Great ambiance! Terrific place to enjoy a drink and test your weary feet after walking for kilometres around Melbourne CBD. Highly recommend.

Slow staff that would rather have a chat with each other than serve customers
The food is amazing I had a porterhouse cooked to perfection and my partner had a Parma. Absolutely Beautiful. Great atmosphere but recommend checking for tables upstairs before ordering as it can get quote packed downstairs for the sporting events.
Not had a good meal here, last attempt was roast beef which was huge lumps of tough meat curled up at the edges, bloody grim
Authentically terrible British cuisine, bar staff have all the charm of a group of hungover British tourists.
Very nice venue, good band , friendly service and the know how to make a decent LLB without having to be told how to. Very impressed . Well and truly gives the Elephant and Wheelbarrow of Nortbbridge a run for its money.
Good selection of beers both local and from the UK. Fantastic mushroom burger.
Great pub, classic British feel. Quite pricey for a beer
Great pub food and beer, great old place with lots of quiet nooks and crannies to catch up with your mates.
Great staff!! They missheard my order and made the wrong meal but when I questioned it they gave me the right order without any fuss, which is proper customer service!! I felt respected as a person here!! This is the type of place I would return to!!
Great food & service & cater very well for dietary requirements
Fast service, and friendly staff. Wasn t too crowded when I was there this time, so no problem getting a table, but it can get busy. Recommend the chicken parmigiana!
The place is not big, but it is better to have a sense of affinity, and the type of beer offered is also available! I want to sit inside, you can sit on the street! Live bank level is also good!
Old style pub. Open late. Upstairs has live bands which are fun to dance like an idiot with until the early morning.
$12 pint!!! Live music yea! But no food, and a premium on beer. Lots of beer options, which should be a plus, but I couldn t afford to experiment
Had to leave because they had no air conditioning wasn't happy
It is what it is an inner city Irish pub amongst the madness of the city
Had the Sunday night roast. It was superb and the mash was exquisite. Excellent atmosphere.
Food pretty good but literally had to scream to be heard on our table of 6. Moved tables but even then music pumped through the place was too loud. Shame.
Loved this place. Had fun meeting friends and happy hour.
Reminds me off a true English pub. Can't go wrong if you need a quick pint
Decent pub with good selection of beers. Meals come in big portions!
Nice pub, friendly staff but a lil lacking on restroom facilities when very busy.
Great variety. Specials are always great and great atmosphere.
Great selection of drinks and a good food menu. Can be busy on weekdays after 5 with after work drinks so bookings for dinner are advisable
Great place to go for a good beer, chat and cheap good feed. All staff are friendly and make you feel great.
Great Chicken Parmigiana with a comfy atmosphere. Perfect for a quick bite before or after a show at Her Majesty's Theatre.
Good inner city pub fir a cold beer and pub grub. Friendly service
Anti trans establishment, refused entry to my friend who's birth gender was male because he was wearing a dress.
Always great service, beer selection & food
Keep up the good work
Great place to hang out for fresh European beers ! love it
Nice pub with a good vibe. Staff are friendly. Toilets a bit awkard to get to but a great place for a drink with friends.
Great place, but hate how the upstairs bar isn't open during lunchtime. So if you want to order lunch or a pint but have no where else to sit but upstairs, then you're screwed. You have to go back downstairs to order, then back up to wait for it and make sure no one has nicked your table (this joint gets full to quickly, so seating is a problem here), then go back down to collect it, then go back up to eat it. Absolutely ridiculous!! I'm sitting in the upstairs right at this very moment, and would love a drink and a bite to eat. But being the lunch rush, and a venue for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, it is fairly packed and I know that my table will snatched from me once I stand up. (I'm here by myself, so I have no companion to keep guard over my table either!) They should have waiters and waitresses here like at a Bistro, instead of making people having to go up to a counter to place their orders. Would be more convenient, especially during busy hours.
Nice old english style pub, heaps of space over multiple levels. Good food
Had some fun nights here. Good beer and large venue.
What a great, English Pub vibe it has! The decor is all one could expect too. The food and drinks were very good but it did take a fair bit of time to have the food ready though.
Just like a traditional English pub, there are a decent selection of beers on tap, and the staff are friendly. The live music on Saturdays is of surprisingly good quality.
Great service with an extensive choice of beers! White rabbit dark ale on tap!
Excellent service.
Good beer, helpful and friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
Be nice if the staff said hello and actually wanted to serve you..Especially when your handing over 22 dollars for 2 beers
Enjoyed our lunch here, the parma was huge and as expected. Wife got the barramundi which was super tasty, lots of food for the money
Love the atmosphere at this pub however the quality of meals tends to vary greatly depending on the night. My wife and I visited this pub twice in three days. On the first night my wife had the "traditional fish and chips" which she described as delicious. I had the chicken schnitzel which was good. On the second visit I had the fish and chips and the meal was atrocious. The batter was not cooked, it was still runny in the middle and tasted very ordinary and was returned. My wife had the chicken parma which was good. My wife described my fish and chip meal as dreadful. The staff however are pleasant and friendly and the Bulmers cider is great. Overall a little hit and miss with the meals, a luck of the draw. If you are lucky you get a good one.
