next day for breakfast; great genuine English breakfast.

Highly recommended.

Average attempt at a British pub. Ok beer expensive. Got the same drinks 200m away for $15.00 less.

The fellow that was singing was really food, and really funny. The chicken burger was AMAZING but the chips were boring. Our table was wonky but the staff were really nice and quick to clear the tables

Interesting place to have a beer.... Was certainly in the context of old London town with mice running around under the tables!

Do not go here if you have a show to go to!
Lost order, no food and when complained they are happy to refund you without a care.
Ordering a drink is a joke. I counted six staff behind the bar and ONE girl serving whilst the other five had a catch up.
Terrible service. Not worth wasting your time or money. Melbourne has MUCH better places to go to.

Charming place with great english atmosphere, good pint with tasty pizza for a late lunch.

Saturday week ago....fantastic night was had with Matt Bradshaw and his amazing band...had the girls all wanting him and why not!! he's a performer and a half at that....

Excellent place to hang out and the sticky date with icecream is the best so far.

Pretty good for an after work beer. A bit pricy but worth it for happy hour. That's to be expected in the city. Good ambience

The E & W is my favourite Melbourne pub, a must go to 'waterhole' everytime time I'm in town.

Very convenient, friendly, wide range of tap beers, honest and it's great to sit in the open window or outside & meet friends or just have a beer & watch Melbourne walk by. Plus I have a free pint of Guinness coming to me as long as I claim it in time

Very welcome, varied choice for beers on tap, good dish, decent value for money, nice music

Pretty average. Pretty expensive. A bottle of Peroni beer - $10.80. An eye fillet steak - $42. Service was fairly average. All in all, try somewhere else.
